for the root cause of thesepatterns in your astrology chart

This year.
So, as of July 2025, instagramshared an update that it's going
(05:35):
to allow posts fromprofessional accounts that are
listed as public to be indexedand displayed in Google search
results.
So what does this mean?
Because you might be thinkingwell, instagram already shows up
on Google, but actually it'sjust the profiles, and that's
why you know, using keywords inyour title and in your bio can
(05:58):
be really helpful for attractingorganic new clients from
organic searches on Instagram.
But now all of the content isactually going to be able to
show up in a Google search.
So you know, now they have thecapacity to detect what you're
saying in videos.
(06:19):
It's going to read theon-screen captions, it's going
to read your captions below and, obviously, hashtags, which
previously helped you show up insearches in Instagram alone.
It's now all going to besearchable, which means you can
show up on Google when somebodysearches for something related
(06:40):
to the content that you'reproducing.
So this is kind of a big deal, because one of the main benefits
of platforms like YouTube andGoogle and I think Pinterest as
well is that they I mean, Idon't know, actually, if
(07:01):
Pinterest is searchable onGoogle, I just know that it has
a lot longer shelf life for thecontent in terms of searches,
and those platforms like YouTubeand Pinterest within themselves
are search engines that peopleare using, like Google, to find
answers to their questions.
So what this really means isyou know we're putting in the
(07:28):
work for an SEO strategy reallypays off is when you start
ranking for keywords actual, anda keyword is really just a word
or a sentence that people areplugging into a search.
So now, because you knowthere's so much high quality
content on Instagram I mean, obviously that's low quality
content on there too, but youknow you can really find answers
(07:52):
to your questions on there oryou can find people that can
help you solve your problems.
I've definitely used Instagramto search for very specific
people when I'm curious aboutlearning about a new topic.
So what this means is that yourInstagram content is just going
to have a much longer shelflife in that it has the capacity
(08:13):
to be discovered much, muchlater after you have published
it.
Which was one of my leastfavorite things about social
media platforms is that youcreate content and then it kind
of disappears into the voidafter a few days and you know,
obviously people can search itout and you definitely do get
people who will stumble acrossyou and then they'll just binge
(08:34):
everything you ever posted toreally get to know you and, you
know, make their decision on ifyou're the right person that
they want to hire.
So, um, but this is excitingbecause it means you know when
you are putting in the effort tocreate really high value
content, it can continue servingpeople and solving people's
problems and directing people toyour work long, long long after
(08:57):
you have published it.
So I'm going to talk a littlebit about that and how we can
leverage that to grow ourtraffic on Instagram more
organically, and all that meansis getting in front of more
people, with the internet andthe robots doing the work for
you, without you having to goand DM people, without you
having to go and send anotheremail, just by positioning your
(09:19):
content in a specific strategicway using keywords.
So this is why I want to talkabout Saturn, because notice how
you feel around thisconversation.
Are you immediately like snooze?
First, I don't want to.
I don't want to add anotherthing to my to-do list on my.
You know my content strategy.
It already feels too much.
It already feels like I've gotso much to do and I can never
(09:41):
get around to all of thosepieces of content that I
actually want to create.
So we're going to talk aboutthat and I'm going to share my
experience, and then you canmake up your own mind as to
whether or not this is astrategy that you want to play
with or not.
So I am in my Saturn era.
I'm a new woman when it comesto Saturn energy.
(10:03):
So what do I mean by that?
Let's talk about it.
I'm actually living close to mySaturn line here in LA, where I
moved, actually almost exactlytwo years ago and this is the
vibe right when I got here, Iwas like I want to set up my
office, I want to get a giantstanding desk, I want I've got
(10:26):
my extra screen set up.
For the first time ever sincebeing an entrepreneur, I've got
my ergonomic workstation and Iwant to do my habits.
I want to be healthy, I want towork out, I want to, you know,
be in a beautiful office spacewhere I feel good and I want to
get my work done and I want towork on projects.
(10:46):
I bought a filing cabinet, Ibought a set of drawers for the
office.
I am the most organized I haveever been in my whole life and
that's definitely the Virgorising in me coming out.
It's also me leaning more intomy Taurus North Node.
