Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, cracked open
season two.
Here we come, and this season Ireally want to focus on you
know what?
I just really wanted to turn anew leaf and start from scratch,
because there's a lot going onfor me.
During cracked open season one,you know, it started off with
hypnotic meditations and then itmoved into Some tarot
forecasting, and then it movedinto some interviews with Dr
(00:24):
Nick Natali and and this is youknow, I like to just put it out
there because this is my life, this is what I do.
I learn things and I put themout there and I try things and
see how it goes, and you know, there's no shame in that.
But what I really want to focuson for this season is validation
, and the reason why I'mfocusing focusing on validation
(00:50):
is because it's a really aFundamental psychological need
that all human beings share.
It's the process ofacknowledging and affirming your
thoughts, your emotions andyour experiences, and when we
receive this validation fromothers, it helps us feel seen
and heard and understood and itreally confirms that our
(01:12):
Experiences and our feelings arevalid and that we matter and
that we're not alone.
So that will be the sort oflike umbrella focus of this
season and I'm going to besharing Validation notes with
you, okay, and these notes aregoing to basically be like love
(01:34):
notes, and I recently launched agroup program called the
Ascension Circle and it's fullof really amazing women who are
doing amazing things, and thebig message from our first call
together was a relief thatthey're not alone in how they're
feeling.
That really struck a chord withme, because they they were
(01:56):
feeling heard, they were feelingunderstood on this call and we
meet bi-weekly on Tuesdays.
If you want more informationabout that, you can send me a
message on my Instagram at AlanaBanks coaching.
So you know, validation isparticularly important when we
experience feelings ofself-doubt, insecurity or
isolation, which many of us feelright on a regular basis, and
(02:20):
when someone validates us, itcan reduce that negative emotion
that we're experiencing and itcan even promote Positive
emotions and mental well-being.
It helps build trust withothers and allows us to create
meaningful connections and, really, validation is a core
component of my practice as acoach, a hypnotherapist, a palm
(02:44):
reader, a tarot card reader.
I really believe Validatingyour experiences is a crucial
first step towards promotingemotional regulation, accepting
yourself and, you know, havingcompassion for yourself, and
then, on the flip side of that.
It also helps me build trustwith you.
(03:05):
So this is why I want to moveahead and share these validation
notes with you, because Ireally want to build that trust.
I want you to feel seen, heard, understood, and I Think that we
can all benefit from hearingsome validation, hearing,
(03:26):
hearing something that's goingto make us feel good.
So, as I've said, validationplays a significant role in your
life, especially in buildingtrust, promoting feelings of
self-worth and enhancing yourmental well-being, and Its
impact can be incrediblypowerful and can help you
navigate difficult emotions,difficult situations, difficult
(03:50):
relationships, difficult seasonsin your work, ever it may be,
and it's going to allow you tonavigate these more effectively.
So I invite you in.
I invite you to come back weekafter week and listen to these
validation notes from me.
