and fun ways, while building asix-figure income as a writer
and coach, helping other womento launch their dream businesses
, I've connected with so manyincredible people and seen it
(00:34):
proven again and again that youcan thrive financially doing
whatever it is you arepassionate about.
I'm here to share life-changingstrategies for mindset, making
money and reaching more peoplewith your work in a business and
life filled with creativity, freedom and fun.
Hi, sarah Muck here, andwelcome back to the Creative
(01:02):
Magic Club podcast.
We're going to continue doing adeep dive on uncovering and
understanding our relationshipwith money so that we can make
more and so that we can do it inthe ways that we fucking want
to.
And a topic that has emergedthis week that I want to dive
into is the importance ofunderstanding the deep and
(01:26):
nuanced layers of overcomingimposter syndrome so that we can
make more money.
This is something that I thinkwe're always going to experience
in entrepreneurship, right, because whenever we want growth,
whenever we want to besomewhere different than where
we are now.
It's going to involve a levelof getting really freaking
(01:48):
uncomfortable, coming up againstour perceptions of our identity
.
So we're in this continual likea death and rebirth process in
our identity because that's thelevel that has to shift first
before we start to see ourexternal world results shift.
You can't believe, I'm notdeserving of that, I'm not
(02:10):
capable of that and then go andtake the actions to create the
thing.
We first have to create thatshift on the inside.
And I went to the Living Braveevent with Shoshana Raven last
week in Denver and I got to seeAmanda Francis on stage, who has
(02:35):
been a huge influence on mylife and my work, not because I
directly worked with her, because I worked with a lot of
her clients which I then laterdiscovered oh, a lot of the
things that had been lifechanging for them, that they had
passed on to me.
They had actually got throughAmanda Francis's work with
belief and faith and shifting toa more empowered relationship
(02:58):
with money, which is really herzone of genius.
She really brought thisconversation and the tools to
shift our mindset andrelationship with money.
That actually has become thefoundation of all of the results
that I created in my businessand that I have helped clients
with.
And I actually bumped into herat the airport on the flight
home and I couldn't not tell herhow cool it was that her
(03:23):
clients had helped me makehundreds of thousands of dollars
and I had helped my clientsmake hundreds of thousands of
dollars.
And I didn't even work with her.
I did one of her bundles.
But I was like I hope thathappens to me someday and how
cool is that?
Right To know that our work ishaving ripple effects.
(03:44):
And this really ties in to theconversation that I'm always
having with clients, which iswhat is our highest value offer?
Right, like, what is ourhighest value contribution?
What is the biggest impact thatwe're actually capable of
making on the people in ourcommunity right now?
Because that's where we want tofocus on, because not only will
(04:05):
that help us accelerate ourbusiness and create more
financial success for us, but itwill have the biggest ripple
effect on our community.
It'll create the biggest impact.
And I feel like these are wordsthat are thrown around a lot, to
the extent that they kind oflose their meaning, but when you
think about it in these micromoments like this, like holy
shit, this woman's work has madehundreds of thousands of
(04:26):
dollars for people and touchedlives that she never even knew
about.
Like that is that's reallyfucking cool, right?
I think so often asentrepreneurs, we're just in our
little bubble at home, on ourlaptop, on our phone, creating
content, sharing conversationsthat we think are important, and
I've had a week of just havinga lot of conversations with a
(04:47):
lot of people.
I just did my in-person eventin Venice, here in LA, having
conversations with friends, andyou know we often find ourselves
sharing these repetitivesoundbites, and so when we catch
ourselves repeating ourselves, that's when we know we've landed
on our message right.
That's when you know that whatyou're talking about is really
(05:09):
important and it has thepotential to impact people,
because you wouldn't feel likesharing it if you didn't.
And this comes from a quoteactually from Amanda when she
was on stage, which I lovedwhich is new level, same fucking
(05:29):
devil.