You know my office has a doorthat leads out to our yard.
(11:07):
I'm surrounded by plants, butyou know this is not something
that was available to me, norwas it something that I felt
comfortable with or chose inprevious years as an
entrepreneur, and really I'm inan era of long-term strategy and
(11:28):
that is really the Saturnenergy and I definitely started
my business and I was the kindof person, an entrepreneur who
was in it for the quick wins.
I was extremely impatient.
You know, my background was infilm production and I remember
people telling me that a filmproject could take up to five
(11:49):
years and I was like, oh no,this is not the industry for me.
I'm like that's way too long, and that's part of the thing.
One of the things that I lovedabout social media is I could
have an idea, sit down, create apiece of content, share it and
have people read it and beimpacted by it and be making
money from it within a matter ofminutes, hours, days, weeks,
(12:10):
like very short timeframe.
And I, you know, and it workedLike I've made a lot of money,
I've made a lot of content, I'velaunched a lot of things and
that's one way of doing things.
You know, I'm not shaming thatpast version of me, but now I
(12:31):
have a little distance and I'm,you know, I've got a little bit
older and I'm making some shiftsand I've learned some lessons
in life and entrepreneurship.
I can see how I may have heldmyself back with that mentality
and with that mindset, and youknow, I wasn't completely that
like.
I've always had that long-termconsistency, um, and that
(12:56):
grounded, just like staying inthe game long term.
I've never like flip-flopped,kind of like inside and outside
of my business.
I've been really reallyconsistent withopped kind of
like inside and outside of mybusiness.
I've been really reallyconsistent with my business and
there are other elements in mychart which support that.
I have a lot of earth energy, but I mainly have fire and air.
So you know, I've definitelybeen through eras of looking
(13:20):
into tactics and here it.
This is what I see as thedifference between tactics and
strategy.
A tactic is like hashtags orusing a trending audio or, you
know, using a trying to rank fora certain keyword because it's
trending and you're trying to goviral, jumping on trends.
(13:43):
You know, looking for thosequick wins.
That's kind of more like agambling approach to strategy,
like you may put a lot of timeand energy into something and it
might not work, you know, aswith anything that is creative.
But strategy is more.
What are those grounded pillarsthat you are committed to day
(14:04):
in, day out, that you'rebuilding over the long term, for
example, like a podcast or likea social media platform, an
email list, your offer suiteright, like a tactic is more
like a flash sale and thoseconcrete strategies that really
are the backbone of yourbusiness are, you know, your
(14:26):
offer suite and having a highticket offer that is
consistently bringing in themajority of your income.
So I definitely went down a lotof rabbit holes exploring
different tactics and I thinkyou know a part of that
obviously came from just likeneed, like I needed to be making
(14:47):
money and I was willing to dowhat it takes.
No-transcript and yeah, and heset me up with a bot.
I was like, use this bot tofollow and unfollow people.
(15:10):
And I decided to use it to justunfollow everyone on my account
because I wanted to, you know, clean up my feed and I
unfollowed more than 100 peoplein a day and that's what lost me
my account that I'd grown tolike 3000 people.
So you can see why the quickwins don't really work.
You know they are more likelyto shoot you in the foot, but
(15:38):
thankfully, you know, I have hadthat consistency with my email
list and with creating content, even though it's been on
different platforms and I havejumped from platform to platform
and, you know, tried outdifferent things.
And there's also nothing wrongwith that right, because we have
to find our place on theinternet.
So let me share my lessons withyou so that you don't make the
same mistakes, and also reflecton why you make some of the
(16:06):
strategic decisions that you aremaking and some of the
strategic choices, because, yeah, saturn's going to give you the
lessons that you need.
And sometimes we'll do theshiny object syndrome or we'll
outsource our responsibility forgenerating our goals by oh yeah
(16:30):
, I'll just hire this mentor andthat will be the thing that
gets me to my goal, or I'll justbuy this course, or I'll just
try this strategy, or I'll justtry this tactic, instead of
really taking responsibility forbecoming the person who does
what she is needed to do, doeswhat she needs to do, does what
(16:55):
she is needed to do, does whatshe needs to do to bring that
goal to life.
And my Saturn is in Scorpio, soI was in a lot of avoidance.
