Sheila (00:02):
In this mini-sode, I'm sharing something that's helped
me and my high-level clientsnavigate big changes in business
without burning it all down.
I share a personal story fromwhen I was deep in the online
business building trenches andthe small but powerful shifts I
made to step into a new rhythmof aligned success.
If you've been scaling andevolving your business for a few

(00:22):
years or longer, this is theperspective check that could
save you time, energy andunnecessary overhaul.
Hi, welcome to the Connect withSheila Botelho podcast.
I'm committed to helping youreconnect to your purpose,
elevate your wellbeing and buildyour version of a happy,
successful life.
You're listening to a mini-sodewhere I share an insight

(00:44):
designed to help you live intowhat lights you up this week.
Something I've been reflectingon lately, both in my own
business and in the behind thescenes conversations I've had
with clients, is how easy it isto get swept up in the rush of
changing everything whenbusiness feels like it's
shifting around us.
Everything, when business feelslike it's shifting around us

(01:05):
those strategies, the platformchanges, the trends that are
constantly shifting it can startto feel like, unless you're
constantly reinventing everycorner of your business, you'll
be left behind, and I get it.
I've been in this online spacefor nearly a decade now, with
traditional business behind me,and there were seasons,
especially in those middle years, where I felt that same

(01:28):
pressure the pressure to beeverywhere that if I didn't
pivot fast enough or post oftenenough or optimize every single
funnel and headline, I'd somehowlose the momentum I'd worked so
hard to build.
But what I've learned and whatI remind myself and my clients
of regularly is that while toolsevolve and tactics change,

(01:52):
principles don't.
The foundations of businessconnection, trust, value,
clarity and timing are timeless, and the business owners who
understand this are the ones whonot only last but lead.
Your audience doesn't needanother trick.

(02:13):
They don't need perfection.
They need to feel something.
They need to know that you seethem, that you're paying
attention to what they'renavigating and that you've
created something that can helpthem experience their next
chapter with less friction andmore fulfillment.
So, while it can be useful, ofcourse, to refine your messaging

(02:37):
, to update your offers or testnew products, new channels,
don't fall into the trap ofbelieving that everything has to
change.
Often, what needs the mostattention is your daily rhythm,
what you're saying yes to out ofhabit or out of fear not
something to get honest aboutand what you're neglecting,

(03:00):
because it feels too simple tomatter.
Years ago, I shifted a few keythings that made all the
difference.
It had to do with the way I wasscheduling my days and actually
allowing myself more space tostop sooner than I normally
would.
This is something that, whenyou've been in a startup

(03:21):
business throughout your life, you can fall into the pattern
very, very easily of wanting towork around the clock because
you're excited about it and allthe energy that you want to put
into it to make it move forward.
You know that you are part ofthat catalyst, and rest becomes
a real superpower.
So I moved my most importantwork to earlier in the day, work

(03:43):
that required my best energywas early and I started saying
later to tasks that weren'turgent but had been filling my
calendar and, instead ofcreating more, I doubled down on
what was already resonating andgave it a stronger foundation.
So these like they're not superflashy changes and no one saw

(04:05):
them from the outside, but theybuilt this space that I needed
personally to listen more deeplyto my clients, to my body and
to my own vision, and from thatspace, everything else became
clearer.
Your business doesn't grow whenyou just do more.
It grows when you align yourenergy with your priorities and

(04:30):
then create consistent momentumaround that.
So if you find yourself in amoment right now of reevaluating
, that's totally fine.
Just don't rush to burn it alldown.
Instead, I invite you to askyourself some questions.
Ask what's already working thatI haven't been fully honoring,

(04:51):
and where in my day am I wastingmy sharpest energy.
And lastly, what have I beenputting off that would actually
bring ease if I committed to it?
We call that low-hanging fruit.
Come back to your core.
Come back to what makes you apowerful force in your work,

(05:12):
because even as the businessworld evolves, people will
always respond to people, especially those who are showing
up in alignment and clarity.
Thank you for listening todayand if this episode gave you
something to reflect on, I'dlove for you to take a moment
this week to download theEmbodied Success Method and

(05:34):
Meditation that's linked in theshow notes.
It's my free gift to you.
It is a gentle but powerful keyto crafting your more aligned
next steps in both life andbusiness.
I'll see you on another episodethis week.
Have a beautiful rest of yourday, big blessings.
