cartographer, and shespecializes in business
astrology.
She's also a digital nomad,traveling the world and enjoying

Barcelona.

I'm so happy to be here.

So I was just saying to Kate, this is perfect timing
for us to be talking about astrocartography, because I've
literally spent the last weekbeing like where the hell shall
we live?
Because LA is on fire and Idon't know what the future holds
, even though I absolutely loveliving there.
And, you know, thought I was inmy settling down phase of life,
I thought I was retiring as adigital nomad and I was just

going to, you know, be ahomebody and lean into my
tourist North node and, you know, build a beautiful home, pop
out some babies and be focusedon local community.
But here I am recording this inMontreal.
I just came back from Torontoand I'm back.
I'm back into picking up mylaptop, booking a flight and
just whizzing around the worldand I'm not complaining.
(02:11):
I'm not complaining Like I dolove to travel, obviously, you
know I love and I'm so gratefulthat I have so many amazing
friends and family all acrossthe world who will welcome me in
with my suitcase when I want tocome and, um, yeah, escape the
mayhem in the US.
So, kate, tell us how did youget into astrology and astro
(02:33):
cartography?
Speaker 2 (02:34):
and, yeah, living the digital nomad life as an
entrepreneur yeah, and actuallycan I say first of all, I'm
really sorry that you had tomove and I can so relate to that
.
I can so relate because I'malso in a phase where I'm so
ready to settle.
And yet you know as much as Ilove Barcelona and now that I do
(02:57):
astrocotography, I mean, I'vebeen looking at my map for the
past year or two and the realityis it is not the best place for
me and I really tried to resistit and be like, no, but I love
it so much and I have my lifehere.
But then every time I come backit just doesn't feel good, it
just doesn't, and it's like youcan resist life or you can just
(03:21):
flow with it.
So if the universe tells you,no, girl, you gotta move, you
gotta move right, and I have umsagittarius in my fourth house.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
So it you know, and I my numerology.
My life path number is five,which is constant change.
So I realize I'm you know, Imight as well get used to it
yeah, yeah, me too.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Oh, really, you might be burgerizing, right, yeah, oh
, how funny, me too.
So I just have this fourthhouse.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
So I'm curious what is it about your astro
cartography that's notbeneficial in Barcelona.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Yeah, oh my God.
So actually it is aboutrelocated chart and this is
something that usually whenpeople get into astro
cartography.
You can go on astrocom and thisis a free software so you can
start looking at it yourself.
There are main astrophotographylines, so this is already a lot
of information so you can lookwhere your lines are.
(04:15):
So, generally speaking, venusand Jupiter are the most
beneficial lines.
Saturn, neptune, mars might bechallenging, but I am going to
say it is more complicated thanthat, because it really depends
on your chart, on your specificlike.
What is it that your chartshows?
So it is going to be differentfor everybody, but this is a
good start.
(04:35):
And then, on top of that, thereare many other things.
So there are latitude crossingswhich Astrocom is not showing,
and then also, what is veryimportant, is relocated chart.
So you have your natal chart,which is fixed, which never
changes.
However, when you move to adifferent place, your chart
shifts.
So your planets, they are gonnahave the same placements, but
(05:01):
your houses are going to changeand your ascendant is going to
change, so your rising sign isgoing to change, which is which
is massive, because your risingsign is literally how you see
the world.
So it's the lens through whichyou see the world and it's also
how people see you.
So for me in Barcelona,actually like the good thing,
I'm really close to my Mars MCline, which is again some people
(05:22):
say like Mars is challenging,but in my specific case it's
actually.
I have a great Mars, I havegreat aspects, so I love my Mars
and especially Mars MC is greatfor business because I am so
driven, I'm so ambitious, I'mobsessed about my business.
So this is what Mars MC woulddo so like, if you really want
to go for it, it's actually goodto be next to it.
But then in my relocated chartI have a big stellium in
(05:45):
Capricorn, so I have fiveplanets, including Saturn and
Neptune, which are some of themost challenging planets.
And when I moved to Barcelona itmoves to my sixth house, which
is the house of healthday-to-day work routines, and
it's been really challenging.
I mean, I've had so many healthchallenges, like my energy
levels instantly go down whenI'm in Barcelona, and it's like
(06:09):
everything day to day, like themundane tasks.
There's always something comingup and I have to deal with it.
And so it's actually muchharder to focus on my vision and
on my life because I just haveto deal with, you know, little
things, which is okay, but I'vebeen living here in seven years
and like it accumulated a lot.
(06:29):
And I've just come back fromIndia where I've been for three
months and it's been so muchlighter, you know, like there've
been other challenges, but thishas been so much lighter.
And now I'm back and I'm like,oh my God, I think I have to
move.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
Yeah, it's time, yeah , that's so interesting and also
, just you know, consideringthat there are some aspects
which are supportive and thereare some aspects which are not
supportive, which I'm sure goesfor a lot of places Like it was
making me reflect on.
Like Montreal is close to myVenus line.
It's where I met my husband,but I also had some really
(07:03):
intense health issues that beganwhen I was here.