I was in a lot of shadowScorpio energy.
Scorpio is like really deepemotion.
That's one of its strengths,right.
So being in the shadow ofScorpio and not fully owning
that power within myself lookedlike the avoidance of going deep
(17:18):
emotionally.
And that's kind of thedifference between tactic and
strategy.
Tactics are like surface level.
Strategy is really doing thatin-depth work.
It's like um, let me think ofanother analogy.
You know, it's like going tothe gym and lifting some weights
(17:38):
once, versus committing.
Or like hiring a personaltrainer and getting one personal
training session and expectingto get results, versus
committing to going to the gymthree times a week for a year or
two, or three or five.
Right, it's like the level ofcommitment is going to bring you
(17:59):
the level of results and it'sonly by going deep and really
committing long term that'sgoing to bring you the level of
results that you really desirein the way that's right for you.
Right, we might get somesuperficial wins or some surface
level results, but they're notlasting.
Um, and I've done.
(18:21):
You know, if you've listened tomy podcast, you know my story
about how stepping intoentrepreneurship really forced
me to do a lot of that deepemotional processing work that
really came up around myrelationship with money.
And I do have a little bit ofScorpio in my.
I have actually have Pluto andScorpio in my second house.
(18:41):
So this is just a big part ofmy journey, a big which has
become a big part of my work, and the work that I do with
clients, which has become a bigpart of my work and the work
that I do with clients, and Ireally had to do that deep work
to get to the root cause ofthese, which were essentially
survival patterns, keeping mesuperficial, you know, keeping
(19:06):
me in avoidance of doing thatdeep, uncomfortable,
transformational work, which iswhy I always recommend
accompanying any, you know, strategic work and strategic
coaching with subconscious work, and really your mindset is the
bridge between those two things.
Right, doing the work on yourmindset, it is the most powerful
place to start, because it'sgoing to start to kick up all of
(19:29):
that unconscious stuff that'sin the way of you moving forward
to embodying what it is thatyou're focused on, what it is
that you're envisioning.
But it's so important to backthat with emotional and
energetic support systems tohelp us move through the
resistance and the ick thatnaturally comes up when we start
(19:50):
to step into that next levelstrategy.
And now I'm, you know, reallydiving into using our astrology
charts to help clients toidentify their specific needs
around this, which it just leadsto less trial and error and it
saves a lot of time.
Right, when you know you'recompatible with a strategy or
with a support system, or youknow your particular flavor of
(20:13):
resistance and self-sabotage,then you can confidently address
that.
So I also have Saturn in mythird house, next to my South
Node, so you know communicationand community, and also siblings
, are represented by the thirdhouse.
(20:34):
So there's a lot in my chartthat points me to helping people
sift through their family dramathat's getting in the way of
them sharing their message withmore people and growing their
(21:01):
visibility and income.
And by family drama I meanactual relationships that
trigger us, but also those youknow, those deep ancestral
patterns that we inherit fromour family that most of the is
to receive money, the patternsthat are going on in our key
relationships, like that's theplace where we gather data.
These are our strongest mirrorsfor the work that we generally
(21:23):
don't want to look at or do andhave built a lot of coping
mechanisms around avoiding.
Coping mechanisms aroundavoiding.
Saturn, similarly to Chiron, brings us challenges that lead
to skill building, and theskills that we build through
these challenges become veryvaluable resources to us in our
work and life, and many of theskills that your clients now pay
(21:45):
you for were likely developedthrough challenges that shifted
you in particular directionswith your own work.
I just created a Saturn and SEOstrategy workshop in the Cosmic
Copy Mastermind last week, andthis is the perfect example of
marrying a deep strategy with atactic.
So I showed you in this classhow to get really clear on those
(22:10):
skills that you have developedthrough the growth that Saturn
has brought you throughout yourlife and then turn them into
search engine optimized titlesto grow your reach and get in
front of the right people online.
It's pretty freaking cool,right.
So, side note, yes, you getinstant access to that
step-by-step process andworkbooks when you join the
(22:30):
Cosmic Copy Mastermind.
But here's a little illustrationof my like before and after.
