In 1903, a tiny town just west of Des Moines, Iowa, would find itself terrorized by an  antediluvian monstrosity that seemingly clawed its way out of  an  nightmare. The 8-foot-tall entity boasted massive bat-like wings, a beak , and most peculiar of all... a blunt horn on its head that radiated a blinding beam of light. It would be dubbed the Van Meter Visitor and its story would quickly be catapulted into legend. Join hosts Laura Kram and Creepy Acres' very own resident Bigfoot, Sam Squatch,  as they speak with Kevin Lee Nelson: researcher, folklorist, and coauthor of  "The Van Meter Visitor: A True and Mysterious Encounter with the Unknown".