So I'm curious about that tolike look into that now.
So what are you looking for inyour astro cartography when
you're considering where shall Imove next?
Speaker 2 (07:18):
Yeah.
So first of all, I opened themap and I have this you know big
view at the map, and then, whenclients come to me, I always
ask what are your priorities atthe moment?
What is it that you focus on inyour life?
Because, of course, we wanteverything at the same time.
However, it doesn't really workthis way in life, Even when
(07:40):
someone wants success.
Success can represent money,success can represent visibility
and big audience.
Success can represent, you know, many different things.
So even when we talk aboutVenus and Jupiter, they are both
benefits, they are both goodplanets.
Yet Venus is more about money,is more about creativity and
artistry, while Jupiter isliterally like abundance and
(08:03):
expansion.
So they have different tonesand so it really depends on if I
want to focus more onrelationships, if I want to
focus more on business, if Iwant to focus more on money.
I would say it is happenedsometimes that a place might
have kind of like everything,but it's rare and it's also we
(08:24):
rarely focus on everything atthe same time, and when we try,
usually it doesn't work.
Anyone who did you know NewYear's resolutions know that.
So, first of all, it'sunderstanding what is it that
you want right now, what is itthat you want to focus on?
What are your priorities?
And then I look at the map.
So we have 10 different planetsand four different angles.
(08:45):
So each angle will representeither you or your relationships
or your business career.
So, like your, the most visiblepoint, and then also your home
and your roots, and then we haveeach planet.
So each planet line, eachplanetary line, will be repeated
four times because it will bewith these angles.
(09:06):
So, let's say, venus, if it'sVenus ascendant, it's how you
feel.
So when you are on your Venusascendant line, you're feeling
more beautiful, you're feelingmore magnetic, you're feeling
just, you know, more sensual.
It's really nice.
When it's Venus descendant,this is the classic marriage,
honeymoon line, because it isabout relationships.
(09:28):
When it's Venus, as I see, itmeans that you're more focused
on your whole and you want todecorate your home and you just
feel really rooted.
And when it's Venus MC, this isthe money line, because this is
about your career.
So you see, even the sameplanet, depending on angle, it
will show different facets ofthe same energy.
(09:49):
So this is where I am looking at.
Okay, what is it that I want?
I'm finding the planetary line,I'm finding the angle.
So this is the vertical line.
Then we have horizontal lines.
They're called parent lines.
You cannot see them,unfortunately, on free software.
So this is where I come withprofessional software, and so
then I look at the parent linesand for vertical lines, many
(10:12):
stochastic cartography lines.
They have huge area ofinfluence.
It's about 600 miles.
So you will feel this energyfor a very, very big distance.
But when it comes to theselatitude crossings they have
very small area of influence,only about 70 miles.
So you can see that even whenyou're in the same spot, but you
can move 30 miles north orsouth and it will dramatically
(10:35):
change how you feel.
So this is where it becomesmore interesting, because not
everybody is ready to move tothe other side of the world, but
they can move 30 miles north orsouth and it will change the
picture already.
So this is the second step.
And then also there are otherlines.
So there are local space lines,there are aspects.
(10:55):
So for me it's kind of likeputting a puzzle together.
Right, we start with a bigpicture.
What do you want?
Looking at a whole map and thenzoom it in, looking at other
lines and then zoom it in evenmore, looking at other lines.
So usually people come to mealready with a list of places
they're considering, and sowe'll check all of the places
and find the most beneficial.
And then I always love to comewith a surprise place that maybe
(11:19):
people don't consider.
But when I see that somethingis amazing and I see incredible
lines and I'm like, oh my god,you have to go there, maybe not
to move, but maybe to travel.
Or even this, um, distanceactivation, so even when you
connect with people from thosearea, you can activate this
energy.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Oh, my, my God, that's so cool.
Yeah, I love, because obviouslyI'm sure a lot of people who
are listening on just likeplanning on randomly moving
somewhere else in the world.
So I love this idea that youknow thinking of other ways that
you can connect to those placesthrough people, connections,
networking or like trips, youknow, even like choosing to go
on certain retreats to certainplaces.
(12:00):
I think this is such a coolidea and I'm curious I know we
kind of like skipped straightwithout really like diving into
your story, so I'm like curiouswhere in your um, you know,
journey of entrepreneurship didyou discover astro cartography
and how has that influenced someof the moves that you've made,
(12:21):
because I know you've moved manytimes yeah, yeah, so I have
discovered it a couple of yearsago, so it's about two years.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
I mean.
I've been doing astrologylonger, but this is when I
started specializing in astrocartography.
So first of all, I looked atall of the previous places where
I've been, where I traveled,where I lived, and I and I was
like, oh my God, like my life.
I felt like it was the lastmissing piece, because it felt
like, oh my God, my life finallymakes sense.
(12:50):
Now I understand why I felt theway I felt in those places, why
certain things happen incertain places.
I was like, oh my God.
And I recently had a client whowas also like just traveled.
After our session she was likeI really felt it, I need to take
it seriously because it reallyworks.
