On this episode of Creative Space, I wanted to share a little holiday gift with you all in the form of affirmations, namely affirmations for creativity. Did you know that according to the National Science Foundation, 80% of our thoughts are negative and 95% of our thoughts are repetitive? This negativity loop isn’t good for our creativity and that’s where affirmations have helped me.

I’ve put a few of my favorite creativity affirmations in this episode for you to listen to and use. I hope they help you unlock new levels of creativity and happiness in 2022, 2023 and beyond.

Jennifer Logue (00:10):
Hello everyone and welcome to another episode
of creative space, a Podcastwhere we explore, learn and grow
and creativity together. I'myour host Jennifer Logue. And
today, I wanted to share alittle holiday gift with you all
in the form of affirmations, namely affirmations for
creativity. Well, I'm usually apretty positive person, I have

(00:36):
negative thoughts about myself, and my abilities all of the
time. And this is human. So ifyou can relate to this, you're
not alone. Even the mostoptimistic, bright eyed and
bushy tailed of us have negativethoughts and can be hard on
ourselves. It's just how we'rewired. Our brains react more

(00:58):
strongly to negativity out of aneed to survive. But since we're
not being chased down by wildanimals anymore on a day to day
basis, hopefully, the negativitybias our brains are wired for
isn't necessary and can reallyget in the way of us living life
to its fullest potential, especially when it comes to
embracing our creativity.
According to the NationalScience Foundation, 80% of our

(01:21):
thoughts are negative, and 95%are repetitive. So if we don't
start replacing negativethoughts with more positive
thoughts, we stay stuck in anegativity loop. So to begin
healing myself, I started usingpositive affirmations. I didn't
see results immediately. But bitby bit, they do work. You really

(01:45):
have to do them every daythough. Whenever I skip doing
them, my day doesn't go as well.
It's kind of like skipping aworkout. But this is a workout
for your brain. As a little giftto you this holiday season, I
thought I'd share some of myaffirmations on creativity to
help you on your creativejourney. I'll say each

(02:07):
affirmation once and then I'llleave space for you to repeat it
out loud. You can refer back tothis episode whenever you need a
boost. Also, if there's anaffirmation that doesn't
resonate with you simply skipit. Enjoy affirmations for
creativity. I am creative. Weare all creative. I choose to

(02:39):
honor my creativity today. Theway my creativity shows up in
the world is unique to me and Icherish it I am here on this
planet for special purposegifted to me by my Creator

(03:07):
we are all here on this planetfor a special purpose gifted to
us by our Creator I celebratethe gifts I've been given. I am
enough and my talent is enoughhere and now.

(03:35):
I am joyous in every step of theprocess. When I encounter a
wall, I push through and createanyway I make space for my gifts
and my gift makes space for memy creative process is rewarding

(04:03):
in itself and fills me with somuch joy
I am so grateful to be able todo what I do in this life. Joy

(04:24):
in the process is the ultimatesuccess.
I celebrate the gifts othershave been given because they are
on their own unique journeys.

(04:45):
When I see others succeed, itmakes me happy to see our
Creator working in their life.
through my creativity, I cantransform pain into power. I can

(05:10):
transform sadness into joy. Ican transform fear into love.
Creativity can be survival.
Creativity can be healing, creativity can be play.

(05:35):
I can take whatever ingredientslife brings me and make
something beautiful to share.
Creativity connects us.
Creativity makes us whole.
Creativity helps us see theworld as others see it and feel

(06:00):
the world as others feel it.
A more creative world is akinder world. And I believe
creativity can save the world.