You know you hear people saynew level, new devil, like the
higher the level you reach,it'll just come with its own set
of problems.
But she was like no, it's thesame things.
And I agree with her.
Particularly when it comes tomaking money as women, as
creators or as minorityidentities.
It always comes back to theworth conversation, and this is
(05:51):
what I mean by imposter syndrome, right?
It's that little internalnarrative of I'm not good enough
, or what if I'm not good enoughor isn't working, because
there's something wrong with me,right?
So I want to bring attention tothis narrative, this complete
and utter, total bullshit, distractory, waste of time
narrative that gets in the way,and to just remind us all, to
(06:13):
remind that little voice insideof us, that this is cultural
conditioning.
We grow up with this, right, wegrow up with this when we live
in a world that continuouslydoes not reflect back to us the
things that we value, right?
Oh, you better get a proper job.
Oh, you better not pursue yourcreativity.
Oh, what you have to say isweird, no one understands you.
(06:34):
Or this isn't peer-reviewed,science-backed and therefore
holds absolutely no value orprestige in our culture.
You don't deserve to be paidmoney for things that you enjoy.
Money is the root of all evil, right?
Like whatever narratives arerattling around internally that
have told us that what we valueand what we desire is wrong, not
(06:59):
good enough, not acceptable ornot possible.
So, in continually having tonavigate through these
narratives, which are absolutelyunique to our socioeconomic
background, gender, culture, youknow, any type of identity that
falls outside of the dominant, and especially as women, our
(07:21):
number one favorite narrative toopt into is what's wrong with
me?
Right, like?
Historically, any emotionalsituation assigned to a woman
was labeled as hysteria.
Right, so, in a culture thathasn't taken seriously our
feelings, our values, ourdesires and really a lot of our
(07:43):
basic needs for just being andexisting, let alone thriving.
So I want to just take a littlemoment for a PSA.
That voice in your head it's notyours.
The voice in your head that'sasking what's wrong with me,
that's suggesting that you don'thave what you want yet because
of something that you've done.
(08:04):
Not your voice, and it's not afreaking helpful voice.
The other voice that creeps in.
That's kind of the you know, the next breath from the what's
wrong with me conversation isthe comparison.
Right, like?
We're continually caught in acomparison loop, especially when
we're online, especially, youknow, I think this starts in
school, right, where we're likeI'm afraid of judgment.
(08:26):
I want to keep myself safe, soI'm going to compare myself to
other people and try toeliminate reasons for people to
judge me, and that's just asurvival mechanism.
And then, once we step intoentrepreneurship, that can play
out.
As you know, our brain willselect these stories to fit that
(08:47):
into the what's wrong with menarrative to make it make sense.
Right, the reason I don't havemy results yet is because I'm
not this or that.
So for me, a big one that usedto hold me back for a long time
was comparing myself to othermentors who did really similar
work to me and I would think, well, why would they hire me
when they could just hire themRight?
(09:08):
And then we look at AmandaFrancis, for example.
When I first discovered her andI realized that my mentors were
working with her, she did notresonate with me Like her voice,
her personality, the way thatshe delivered her work didn't
resonate with me.
And I've seen this with mentorsthat I have hired as well.
Like I discovered them severalyears prior, you know, came
(09:30):
across, some of their contentwas like okay, like not
resonating, and then a couple ofyears down the line, suddenly
they resonate and I can see theshift in their personality, in
their evolution, in their growthin their communication, in
their message, in their offers,in their brand, in their growth
in their communication, in theirmessage, in their offers in
their brand, right.
(09:50):
So this, like having thishindsight, it shows me that
there is the right person at theright time and even if
someone's teaching close to theexact same lessons and education
and program that you might beoffering your clients to solve
their problem, the fact that thereason why people hire you is
because of what, the things thatmake you you, and that
resonance that is there, that isnot there with other people who
(10:11):
are doing similar things.