And I'm like, oh my God, yes.
And so after this I mean rightnow this is another reason why
(13:11):
it's hard for me to settle,because I'm just so curious to
keep traveling on my differentlines and just to see how it
affects me, how I feel, becauseit's one thing to know it in
theory and then it's anotherthing to go and experience it
for yourself, so like there's ahuge part of me that is
extremely curious.
So since then I've beentraveling to different places,
(13:32):
to different lines, and I meanone thing how it affected me
probably the most becausethere's also like this fixed map
and then there are alsotransits.
So just the same way as we havetransit in planets in our NATO
chart, we have transits goingthrough our map.
It's the same thing.
(13:52):
So, as an entrepreneur like Ireally love Jupiter transit
because when Jupiter, especiallyJupiter MC, is transiting over
the area where you live, thismeans huge expansion.
So when it was transiting overBarcelona last year no two, like
one year and a half ago thiswas literally what I experienced
(14:15):
the biggest expansion in mybusiness.
So I just had huge influx ofclients, I increased my prices,
but it really felt like such ahuge level up of my entire
business.
It was like boom, you know,expansion.
And when I felt it, I'm almostnow kind of like addicted to
this energy and you canliterally follow your Jupiter
(14:37):
transit because you can keepmoving as it's moving.
And I mean, of course it's notalways possible, but I am
already planning a trip inSeptember to go to my Jupiter
transit and then maybe to go toit at least once a year just to
keep experiencing this expansion.
And I have also other examplesfrom my clients who receive
(15:01):
incredible opportunities whenthey are at a place where
Jupiter is transiting,especially if it's your Jupiter
return or it makes an aspect toyour Jupiter.
So this is one example how itaffected me hugely, absolutely.
And then what would be someother examples?
I mean right now, like this pastyear, I've been going through
(15:24):
my own immigration journey, so Iwas not able to travel as much
as I wanted to, so I've beenmainly going in Europe.
So it hasn't been that much ofa difference, but there was
still a huge difference, youknow.
So, like I would go to mylatitude process with the sun
and I would get more visiblewhen I'm there, for example, or
(15:45):
even Saturn.
So, like, many people areafraid of the Saturn lines, but
actually Saturn bringsdiscipline and structure.
So when I know that, oh my God,I need to get shit done and I
just need to do a lot of work, Iwould go to Saturn line or
Saturnitudes crossing and yes,maybe it's more challenging, but
also it forces me to get workdone.
(16:07):
So this is another thing thatI've played with and now that,
yeah, like my, my, thisimmigration story is over.
I can travel more.
I have more freedom.
So, like this year, I'mplanning already so many trips
and next year to go further tolike different lines and also,
as I said, my um, uh, relocatedchart shifts.
(16:30):
So this is actually one of myfavorite things to play with,
because when you're risingchanges, it literally changes
how you view the world.
So I've just just been in India, for example, where I became
liberal rising and I wasobsessed about relationships,
which I'm not.
I was just constantly like Iwanted to be around other people
(16:50):
.
So this is something you canplay with, like do you want to
focus more on relationships?
Do you want to be more focused?
Like my next trip is going tobe where I'm going to be Scorpio
, rising, because I really wantto focus on my work.
So I'm so excited, I'm solooking forward.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
Um, yeah, okay, I'm obsessed with this idea of
following your transit aroundthe world.
It's fully kicking my travelbug back into high gear again.
I'm always like who am Ikidding?
Like I don want.
I just don't want to travel asmuch anymore.
I'm like stop lying to yourself, sarah.
Oh, my God, I love that.
Okay, so tell us more.
(17:28):
So you've told us that yourJupiter transit can bring
expansion and abundance, thatyour sun lines can bring more
visibility.
Saturn can bring more structureand discipline.
That's something that I found.
La is close to my Saturn lineand I've been like so focused on
creating structure and systemsin my business, which is
(17:52):
historically, something I'vereally struggled with and it has
been challenging for me, butI've just like brought in all
the support and I'm doing it andI'm like I know this is gonna
set me up for like whole otherlevels of success and stability,
so I'm actually loving it andit feels really, really good.
Um, also, we're trying for ababy at the moment and Saturn
(18:12):
rules Capricorn, which is myfifth house, so I'm like, oh,
it's actually a good place forus right now.
So tell us, like, what else canwe look out for that will be
supportive for business andmaking money?
Speaker 2 (18:26):
Yeah, so Venus rules money.
So, especially if it's Venus MC, it's about money, it's about
your career.
So this is another transit thatis super, super nice.
I mean, I'm also going to saythat like the correct way to
look at it.
It's not just the lines thatare passing through an area,
it's also these lines are goingto apply to your native lines,
(18:50):
right?
So it's like you already havelines in place and then so, like
Jupiter over Jupiter, forexample, is gonna bring huge
expansion, and then Venus,depending on what it applies to.
So if it's Venus over Jupiter,oh my God, so much.
Yeah, like luck and money and,depending on the line, can also
be love.
