This week on the minisode, I offer something that every founder—especially those in a season of growth—needs more of: a moment to breathe. This 5-minute practice isn’t a productivity hack. It’s a recalibration. And it just might be the secret weapon your next wave of business clarity is waiting for.

Recorded in the heart of midsummer, this conversation gives you permission to pause, tune in, and ask yourself the kind of question that high-achievers rarely slow down long enough to answer. I’ll share what’s working for me right now and walk you through the exact practice that’s helping me lead with more alignment, joy, and impact—with less output.

If you’re someone who holds a lot, serves deeply, and is done proving your worth through over-efforting… this one’s for you. Come back to yourself. That’s where the power is.

Sheila (00:01):
Feeling the midsummer lull or just wishing you could
pause for five minutes?
This episode is your permissionto do exactly that.
I'll walk you through afive-minute practice to
reconnect with what lights youup, so you can lead your life
and your business with more joy, alignment and clarity.
No hacks, no hustle, just spaceto breathe.
Hi, welcome to the podcast.

(00:24):
I'm Sheila Botelho and you'relistening to a mini soad where I
share an insight designed tohelp you live into what lights
you up.
This week.
I am so glad that you pressedplay on this, because this is
your friendly reminder that, nomatter what's happening in your
business, your inbox or yourpersonal life, you're allowed to
take five minutes and just be.

(00:46):
I'm recording this in the middleof July and, even though
business is still moving, I'venoticed something in the air,
and maybe you felt it too.
It's the pause.
There's something about thistime of year where, even if
businesses are growing andexpanding, there's just more of
a feeling of spaciousness that'slike beckoning us to take
advantage of it, and it's wherewe're invited to slow down.

(01:09):
Even if you're not officiallyon vacation, even if you're
launching, even if you're in aseason of momentum, there's this
shift that happens when yougive yourself just a little
space to breathe.
And so that is what thismini-sode is all about.
It's not big strategy, it's nota sales tip, just a simple
reset, because I know somethingabout you, because you've been

(01:32):
listening.
You're someone who holds a lot,you care deeply, you show up
for others, and it's easy toforget that you're allowed to
receive too.
So here's something I do when Ifeel like I need to come back
to me.
It's a five minute practice.
It's easy, it's free and it'swildly effective.

(01:52):
And that practice is what'slighting me up right now.
You can do this while you'rewalking, while you're sitting on
the couch at your desk.
You can do it while you'resipping something cold outside.
Take five minutes to askyourself this question what is
lighting me up right now and howcan I do more of it this week?

(02:16):
Let it be simple.
It could be laughing with yourkids, not setting an alarm one
day and just waking up.
Naturally, it could be sendinga voice note to someone that you
adore but you haven't talked toin a while.
I just did that earlier.
It could be splashing your feetin some water, wearing
something that makes you feelhot, powerful and completely you

(02:40):
.
Let it.
Surprise you what comes up.
Let it be something that hasabsolutely nothing to do with
productivity and everything todo with presence.
That's the secret.
Doing more of what lights you updoesn't make your life better.
It actually sharpens yourvision in business, too.
When you're connected toyourself, you make better

(03:01):
decisions, you sell with moreease, you attract the kind of
people you actually want to workwith, you really glow, and that
glow creates momentum.
And here's what I'll leave youwith today.
You don't have to earn yourrest.
You don't have to justify yourjoy because you're allowed to
feel good for no reason at all.

(03:21):
Let this mini-sode be yourpermission slip to reconnect
with the magic of you, and letthat lead the way this week.
I'll see you on another episode.
Have a beautiful rest of yourweek.
Big blessings, thank you.