So this is so important toremember when we fall into that
comparison, right, like, oh well, why should I host retreats
when all of these other coolpeople are already hosting
retreats?
Why should I launch a programon messaging when there's 10
million other people?
That was a really big one forme until I learned that lesson
(10:34):
and until I just, you know, didthe mindset work and committed
to taking the action that led tothe results.
And I, you know I had to makeit work.
Right, you don't go to thestore and are like I can't
believe all of these brands aremaking rice.
You know.
You're like, okay, which brandof rice am I going to pick?
Like, I don't care how manythere are, that makes no
(11:00):
difference to me, obviously, yeah, that just gives me more to
choose from and I'm going tochoose the one that resonates
with me.
It's not a valid reason to notdo what you want to do because
other people are already doingit.
And just knowing that visibility, fear, is real and that's tied
into the woman conditioning, because we have all felt a lack
of safety in our life, right, you've all felt I, maybe I
(11:20):
shouldn't walk down this darkstreet by myself at night, I'm
getting in a cab with a strangedriver.
These are all very real andlegitimate potential threats to
our safety, and so when you livelike that, your system is
continually working to createmore safety for you and becoming
more visible.
(11:41):
It is, and can be, a threat toour sense of emotional security,
even if these people are behinda screen, right?
So just acknowledging that allof these things are going on
behind the surface, like it cantake 15 minutes to put up a
social media post, but we'reworking against centuries of
(12:06):
deep survival programming thatdoesn't feel safe when we show
up and when we allow more peopleto see us.
So this is a big conversation, right, and I think it's so
important to be having on aregular basis to just remind
(12:26):
ourselves that part of ourselvesthat is in resistance.
This is where that resistancecomes from, and that part of us
is the part that we need to bedoing that daily work and
self-nurturing and support tomake it feel easier and safer
and more accessible for us tomake the moves that lead to us
(12:47):
getting paid in the ways that wewant to get paid.
And this is why astrology is so,so powerful in business,
because it can help us toidentify what are the challenges
that we are currently beingserved.
What are those lifetime I don'twant to say weaknesses, but,
yeah challenges?
What are those lifetime growthlessons that we are being
(13:09):
invited into?
You know Chiron is one of myfavorite parts to look at into.
You know Chiron is one of myfavorite parts to look at
because the things that havebeen the hardest for us bring us
the most gold, the mosthard-earned wisdom, and so
understanding those parts of ourchart, like our Chiron
placement, can really help us tobuild confidence in going to
(13:30):
look at those places where wehave felt not good enough or we
felt really insecure, becausethose are the parts of us that
our survival mechanisms areworking overtime to protect.
So when I really understood mychiron, which is in Gemini the
wound of words, of not beingunderstood, of being overlooked,
(13:51):
of feeling invisible orisolated or criticized or judged
, which has shown up in so manydifferent iterations in my life.
When I finally got to see that,as like, oh, this is just my
challenge, this is my growthlesson and to understand how to
connect those threads to whatmakes me so powerful, to be able
(14:15):
to help others move throughthis, because I've been through
it, because I'm still workingthrough layers and layers of
that every damn day, right, likeyour chiron just doesn't.
It's not something thatcompletes.
There's going to be otherlayers, but the more we accept
those growth lessons, the fasterwe build that strength to
overcome bigger and bigger ones, which gives us more and more
(14:37):
power and prevents those thingsthat create a sense of
insecurity to hold us back fromgetting what it is that we want.
So this is a really powerfulplacement to be actively working
, to dive into and to shift andto embody when it comes to
making money, especially ingrowing an online brand.
So if you do want to identifyyour specific patterns around
(15:01):
Chiron and go deeper into thatand looking at how to apply that
to your brand storytelling andyour offer positioning and the
way that you're making money inyour business.
Click the link in my bio to getinstant access to the how to
raise your prices usingastrology to sell high ticket,
my new mini course, which is sofreaking dope.