But then if it's Venus applyingto your Pluto, for example,
(19:15):
that can bring the element ofobsession and that can bring
jealousy, that can bringobsession about your
relationships.
So it's not just the line, it'salso like what it applies to in
your natal chart.
But, generally speaking, venuswill bring some really nice
stuff.
Mars Mars is about drive,ambition.
(19:37):
It's also about aggression andfrustration.
So every energy, as youprobably know, every planet.
It has high expression, lowexpression, and you can always
lean towards one or another.
Uh, but usually when, like whenmars comes again, depending on
which angle.
So if it's descendant, it'sabout relationships I see it
again and again there will be,you know, some difficult
(20:01):
situations with relationships.
I just had a client who had somany fights with her roommates
and she was like what's going on?
We just cannot agree onanything.
There are fights and everything.
And I see Mars descendantpassing, and that's it.
But it's a great opportunityfor you also to work on your
(20:21):
issues, for them, to see how yourelate with that.
And then what is probably likevery relatable to entrepreneurs
is Mercury transits.
Mercury is amazing.
It's about communication, it'sabout connections, it's about
media, it's about speaking,writing.
So whenever there's Mercurytransit, it brings up this.
(20:43):
But then again, if it's passingover Mars, for example, this
can be too much, because both ofthem are such fast energies.
So it can bring nervousness, itcan bring anxiety, it can bring
problems with sleep, but at thesame time it will bring so much
inspiration and ideas.
So it's kind of this time whenyou're just nonstop creating and
(21:05):
putting things out there andyou know so it's like this is
when being aware of these thingshelp.
Because when this happens andyou're like, oh my God, I have
so many ideas, but also I cannotsleep.
What's going on?
But when you know that it'scoming, you're like, okay, I
just need to take more care ofmy sleep and, you know, meditate
more, do more practices so thatI keep myself grounded and I
(21:29):
don't make myself wrong for this, because I know that it's about
the transit and this is what'shappening.
So, yeah, I mean there are alsothe last one.
I mean I can talk about itforever, but the last one I'll
mention here, which is veryrelated to digital nomads, it's
Uranus transits, especiallyUranus IC, because Uranus is
(21:49):
about surprises, it's aboutsomething exciting, it's about
change and surprise and shock,and IC it's about roots and
whole.
So very often and I see itagain, like again and again,
when a Uranus IC transit iscoming to an area, this is when
people start feeling the travelbug and they feel uprooted and
(22:10):
they feel like, oh my God, maybeI should move, maybe like I
don't feel settled anymore.
So this is, and if you leaveclose to Uranus IC line, this
means that it's just yourdestiny, like you, you, you
always going, gonna feel alittle bit uprooted, a little
bit like you wanna.
Maybe it's your base, but youtravel all the time and then
(22:31):
when it's a transit that'scoming over your area, this is
very often when people move, orthey think about moving or they
just feel restless.
So, uh, yeah, that's anotherone.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
I I see often and I love what you said about how you
can work with a challengingplacement or a challenging
transit, and that's just myfavorite thing about astrology
is that it brings so muchself-awareness and it brings so
much self-compassion around thethings that we can change and
also how to just better supportourselves with the things that
(23:03):
we can't change.
Right, because I'm sure there'sa ton of people who you know
aren't in a position where theycan just uproot their life and
move or they don't want to dothat.
But obviously, having thisawareness of specific transits
that obviously aren't permanent,but also knowing like
understanding, about thequalities of their, where they
(23:23):
are and you know what's at playin terms of their astro, astro
cartography, you can kind ofdevelop strategies and lean into
kind of like your saturnplacement, right.
It's like you know you're goingto be getting lessons or you'll
know you're going to bechallenged in certain ways.
So that's an opportunity for somuch growth and to build skill
and to build support aroundthose things so that you can
(23:45):
deal with those challenges andthey can become less challenging
.
So, yeah, I love that.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Absolutely, absolutely.
And this is, yeah, like what Ibecause I combine my sessions
with coaching, so we very oftengo through like what the person
is going through and then howthey can best use this energy
because, as I said, every energyhas two sides in it.
So let's take Neptune, forexample it can lead to addiction
(24:15):
and withdrawal and isolation,but it's also the most spiritual
one and so like I just saw ityesterday in a client session,
so like and she was strugglingwith feeling lost, with brain
fog, and I'm like, yeah, but atthe same time, it makes you so
much more intuitive and you canchannel things.
And she's like, yeah,absolutely.
So I'm like, use that in thatway Instead of going into
(24:40):
addiction, instead of going towithdrawal.
How can you use that energy forthe benefit of yourself and
others?
Because when you lean into that, there's going to be less
energy for that.
So it's, yeah, like, beingaware, understanding this energy
, we can use it for a benefitinstead of letting it, you know,
destroy our lives.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Right, it's having that awareness of what is the
highest expression of thatplacement and what is the shadow
expression and like where areyou on that spectrum and what
does it look like?
Speaker 2 (25:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
And what makes it easier for you to lean into the
higher octaves of that, thatparticular energy.
Okay, well, I could talk tothis.
