Welcome to the latest Creating Structure Podcast. My guest is Mr. Derek Losee, Executive VP, Architectural Division of Steel Encounters Inc (SEI) in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Derek is an executive leader, an expert business developer, and value-based solution provider. He has been in the glazing, cladding, curtain wall and components business for many years.  Derek provides executive leadership and leads business development for the Architectural Division of SEI. In addition, Derek has significant experience in design-assist work, point supported Pilkington Architectural structural glass walls and building envelope integration.

SEI, an employee owned company, is a full service glazing/trade subcontractor providing design, engineering, fabrication, assembly, and installation. SEI also has a steel division and you'll hear us discuss the formation of this and the architectural division.

Like many guests, Derek started out in humble beginnings, worked his way through a family business, his own business, and then ultimately joined SEI.