(15:22):
I'm so excited for you to getyour hands on it.
So the other thing that's beencoming up is thinking about
money as a relationship.
And what are our relationships?
They're our mirrors, right Likeour families, trigger the heck
out of us because they reflectback to us the things that we
haven't accepted withinourselves.
And money is a relationshipthat we are in every single day,
(15:44):
whether you're in avoidance orwhether you've got your hands in
and it's triggering the hellout of you, or whether you're
actively working to nourish itand to nurture it and to shift
the things that don't feel goodand work on your side of the
street so that you are in aharmonious, reciprocal
relationship with money.
So, just like your partner, your lover, your best friends,
(16:08):
your closest family members, your best friends, your closest
family members it's not going tobe a good relationship if you
don't show up for it.
And what creates the best kindof relationship is high quality
communication.
And so how do we communicate tothe best that we can?
I've just had my Saturntransiting my seventh house, so
(16:31):
I've been getting mycommunication lessons.
In my marriage, saturn has beenin Pisces over the last two
years-ish.
Wherever Pisces falls in yourchart, no doubt you have also
been getting some lessons.
If it's been in the seventhhouse, you've been in the same
(16:51):
boat with me and you know, inworking to elevate communication
with my partner, the lessonsthat we've been getting have
been challenges, right.
Where are our communicationgaps?
How are we different?
How do we learn to understandand appreciate each other's
differences?
And what are the bridges thecommunication bridges that allow
us to connect even when we'redifferent, even when we want
different things, even whenthere's a conflict or a lack of
(17:14):
harmony.
And so, thinking about that inour relationship with money,
like what is the communicationthat we're having internally
when it comes to the moneyconversation, when it comes to
our business, when it comes toour client relationships, when
it comes to our belief in ourskills and our abilities?
And this is such an importantmessage that I just cannot
(17:35):
repeat enough you can apply yourcreativity to your relationship
with money.
So you are a creative genius, right?
You have so many ideas, youhave so many visions.
You can pull something out ofnothing, whether that's an
incredible meal, whether that isbirthing a child, whether that
(17:55):
is pulling together anincredible outfit, an insane
offer, a life-changingconversation, a philosophical
concept, a community event.
You are capable of so muchpowerful manifestation.
You can do that same thing withmoney.
So what is the conversationthat you're having with yourself
(18:16):
about yourself and yourcapability, about what's
possible in your industry inalignment with your vision and
your desires?
Where are you negotiatingyourself out of what you really
want?
Where are you settling?
Where do you not believe thatwhat you want is actually
possible right now?
And one of the ways in which wecan understand ourselves best,
(18:40):
particularly in our relationshipwith money, and what our needs
are and how we show up and howwe show up at our best.
And you know what is going tolay the foundation for a
harmonious and a successfulconversation that's going to
lead to feel good outcomes.
That is our Venus placement, soyou can tell from where your
(19:01):
Venus is how you show up as yourbest in your relationship with
money.
So, with my Venus in Cancer, ithas to feel good.
It has to not be about thehustle.
But yet, you know, cancerrepresents the mother.
So that strong mothering energyof like no fucks given, like
(19:22):
I'm going to protect you, I'mgoing to do what needs to be
done, I'm going to make you thepriority, I'm going to treat you
like family but I'm going tonurture you in with the power
that I have, with the utmostpower that I have, but in a way
that protects you and keeps yousafe.
And that is my like energy codearound money.
And that's why clients come tome and not like Gary Vee, you
(19:46):
know, or people who are likehustle and push and sacrifice.
I'm not saying that that's howGary Vee runs his business, but
it's definitely a different vibe.
Right Post five times a day, build a giant empire.
So, understanding what ourenergy signature is in our
(20:09):
relationship with money, ourVenus can give us so much
information about that.
And again, you can go deeper inyour own patterns in your Venus
placement, with specificprompts in my course how to
raise your prices and sell ahigh ticket offer using
astrology.