I could talk to you about thisfor hours.
I'm obsessed.

So I was just saying to Kate, this is perfect timing
for us to be talking about astrocartography, because I've
literally spent the last weekbeing like where the hell shall
we live?
Because LA is on fire and Idon't know what the future holds
, even though I absolutely loveliving there.
And, you know, thought I was inmy settling down phase of life,
I thought I was retiring as adigital nomad and I was just
(01:49):
going to, you know, be ahomebody and lean into my
tourist North node and, you know, build a beautiful home, pop
out some babies and be focusedon local community.
But here I am recording this inMontreal.
I just came back from Torontoand I'm back.
I'm back into picking up mylaptop, booking a flight and
just whizzing around the worldand I'm not complaining.
(02:11):
I'm not complaining Like I dolove to travel, obviously, you
know I love and I'm so gratefulthat I have so many amazing
friends and family all acrossthe world who will welcome me in
with my suitcase when I want tocome and, um, yeah, escape the
mayhem in the US.
So, kate, tell us how did youget into astrology and astro
(02:33):
cartography?
Speaker 2 (02:34):
and, yeah, living the digital nomad life as an
entrepreneur yeah, and actuallycan I say first of all, I'm
really sorry that you had tomove and I can so relate to that
.
I can so relate because I'malso in a phase where I'm so
ready to settle.
And yet you know as much as Ilove Barcelona and now that I do
(02:57):
astrocotography, I mean, I'vebeen looking at my map for the
past year or two and the realityis it is not the best place for
me and I really tried to resistit and be like, no, but I love
it so much and I have my lifehere.
But then every time I come backit just doesn't feel good, it
just doesn't, and it's like youcan resist life or you can just
(03:21):
flow with it.
So if the universe tells you,no, girl, you gotta move, you
gotta move right, and I have umsagittarius in my fourth house.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
So it you know, and I my numerology.
My life path number is five,which is constant change.
So I realize I'm you know, Imight as well get used to it
yeah, yeah, me too.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Oh, really, you might be burgerizing, right, yeah, oh
, how funny, me too.
So I just have this fourthhouse.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
So I'm curious what is it about your astro
cartography that's notbeneficial in Barcelona.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Yeah, oh my God.
So actually it is aboutrelocated chart and this is
something that usually whenpeople get into astro
cartography.
You can go on astrocom and thisis a free software so you can
start looking at it yourself.
There are main astrophotographylines, so this is already a lot
of information so you can lookwhere your lines are.
(04:15):
So, generally speaking, venusand Jupiter are the most
beneficial lines.
Saturn, neptune, mars might bechallenging, but I am going to
say it is more complicated thanthat, because it really depends
on your chart, on your specificlike.
What is it that your chartshows?
So it is going to be differentfor everybody, but this is a
good start.
(04:35):
And then, on top of that, thereare many other things.
So there are latitude crossingswhich Astrocom is not showing,
and then also, what is veryimportant, is relocated chart.
So you have your natal chart,which is fixed, which never
changes.
However, when you move to adifferent place, your chart
shifts.
So your planets, they are gonnahave the same placements, but
(05:01):
your houses are going to changeand your ascendant is going to
change, so your rising sign isgoing to change, which is which
is massive, because your risingsign is literally how you see
the world.
So it's the lens through whichyou see the world and it's also
how people see you.
So for me in Barcelona,actually like the good thing,
I'm really close to my Mars MCline, which is again some people
(05:22):
say like Mars is challenging,but in my specific case it's
actually.
I have a great Mars, I havegreat aspects, so I love my Mars
and especially Mars MC is greatfor business because I am so
driven, I'm so ambitious, I'mobsessed about my business.
So this is what Mars MC woulddo so like, if you really want
to go for it, it's actually goodto be next to it.
But then in my relocated chartI have a big stellium in
(05:45):
Capricorn, so I have fiveplanets, including Saturn and
Neptune, which are some of themost challenging planets.
And when I moved to Barcelona itmoves to my sixth house, which
is the house of healthday-to-day work routines, and
it's been really challenging.
I mean, I've had so many healthchallenges, like my energy
levels instantly go down whenI'm in Barcelona, and it's like
(06:09):
everything day to day, like themundane tasks.
There's always something comingup and I have to deal with it.
And so it's actually muchharder to focus on my vision and
on my life because I just haveto deal with, you know, little
things, which is okay, but I'vebeen living here in seven years
and like it accumulated a lot.
(06:29):
And I've just come back fromIndia where I've been for three
months and it's been so muchlighter, you know, like there've
been other challenges, but thishas been so much lighter.
And now I'm back and I'm like,oh my God, I think I have to
move.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
Yeah, it's time, yeah , that's so interesting and also
, just you know, consideringthat there are some aspects
which are supportive and thereare some aspects which are not
supportive, which I'm sure goesfor a lot of places Like it was
making me reflect on.
Like Montreal is close to myVenus line.
It's where I met my husband,but I also had some really
(07:03):
intense health issues that beganwhen I was here.
So I'm curious about that tolike look into that now.