When I was in the early stagesof my business, you know, I
started out in Bali and in Indiaand I was literally lugging two
suitcases of my worldlybelongings with me, took that on
(22:53):
a flight from India back to mymum's house in the UK.
At that point I was sellingfive dollar to a few hundred
dollar writing gigs, justfluttering like a little
butterfly on the wind betweenwhat turned into 18 different
countries, bringing all myworldly belongings around with
me, aside from a small stash ofthings and my friend's storage
(23:14):
locker in Vancouver.
You know I was literally doingmy groceries in different
currencies every month, sometimes every week, I was in a
different grocery store and youknow, yes, I had a very
adventurous life and that wasreally a desire for me was to
explore the world.
A lot of movement was actually, you know, caused because of my
(23:38):
visa situation.
I didn't have residencyanywhere for like a year.
During that time I hadn't livedin the UK for a long time.
I didn't have status in Canada,I didn't have status in the US,
so I was kind of just floatingaround.
And you know, there's a reasonwhy I left the UK.
I was running from a lot ofpain and discomfort of doing the
real healing work, and that wasborn from the family dynamic in
(24:03):
which I grew up and I was also, and I was also I, you know, I
didn't have that.
I didn't have the structures tobe doing the deep
transformational skill buildingneeded to bring my vision to
life.
I mean, that was really enoughfor me to build a full time
(24:32):
income and to serve over 1000 ofvery happy clients as a
copywriter.
So I got that, one skill at atime, you know, like no shame in
the game, like we're allfiguring it out over here, and
then, after launching my ownbusiness, you know, and kind of
transitioning from thatfreelance work.
(24:52):
I really had to start filling inmore of the skill gaps beyond
SEO and copywriting and moneymindset, and one of my biggest
challenges as someone with ADHDliving a very chaotic life, was
that just kind of like boringstrategic back end work,
(25:13):
particularly when you know mylife was just on the move all
the time.
So it was moving to New Yorkwhere I finally got a home
office space, and it wasn'tuntil moving to LA that I
finally got a fricking filingcabinet and you might might be
like this is so boring.
This is not my fashion board tohave a filing cabinet.
(25:34):
It wasn't on mine either, but Igot to the point where I was
just bored of the chaos and, youknow, not being able to find
something when I needed it.
I didn't file my taxes forthree years in a row twice and
that was putting stress on mylife.
That was ultimately drainingenergy away from my creativity
(25:58):
and my capacity to do the thingsthat I was really excited about
, and it didn't get in the waylet's be honest like I still
have been doing all the thingsthat I wanted, but to create
even more ease and joy andspaciousness and groundedness
and security.
These are some of the thingsthat I've been working on and I
(26:22):
can see now, looking back, whysystems, structure and
organisation, or the lack of it,created so much stress and
chaos for me.
And you know it did and itdidn't, and there's a season for
everything and I really believeand feel, now more than ever,
(26:44):
to just trust the chapter you'rein and this is not a sermon on.
You need to be more organizedand these things are more
important than other things inyour business, because they're
absolutely not.
You know, everything has itsplace and I always think, um, I
think of everything in terms oflike motherhood and babies.
Now we're like doing IBF andwe've been trying for a baby for
(27:05):
a long time, and I've thoughtabout this in the context of
business before too.
You know it's like if you wantanything to thrive and this is
age old advice that you'll hearanyone who succeeded at anything
tell you if you want to succeed, you have to go all in
consistently on the prioritiesand the true necessities and
just give it all you've got andnot give it all you've got to
(27:29):
the point of overgiving.
Give it all you've got and notgive it all you've got to the
point of overgiving, give it allyou've got from a place of high
performance, from a place ofintegrity.
And just like having a baby, you know those first few years
of the baby's life are sointense because the baby's
completely reliant on you.
It, you know all of its needsare dependent on you.
It's feeding on you, it youknow all of its needs are
dependent on you.
(27:49):
It's feeding, it's pooping,it's bathing, it's moving and
that's why having a baby isfreaking intense.
But as you, you know, as thebaby learns to feed itself and
learns to walk without you, youstart to get a little bit more
(28:09):
bandwidth back as a parent, similarly to a business, right
Like in the beginning, thenumber and in the beginning and
honestly always is sales andmarketing is priority.