The link is in the description.
(20:30):
So so okay, let's say we'vecleared all that like bullshit,
imposter syndrome narrative andwe are having more elevated,
nuanced conversations in ourrelationship with money, in our
self-belief in what we believeis possible, giving ourselves
permission to do it in our ownunique way and not trying to
force ourselves to be likesomebody else.
(20:53):
So, if we're not obsessing overwhat's hard, why we're not good
enough, what the problem is,what the gap is, why we're not
as good as this person and thatperson, once we've cleared out
all that noise, whatconversation are we having and
this is the thing that unlockedmy ability to sell high ticket
and to bring in multiplefive-figure launches and months
(21:15):
and six-figure years is whenwe're not talking about what's
wrong, why we're not good enough.
What are we talking about?
We're talking about how bloodyamazing we are.
We're talking about ourstrengths and gifts and we're
obsessively talking about whatwe have to offer right and
considering in entrepreneurship.
We're bombarded with so muchmarketing about the gap right,
(21:39):
about what's wrong and how toclose the gap.
You need this.
You need that.
This is your problem.
This is why you're not gettingthe results.
This is why you're not working.
So this is why we have to bedoing that continual
brainwashing every day Positivemindset, focus on what we want,
obsessing over our strengths andour gifts, leaning into what we
know.
(21:59):
We're good at what we know wedesire and giving ourselves full
permission to believe thatthat's possible.
This is how we create the magic.
We create more opportunities toserve and to receive money in
return for that when we obsessover it.
That is what got me to sixfigures in my business is really
(22:20):
obsessing in this way, in thesethought patterns and creating
these new neural pathways, because who cares what anyone
else is doing when you'reobsessed about how you can help
the client that's in front ofyou right now?
And a really powerful placementfor us to tap into is our
midheaven.
That that is our brand, that isour long term strategy over
(22:43):
tactics.
Because, yes, you can makequick wins, you can create cash
injections, you can do all thestrategies and you can get to a
certain level of impact andsuccess and results, but that is
not going to be the long termsatisfying, fulfilling and
sustainable legacy that you arehere to build.
(23:03):
So, really understanding ourmidheaven placement and
strategically building thestories that we tell, the way we
show up, how we buildrelationships around our work
through the lens of ourmidheaven, that is the key to
long-term sustainable success.
That's going to feel amazing.
So if this conversation isresonating with you and you know
(23:27):
that you are all in on fillingyour high ticket offer this year
.
You're ready to make that yourpriority, to start signing 5k
10k plus clients into an offer, that you're completely obsessed
with the work, so excited anddriven by the impact that you
know you can make on yourcommunity and you're willing to
(23:50):
believe that that is possiblefor you now.
And you're excited about reallyunderstanding and embodying
your astrology chart totranslate that into an online
business strategy to finallyfind the words and the message
(24:10):
and create the content thatcaptures your magic so you can
confidently raise your pricesand attract dream clients and
find the messaging that feelslike you and sells like crazy.
That is exactly the work we doinside the Cosmic Copy
Mastermind, where we are goingto build out your high ticket
(24:30):
offer, your positioning and asustainable content strategy
that fills your offer and reallypositioning you as the best of
the best at what you'regenuinely good at.
And we can find all of thatinformation out in your chart
and that is my zone of genius istranslating that into your
content.
So you naturally have thatconfidence because you are so
(24:52):
connected to what you're trulyfucking good at Not thinking
about what other people aredoing, not looking for all the
reasons why you're not goodenough and it hasn't worked yet
and you can't have it now.
I'm really coming at it withthat support, with the systems
to build the mindset, the brand, the offer, the content and 10k
(25:17):
clients hitting those incomegoals and having so much fun and
freedom in your life, outsideof your business as well as in
your business.
That is the reality that I'vebeen living since I started my
business in 2017.
This is my zone of genius.
I cannot wait to support you inthis.