So what are you looking for inyour astro cartography when
you're considering where shall Imove next?
Speaker 2 (07:18):
Yeah.
So first of all, I opened themap and I have this you know big
view at the map, and then, whenclients come to me, I always
ask what are your priorities atthe moment?
What is it that you focus on inyour life?
Because, of course, we wanteverything at the same time.
However, it doesn't really workthis way in life, Even when
(07:40):
someone wants success.
Success can represent money,success can represent visibility
and big audience.
Success can represent, you know, many different things.
So even when we talk aboutVenus and Jupiter, they are both
benefits, they are both goodplanets.
Yet Venus is more about money,is more about creativity and
artistry, while Jupiter isliterally like abundance and
(08:03):
expansion.
So they have different tonesand so it really depends on if I
want to focus more onrelationships, if I want to
focus more on business, if Iwant to focus more on money.
I would say it is happenedsometimes that a place might
have kind of like everything,but it's rare and it's also we
(08:24):
rarely focus on everything atthe same time, and when we try,
usually it doesn't work.
Anyone who did you know NewYear's resolutions know that.
So, first of all, it'sunderstanding what is it that
you want right now, what is itthat you want to focus on?
What are your priorities?
And then I look at the map.
So we have 10 different planetsand four different angles.
(08:45):
So each angle will representeither you or your relationships
or your business career.
So, like your, the most visiblepoint, and then also your home
and your roots, and then we haveeach planet.
So each planet line, eachplanetary line, will be repeated
four times because it will bewith these angles.
(09:06):
So, let's say, venus, if it'sVenus ascendant, it's how you
feel.
So when you are on your Venusascendant line, you're feeling
more beautiful, you're feelingmore magnetic, you're feeling
just, you know, more sensual.
It's really nice.
When it's Venus descendant,this is the classic marriage,
honeymoon line, because it isabout relationships.
(09:28):
When it's Venus, as I see, itmeans that you're more focused
on your whole and you want todecorate your home and you just
feel really rooted.
And when it's Venus MC, this isthe money line, because this is
about your career.
So you see, even the sameplanet, depending on angle, it
will show different facets ofthe same energy.
(09:49):
So this is where I am looking at.
Okay, what is it that I want?
I'm finding the planetary line,I'm finding the angle.
So this is the vertical line.
Then we have horizontal lines.
They're called parent lines.
You cannot see them,unfortunately, on free software.
So this is where I come withprofessional software, and so
then I look at the parent linesand for vertical lines, many
(10:12):
stochastic cartography lines.
They have huge area ofinfluence.
It's about 600 miles.
So you will feel this energyfor a very, very big distance.
But when it comes to theselatitude crossings they have
very small area of influence,only about 70 miles.
So you can see that even whenyou're in the same spot, but you
can move 30 miles north orsouth and it will dramatically
(10:35):
change how you feel.
So this is where it becomesmore interesting, because not
everybody is ready to move tothe other side of the world, but
they can move 30 miles north orsouth and it will change the
picture already.
So this is the second step.
And then also there are otherlines.
So there are local space lines,there are aspects.
(10:55):
So for me it's kind of likeputting a puzzle together.
Right, we start with a bigpicture.
What do you want?
Looking at a whole map and thenzoom it in, looking at other
lines and then zoom it in evenmore, looking at other lines.
So usually people come to mealready with a list of places
they're considering, and sowe'll check all of the places
and find the most beneficial.
And then I always love to comewith a surprise place that maybe
(11:19):
people don't consider.
But when I see that somethingis amazing and I see incredible
lines and I'm like, oh my god,you have to go there, maybe not
to move, but maybe to travel.
Or even this, um, distanceactivation, so even when you
connect with people from thosearea, you can activate this
energy.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Oh, my, my God, that's so cool.
Yeah, I love, because obviouslyI'm sure a lot of people who
are listening on just likeplanning on randomly moving
somewhere else in the world.
So I love this idea that youknow thinking of other ways that
you can connect to those placesthrough people, connections,
networking or like trips, youknow, even like choosing to go
on certain retreats to certainplaces.
(12:00):
I think this is such a coolidea and I'm curious I know we
kind of like skipped straightwithout really like diving into
your story, so I'm like curiouswhere in your um, you know,
journey of entrepreneurship didyou discover astro cartography
and how has that influenced someof the moves that you've made,
(12:21):
because I know you've moved manytimes yeah, yeah, so I have
discovered it a couple of yearsago, so it's about two years.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
I mean.
I've been doing astrologylonger, but this is when I
started specializing in astrocartography.
So first of all, I looked atall of the previous places where
I've been, where I traveled,where I lived, and I and I was
like, oh my God, like my life.
I felt like it was the lastmissing piece, because it felt
like, oh my God, my life finallymakes sense.
(12:50):
Now I understand why I felt theway I felt in those places, why
certain things happen incertain places.
I was like, oh my God.
And I recently had a client whowas also like just traveled.
After our session she was likeI really felt it, I need to take
it seriously because it reallyworks.
And I'm like, oh my God, yes.
