Meet Nico from Amonia Cervecería

Nico Perez Prieto is one of the co-founders and co-owners of Amonia Cervecería, a La Paz craft beer bar and bottle shop. It may be located off the beaten path away from La Paz's Malecón, but is still a must stop on any beer lover's itinerary.

Sourcing beers from all over Mexico and the world, Nico and the entire team at Amonia Cervecería work to impress, not just to pour beer. With their knowledge of craft beers, your taste buds are sure to find a beer you love. Nico pretty much guarantees it. 

Previously working at Pacific Brew and helping a friend at a beer festival, Nico quickly gained a passion for craft beer. His entrepreneurial spirit ultimately brought him and his partner together to open Amonia, one of La Paz's best craft beer bars and bottleshops.

But that's not all. Nico is now one of the forerunners in not only La Paz, but also Baja and Baja Sur, in the creation of local beer festivals and brewing up a burgeoning homebrewing community.

And while only around two percent of the population of La Paz drink craft beer, Nico doesn't look at this figure as a negative. He looks at it as a lot of room to grow. And it is doing just that.