Like, if you want to be makingmoney from your business as
you're growing, then sales andmarketing number one priority
(28:30):
every damn day, no matter what.
And if you don't have time todeal with the rest, you're just
going to make it work and you'regoing to sustain it as best you
can right, like when you have ababy.
I'm sure there's a ton ofpersonal adulting things that
just fall off the table and yousustain it for that period and
then eventually, down the line, you start to bring those things
back in again when you have alittle bit more bandwidth and
(28:52):
this is true of any career orany major project you have to
give it your all if you want togive yourself the chance to meet
the goals that you've set everyday.
And when you do that you can'tnot succeed eventually.
And I always think that withbusiness and with social media,
you know, I'm like when you havea baby you don't just decide
some days that you don't want tofeed it, or I can't be bothered
(29:14):
to, like, put it to bed tonight, or, you know, and it's like
that's true commitment anddevotion to this project.
And it's nowhere near as hardas that to run a business right
like you can sit in your pajamasand do all of your sales and
marketing from your phonewithout even needing to leave
(29:34):
the house right.
So no excuses for reallycommitting to that strategy that
you've decided on to get toyour goals, and we're going to.
You know we're going to breakdown the strategy in a little
more detail next week, but thisis really more about the mindset
and you know the lessons andthe growth that Saturn brings us
(29:59):
.
So really committing to cashflow and sales until you have
some of that recurring incomecoming in, then you can start to
reprioritize some otherprojects in your business and
obviously this is the benefit ofhigh ticket is it's high cash
flow with a low number ofclients.
This is the benefit of havinglonger term offers.
(30:21):
This is why I now don't offeranything shorter than six months
and I think I'm going to goeven higher with my mastermind.
I think I'm going to take it upto nine months, because
obviously that is great for meand my business.
But it also creates even betterresults for my clients when
(30:43):
they have a minimum commitmentof working with me for a really
long time.
So we're always chip, chip, chip, chipping away at all the
things, but it's so important toknow our true priorities and
the better we get you know, knowthis is that high performance
conversation again the better weget at doing the things that
(31:05):
are a non-negotiable priority, the more space and bandwidth and
skill we can build for theother things, which ultimately
just strengthens the wholesystem.
So why is seo such an importantconversation right now?
So I want to share briefly myjourney with it and what's
working.
(31:27):
So you know, back in the daywhen I started my business, I
was launching things all thetime.
I was creating new contentevery day.
I was creating new offers everymonth, I was creating new
workshops every month and itworks right Like it works.
But as the years have gone inmy business, I've obviously
created so much content andrefined what I'm doing that I've
(31:51):
been able to build signatureoffers that I have created,
launch content for that I canrepurpose and I have systems to
be able to launch things withouthaving to be on and creating
new things all the time.
And website SEO is somethingthat I got interested in.
You know of that long-termstrategy and I start I.
(32:16):
This was a 2020 project for me.
I actually started a newwebsite.
I wanted to build it onWordPress because of the
long-term SEO capabilities, andI started, you know, really
paying attention to my backend.
So I wasn't just creating, creating, creating all the time,
(32:38):
but I was really starting tothink with more of a long term
strategic perspective.
And so I have my stats Backfrom 2020.
That's when I startedcollecting stats on my website
and my social media and just howthings were performing, and
back then, my website wasgetting around 400 views a month
(32:58):
and then in 2021, that went upto around 1000.
And from 2022, up until now,it's been around 2000 views a
month.
So you know, you can see howthat growth has been happening
very slowly and it's not like Iget a ton of organic traffic
(33:22):
from my website.
The majority of my websitetraffic is from directly
promoting it on social media.
But when we're looking from ayou know, an analytical
standpoint, one percent is a ageneral industry standard
conversion rate.
So if you get in front of 2000people, if you convert 1% of
(33:46):
those, then that's 20 peoplethat you've captured.
So the goal of my website is toget people onto my email list.
So if 2000 people land on mysite, let's say, you know,
that's like a minimum of 20people a month that I got coming
onto my email list.
So within the coaching industryand within the types of
(34:09):
businesses that we are runningin this corner of the internet,
conversion rates are going to bemuch, much higher than one
percent, because we lead withstorytelling, because we lead
with emotional connection andbecause we're personal brands.