And so after this I mean rightnow this is another reason why
(13:11):
it's hard for me to settle,because I'm just so curious to
keep traveling on my differentlines and just to see how it
affects me, how I feel, becauseit's one thing to know it in
theory and then it's anotherthing to go and experience it
for yourself, so like there's ahuge part of me that is
extremely curious.
So since then I've beentraveling to different places,
(13:32):
to different lines, and I meanone thing how it affected me
probably the most becausethere's also like this fixed map
and then there are alsotransits.
So just the same way as we havetransit in planets in our NATO
chart, we have transits goingthrough our map.
It's the same thing.
(13:52):
So, as an entrepreneur like Ireally love Jupiter transit
because when Jupiter, especiallyJupiter MC, is transiting over
the area where you live, thismeans huge expansion.
So when it was transiting overBarcelona last year no two, like
one year and a half ago thiswas literally what I experienced
(14:15):
the biggest expansion in mybusiness.
So I just had huge influx ofclients, I increased my prices,
but it really felt like such ahuge level up of my entire
business.
It was like boom, you know,expansion.
And when I felt it, I'm almostnow kind of like addicted to
this energy and you canliterally follow your Jupiter
(14:37):
transit because you can keepmoving as it's moving.
And I mean, of course it's notalways possible, but I am
already planning a trip inSeptember to go to my Jupiter
transit and then maybe to go toit at least once a year just to
keep experiencing this expansion.
And I have also other examplesfrom my clients who receive
(15:01):
incredible opportunities whenthey are at a place where
Jupiter is transiting,especially if it's your Jupiter
return or it makes an aspect toyour Jupiter.
So this is one example how itaffected me hugely, absolutely.
And then what would be someother examples?
I mean right now, like this pastyear, I've been going through
(15:24):
my own immigration journey, so Iwas not able to travel as much
as I wanted to, so I've beenmainly going in Europe.
So it hasn't been that much ofa difference, but there was
still a huge difference, youknow.
So, like I would go to mylatitude process with the sun
and I would get more visiblewhen I'm there, for example, or
(15:45):
even Saturn.
So, like, many people areafraid of the Saturn lines, but
actually Saturn bringsdiscipline and structure.
So when I know that, oh my God,I need to get shit done and I
just need to do a lot of work, Iwould go to Saturn line or
Saturnitudes crossing and yes,maybe it's more challenging, but
also it forces me to get workdone.
(16:07):
So this is another thing thatI've played with and now that,
yeah, like my, my, thisimmigration story is over.
I can travel more.
I have more freedom.
So, like this year, I'mplanning already so many trips
and next year to go further tolike different lines and also,
as I said, my um, uh, relocatedchart shifts.
(16:30):
So this is actually one of myfavorite things to play with,
because when you're risingchanges, it literally changes
how you view the world.
So I've just just been in India, for example, where I became
liberal rising and I wasobsessed about relationships,
which I'm not.
I was just constantly like Iwanted to be around other people
(16:50):
.
So this is something you canplay with, like do you want to
focus more on relationships?
Do you want to be more focused?
Like my next trip is going tobe where I'm going to be Scorpio
, rising, because I really wantto focus on my work.
So I'm so excited, I'm solooking forward.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
Um, yeah, okay, I'm obsessed with this idea of
following your transit aroundthe world.
It's fully kicking my travelbug back into high gear again.
I'm always like who am Ikidding?
Like I don want.
I just don't want to travel asmuch anymore.
I'm like stop lying to yourself, sarah.
Oh, my God, I love that.
Okay, so tell us more.
(17:28):
So you've told us that yourJupiter transit can bring
expansion and abundance, thatyour sun lines can bring more
visibility.
Saturn can bring more structureand discipline.
That's something that I found.
La is close to my Saturn lineand I've been like so focused on
creating structure and systemsin my business, which is
(17:52):
historically, something I'vereally struggled with and it has
been challenging for me, butI've just like brought in all
the support and I'm doing it andI'm like I know this is gonna
set me up for like whole otherlevels of success and stability,
so I'm actually loving it andit feels really, really good.
Um, also, we're trying for ababy at the moment and Saturn
(18:12):
rules Capricorn, which is myfifth house, so I'm like, oh,
it's actually a good place forus right now.
So tell us, like, what else canwe look out for that will be
supportive for business andmaking money?
Speaker 2 (18:26):
Yeah, so Venus rules money.
So, especially if it's Venus MC, it's about money, it's about
your career.
So this is another transit thatis super, super nice.
I mean, I'm also going to saythat like the correct way to
look at it.
It's not just the lines thatare passing through an area,
it's also these lines are goingto apply to your native lines,
(18:50):
right?
So it's like you already havelines in place and then so, like
Jupiter over Jupiter, forexample, is gonna bring huge
expansion, and then Venus,depending on what it applies to.
So if it's Venus over Jupiter,oh my God, so much.
Yeah, like luck and money and,depending on the line, can also
be love.
But then if it's Venus applyingto your Pluto, for example,
(19:15):
that can bring the element ofobsession and that can bring
jealousy, that can bringobsession about your
relationships.
So it's not just the line, it'salso like what it applies to in
your natal chart.
But, generally speaking, venuswill bring some really nice
stuff.
Mars Mars is about drive,ambition.
(19:37):
It's also about aggression andfrustration.
So every energy, as youprobably know, every planet.
It has high expression, lowexpression, and you can always
lean towards one or another.
Uh, but usually when, like whenmars comes again, depending on
which angle.
So if it's descendant, it'sabout relationships I see it
again and again there will be,you know, some difficult
(20:01):
situations with relationships.
I just had a client who had somany fights with her roommates
and she was like what's going on?
We just cannot agree onanything.
There are fights and everything.
And I see Mars descendantpassing, and that's it.
But it's a great opportunityfor you also to work on your
(20:21):
issues, for them, to see how yourelate with that.
And then what is probably likevery relatable to entrepreneurs
is Mercury transits.
Mercury is amazing.
It's about communication, it'sabout connections, it's about
media, it's about speaking,writing.
So whenever there's Mercurytransit, it brings up this.
(20:43):
But then again, if it's passingover Mars, for example, this
can be too much, because both ofthem are such fast energies.
So it can bring nervousness, itcan bring anxiety, it can bring
problems with sleep, but at thesame time it will bring so much
inspiration and ideas.
So it's kind of this time whenyou're just nonstop creating and
(21:05):
putting things out there andyou know so it's like this is
when being aware of these thingshelp.
Because when this happens andyou're like, oh my God, I have
so many ideas, but also I cannotsleep.
What's going on?
But when you know that it'scoming, you're like, okay, I
just need to take more care ofmy sleep and, you know, meditate
more, do more practices so thatI keep myself grounded and I
(21:29):
don't make myself wrong for this, because I know that it's about
the transit and this is what'shappening.
So, yeah, I mean there are alsothe last one.
I mean I can talk about itforever, but the last one I'll
mention here, which is veryrelated to digital nomads, it's
Uranus transits, especiallyUranus IC, because Uranus is
(21:49):
about surprises, it's aboutsomething exciting, it's about
change and surprise and shock,and IC it's about roots and
whole.
So very often and I see itagain, like again and again,
when a Uranus IC transit iscoming to an area, this is when
people start feeling the travelbug and they feel uprooted and
(22:10):
they feel like, oh my God, maybeI should move, maybe like I
don't feel settled anymore.
So this is, and if you leaveclose to Uranus IC line, this
means that it's just yourdestiny, like you, you, you
always going, gonna feel alittle bit uprooted, a little
bit like you wanna.
Maybe it's your base, but youtravel all the time and then
(22:31):
when it's a transit that'scoming over your area, this is
very often when people move, orthey think about moving or they
just feel restless.
So, uh, yeah, that's anotherone.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
I I see often and I love what you said about how you
can work with a challengingplacement or a challenging
transit, and that's just myfavorite thing about astrology
is that it brings so muchself-awareness and it brings so
much self-compassion around thethings that we can change and
also how to just better supportourselves with the things that
(23:03):
we can't change.
Right, because I'm sure there'sa ton of people who you know
aren't in a position where theycan just uproot their life and
move or they don't want to dothat.
But obviously, having thisawareness of specific transits
that obviously aren't permanent,but also knowing like
understanding, about thequalities of their, where they
(23:23):
are and you know what's at playin terms of their astro, astro
cartography, you can kind ofdevelop strategies and lean into
kind of like your saturnplacement, right.
It's like you know you're goingto be getting lessons or you'll
know you're going to bechallenged in certain ways.
So that's an opportunity for somuch growth and to build skill
and to build support aroundthose things so that you can
(23:45):
deal with those challenges andthey can become less challenging
.
So, yeah, I love that.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Absolutely, absolutely.
And this is, yeah, like what Ibecause I combine my sessions
with coaching, so we very oftengo through like what the person
is going through and then howthey can best use this energy
because, as I said, every energyhas two sides in it.
So let's take Neptune, forexample it can lead to addiction
(24:15):
and withdrawal and isolation,but it's also the most spiritual
one and so like I just saw ityesterday in a client session,
so like and she was strugglingwith feeling lost, with brain
fog, and I'm like, yeah, but atthe same time, it makes you so
much more intuitive and you canchannel things.
And she's like, yeah,absolutely.
So I'm like, use that in thatway Instead of going into
(24:40):
addiction, instead of going towithdrawal.
How can you use that energy forthe benefit of yourself and
others?
Because when you lean into that, there's going to be less
energy for that.
So it's, yeah, like, beingaware, understanding this energy
, we can use it for a benefitinstead of letting it, you know,
destroy our lives.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Right, it's having that awareness of what is the
highest expression of thatplacement and what is the shadow
expression and like where areyou on that spectrum and what
does it look like?
Speaker 2 (25:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
And what makes it easier for you to lean into the
higher octaves of that, thatparticular energy.
Okay, well, I could talk tothis.
I could talk to you about thisfor hours.
I'm obsessed.