So connection and trust isbuilt so much faster and so much
more deeply that thatconversion rate can go up
(34:29):
significantly higher.
If you haven't listened to mypast podcast episode about how I
had a 100% conversion rate, Ihad one person watch my
masterclass and then she joinedmy $6,000 one-on-one coaching
package.
Things like that can happen, right, but these stats are just.
(34:52):
They're a good reminder to keepgoing.
This is, honestly, my view ofwhy stats are helpful, because I
might feel like, oh, this isn'tworking and I definitely have
felt like that with my website, which is probably why I've
plateaued since 2022.
That's probably when I checkedout of the strategy that I was
using and but thank goodness fortracking my stats, because I
(35:16):
got to look back and see like, yeah, the growth is really small
but it's happening.
So, if you just keep going, where are you going to be in one
year, two years, three years, four years, five years, 10 years
?
Right, and this lesson I reallylearned through using SEO in my
podcast and seeing how that wasmoving my views from like 20 to
(35:39):
30 up to, for each episode, upto 70, 80, 90, 100 downloads an
episode.
It's definitely.
I definitely attribute this tomy ADHD and that past pattern of
constantly chasing the quickwins and the quick hits and the
instant dopamine.
That's why I jumped from shinyobject to shiny object and
(36:02):
switched up my strategy insteadof sticking with the ones that I
wanted to long term and also, you know, no shame, because we
don't know unless we try otherthings right.
But this is why I amrecommending to you to pick a
strategy and this is why I lovebringing in astrology to guide
(36:26):
us in these decisions and reallyknowing who we are and knowing
what our strengths andweaknesses are, because then
we're making a strategicallysound choice.
Right, we're not choosingbecause, well, this coach I just
saw on Instagram had a load ofsuccess with this and that's why
I'm choosing it.
But really choosing from thisis who I am, you know.
Also, this is the phase of lifeI'm in, these are my needs
(36:48):
right now, and this is thestrategy that feels in the most
alignment and feels like thepath of least resistance and the
most joy.
And yes, there's always goingto be resistance.
There's always going to bechallenges that we have to
overcome.
Right, like that is just thenature of any big goal that is
beyond our current reality.
But making very intentionalchoices and, noticing, am I
(37:09):
switching my strategy right nowbecause I'm bored and I want a
dopamine hit or I'm trying toavoid some some challenging work
, or is it truly from a placethat is in alignment with my
long-term vision?
And only you can answer thatquestion right?
And things change.
You know, like who knew thatsubstack was going to come out?
(37:30):
And there'll always be newsocial media platforms that have
extra reach than the existingones, and the existing ones are
always going to become moresaturated and they're always
going to move to get thegoalposts every single freaking
month with new features and newways of doing things.
And that's just business andthat's just the world that we
live in right now.
Right, but knowing thoseconsistent ways that you love,
(37:55):
having conversations with yourpeople that grow real
connections, real community andis creatively fulfilling for you
, that is the key to asuccessful long-term strategy.
So just reflect on where youare around this conversation.
Highly recommend tracking yourstats and seeing the growth, no
(38:18):
matter how small, and yes, itwill go up and down and really
being in it for the slow build, because you know I had no clue
what I was doing with stuff inthe beginning.
I was paying VAs to figure outstuff for me that I just felt
scrambled by and didn't want tohave to figure out, like like
setting up my Google Analytics, like building my website.
(38:40):
But just know, over time you'regoing to build these skills and
these things are going to feelless overwhelming, and it's
going to.
You're going to get there onestep at a time, one deep breath
at a time.
And so now I've been using SEOstrategy to grow my podcast,
really inspired by myfrustration with social media
and the very, very short shelf, shelf life which is now changing
(39:05):
, which I'm so excited about forall of us.
Um, obviously, ranking on googleis like a whole other ballpark,
but that doesn't mean that youknow the possibilities and the
options aren't there, and youknow seeing that very slow
growth in my podcast, but seeingit happen.
(39:26):
And what the cool thing is, bythe end of this year I'm
projected to have had moredownloads than I had had the
entire 21, 22, 23, 24, theentire four years prior.
And how this is happening isI'm targeting each episode for
specific keywords and so nowwhen I search for those keywords
in Apple iTunes, my episodesare showing up in the search.
So that is when you have asuccessful keyword strategy is
(39:49):
when your stuff is showing up inthe top few selections of the
keyword that you're targeting.
Which is why it's best totarget low search keywords,
because it's better to show uptop in a low search keyword than
to get buried in a very popularkeyword where someone would
never even probably get to yourcontent.
(40:10):
Right, and the best part aboutthis, this is the reason why
it's working right.
These are not just vanitymetrics of like oh now you're,
you know you are good at SEO andpodcasting, but people are
actually finding me through mypodcast and signing up to work
with me, independent offollowing me on social media,
which was really always the goalwith the strategy.
So the cool thing about whenyou have a proven strategy and
(40:37):
to me, it's proven when it leadsto a paying client, like when
something has leads to a payingclient, like when something has
led to a paying client and youlove that client and they love
you.
They're a good fit for yourwork, they're exactly the type
of person that you want to workwith.
You have a functioning contentstrategy and then all you need
to do is keep doing it and keepimproving it and keep growing it
(41:02):
, and that is just going toscale to more and more and more
people through that avenue.
So the goal is to get to aplace in your business where you
like the way that you'rebringing in clients, you know
how to do it and it's working.
Then all you need to do is doit more to increase the
frequency and I am still drivingtraffic to my podcast from
(41:23):
social, but maybe one day Iactually won't need to do that.
And this is a lesson that Ilearned from launching my free
series, cosmic AttractionCopywriting last year, which was
my most successful freefive-part series where I was
blending astrology with content, really blending all the skills
(41:44):
that I'm most passionate aboutto create a unique solution and
get really good at talking aboutit.
And it took me a bit of time toget there right, like I'd been
doing a lot of messaging andcopywriting and money mindset.
But astrology was a newer thingfor me over the past few years
and you know I had impostersyndrome around it and I wasn't
(42:05):
sure how much I wanted to bringit into my brand, and so I was
in a period of experimentation.
It was the year before Icreated my first series on um
content and astrology.
That also did really well andalso led to a lot of clients for
me.
So once I saw that I had, youknow, cracked the code, created
something that was supportingpeople, bringing in the right
(42:25):
people and leading to payingclients.
I created another one and thenthat became a really powerful
piece of evergreen free contentthat continued to funnel clients
into my high ticket offers.
And this is what showed me, youknow, I can get really good at
repeatable content, I can buildon previous work and I can
create a body of work and reallyjust continue fine tuning and
(42:48):
refining.
And to bring this back to thecentral theme of Saturn, that I
want to hammer home today ishaving that long term vision,
knowing where you want to be and, importantly, knowing how you
want to get there right.
Don't do tactics that you hatedoing.
Don't do things that feel likeyou're sacrificing your
(43:10):
integrity or your soul or you'redoing a ton of busy work that
is not joyful for you.
Get good at the ways you wantto be bringing clients into your
business, through which thereare 10 000 million options for
us right now, so you can you getto pick what's most fun for you
and to remember this, thisphase of your business that
(43:31):
you're in it's not forever.
And I'm really stuck in my headsomething that amy porterfield
once said that building anaudience can be worth the value
of a house over your lifetime, and I really want to emphasize
this part of it, which is thatyou must own that audience on
your email list.
Imagine having you know, several hundred thousands of
(43:54):
dollars worth of assets thatbelongs to a social media
company and could just disappearif they decide to shut down or
kick you off, like this is real.
So you know, I've constantlygrown my email list and it's
still small, but it's made mehundreds of thousands of dollars
and those are my main assetsand the main places that people
buy from me now is my podcastand my email list and obviously
(44:18):
social media as well.
So how you're building is so,so, so important.
Keep that long-term vision inmind and you really have to
start with valuing andrespecting.
Valuing and respectingeverything you have already the
people who are there, even ifthere's five downloads or one
like or one comment or nofreaking comments.
(44:40):
You have to respect the assetsthat you're creating and know
that everything is leading youto that long vision, that
long-term vision, as long as youstay focused on where you're
going and as long as you'rereally being intentional around
how you're building to get thereand not flip-flopping.
And so this brings me around towhy SEO is awesome in digital
(45:03):
marketing.
So, whether or not you decidethat it's something you want to
explore in your strategy here'swhy it can be really valuable to
even dip your toe in the wateris because it really helps us
become better content marketers.
And what does that mean?
(45:24):
It helps us get better atspeaking to our people and
becoming relevant to them andbecoming noticed by them.
So, beyond the goal of growingyour visibility on online
searches, simply doing thekeyword research, simply knowing
the language that your clientsare actually using and actually
putting in to Google and I use atool called Keywords Everywhere
(45:49):
to do my keyword researchGoogle also has a keyword
research tool as well and whatthis is going to do is show you
what people are actuallyinterested in, what they're
actually looking for and thewords that they're using to
describe their problems andchallenges and desires.
And the most, the biggestbenefit, in my opinion, of
(46:11):
knowing the keywords for yourwork is to get you out of
speaking in technical industryfluff, which is so easy to fall
into when you're immersed inyour work and when you're maybe
not having as many conversationswith current clients, or maybe
when you're launching a newproduct or service.
(46:32):
And it's also just a bad habit, frankly, that we so many of us
often fall into when we'retalking about our work.
When you're not extremelyfocused and you're putting out a
piece of content and you kindof like waffle, it's not going
to have any resonance, which iswhy it's so important to be
intentional with every singlepiece of content that you put
out there, because it has thecapacity to lead to thousands of
(46:56):
dollars for you from theperfect fit clients when you do
it right.
And it's very eye-opening rightto start to think what is the
language that other people areusing to describe what I do?
And I know this can beparticularly challenging for
those of us who are in thehealing arts and who, you know,
do a little bit more likeesoteric work.
(47:16):
But there's always an SEOstrategy that you can build that
is going to work for you, because what do we know for sure
?
Your people are online.
What do we know for sure?
Your people have problems thatthey need help with.
So keywords are really a directpath to thinking what your
people are thinking, tosearching what they're searching
(47:38):
and showing up in the placesthat they are currently looking
for answers so you can show upand be of service to them with
your products and services.
And then, obviously, when youknow what some of these keywords
are and you land on some thatare really working for you and
that really, you know, encapsulate the uniqueness of
(47:59):
the work that you do and this isa benefit that you know people
in my community have is thatwe're marrying multiple skills.
You know like, for me,copywriting is a great keyword,
money mindset isn't an amazingone, but, like other money
keywords are good and astrologykeywords are great.
So by combining those, I knowthat when someone lands on my
(48:21):
content and they've got therethrough one of my keywords and
then they resonate witheverything that I'm talking
about, that for sure is mysoulmate client.
You know like we're gonna loveworking together.
When people find my content arelike, oh, that's for me, and
then they enjoy what I have tosay.
For sure, we're going to be agreat match, and I found that
(48:43):
more and more since getting moreinto that kind of like deep
niche specificity with my work, with my podcast, with my online
social media content.
So this is the majority of thework that I do with clients,
because a lot of the time we'rekind of blind to some of our
deepest skills, and this is whyit's so valuable to look at our
(49:04):
satin and to really reflect whatare the skills that my
challenges have brought me,because some of them, you know,
we maybe developed a few yearsago, but they're actually a
fundamental building block inthe work that we do with our
clients today, and so bringingthat forward in your content and
maybe even targeting some of itthrough your SEO can actually
bring you perfect, fit clientswho will instantly recognize the
(49:26):
value that you're able toprovide for them.
So this is really the goal, andwhen you do get to that clarity
, that's magic right.
So if all of this soundsoverwhelming, it's all good.
I've been there, but know thissearch engine optimization.
It's not actually thatcomplicated, but if you do want
(49:48):
my help to build out and test apersonalized keyword strategy,
we can work on that togetherinside the Cosmic Coffee
Mastermind and we're going tohave so much fun doing it.
You do not need to do thisalone and it can give you so
many great insights, and what myclients in the mastermind have
been finding is it's actuallybeen inspiring them with so many
(50:08):
content ideas and given them somuch confidence with the angles
that are unique to them thatare, for sure, going to make
them stand out in their othercontent them stand out in their
other content.
So let me know what comes upfor you around this conversation
