SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
DJs, we do things
different podcasts.
Untold stories of Master P.
Yeah, we got my engineer hereworking and uh making sure
everything's good.
We had a little show snart, alittle slow, slow start.
Um, shout out to everybodythat's checking it on and
checking.
If you're here, um announceyourself.
And um, we got a big showtonight.
You you you you know you knowtechnical difficulties always
(00:21):
happen when we're doing it forreal.
Shout out to everybody checkingon and checking.
We got my engineer working on uhworking.
We had a bad storm out here inthe ATL area, man.
It's been it's been crazy.
The weather out here has beenreal crazy.
But uh, we're gonna make sureeverybody as you get in, as you
get in, and shout out to myengineer uh uh uh Skeletor out
(00:43):
there working in New York City, making sure the sound is where
it need to be.
And we have uh Skeletor isactually gonna be working on a
video feed by remote.
Uh Johnny is Johnny is workingin my other building out here at
Jones Graphics.
So CX1 DJ is Watson PaytonStudios.
So Johnny is not gonna beworking with us with that.
(01:04):
So we have um Skeletor in NewYork working on a video feed,
and that'll be up shortly.
Shout out to Lawania Wilson, appreciate you checking in.
And um Yeah, we got UntoldStories of Masterpiece.
So we we're gonna let everybodyknow, man.
The the whole part of doinguntold stories is paying homage
(01:25):
and giving y'all the untoldstories of the your favorite all
underground artists.
We have untold stories of punkcoming soon as well.
And um working with TCAP people,we should have one with T Cap
people as well.
Shout out to T Cap checking in,appreciate that, my brother.
And um and uh DJ for real 800.
Yeah, that's what I'm talkingabout.
(01:46):
Houston, Texas checking in.
And um, I guess we gotta late.
I don't see DJ money yet, but wegot before I, you know, I ain't
gonna trip.
Shout out to T Cap checking in.
And we're gonna be getting intosome um uh the Go Hard video
from Punk T Cap and Punk, butwe're gonna get into that a
little later on as well.
Today, show might be going alittle um over nine o'clock
(02:10):
because uh we got you know, wehave a tough a little technical
difficulties, but we're herenow.
I I I I want to talk about my myweekend at Jones Graphics,
because you know, Jones Graphicsis the official sponsor for CX1
DJs, we do Things Diffin'podcast.
So we had this particularcustomer that that that wanted
(02:32):
to be cheap.
Well, it was a group of them.
It was one person that orderedfor everybody, and they wanted
to be cheap about their order.
And then what's so funny aboutwe even if you you you we give
you a discount or you order, youknow, the the you have a
substitute of what you reallywant, but you really don't want
to spend the money, so you get asubstitute.
Our substitutes are still betterthan most people's substitute.
(02:56):
But if you lie to the person, say if you got a I'm I'm gonna
give everybody this this thing, because if you have one person
order for a whole group, andthat person that ordered for the
whole group lies to the group ofwhat they getting and then but
they pay for the person paid forwhat she wanted, but that she
didn't tell the whole group thatshe uh she she uh gotiated one
(03:19):
price and then she upped theprice and then told the whole
group it was another price, soshe made some money and didn't
give them the quality theythought they was getting.
So say for instance you you knowyou order a broadery, but but
you have a person orderingordering for you and they say,
Oh, you're gonna get a broadery, knowing you're not getting no
fucking embroidery.
But you get in print, and butthey they don't know that
(03:40):
because they got an anotherperson they that they trust
ordering for them.
So that's what it's a situationwe had with Jones Graphics and
Watson Print.
And our attorneys will behandling that because what
happened was the group got madbecause they didn't get what
they ordered when the person, the instructor that ordered the
stuff for them pretty muchdidn't tell them that it costed
(04:01):
more money and they was gettinga one one typical one type of
print when they don't they wasgetting another type of print.
Yeah, that's a lawsuit for yourass.
So, you know, when you slanderCX1 DJs or Jones Graphics, we
come at you legally.
And I will say something, thisstupid ass group, I'm gonna call
them stupid ass group.
I I ain't using a head becausewhen you when you slander a
(04:23):
company and we have textmessages and emails and shit
that you posting on social mediaand our lawyers grab it, we
gonna come after you.
We we we we're gonna let itpound up and and you know, then
we got we're gonna come afteryou.
So I tell a person, watch beforeyou post and before you slander
a company, you don't know whoyou're dealing with, and you
don't know what kind of backingthey have financially or
(04:45):
mentally.
And you know, a lot of peoplework off of anger and they don't
work, they don't think about theoutcome.
They just think, ah, and theyjust start posting and trashing
a business or individual whenyou don't know it was a lot of
moving parts to the situation.
So I want to let everybody know,I want everybody to learn from
(05:05):
this, but I'm saying now.
Watch what you're doing.
If it's a if it's if it's amultiple people, and part and
and say if you're going on acruise and you can't you pay
one, you pay your cruise fee toone person, and this person is
trying to make money off itanyway, so they up the price,
act like the cruise was oneprice, but really the cruise is
(05:25):
another price, and then you getyour cruise tickets and you on
you you and you and you you notVIP, you regular on a cruise.
You get what I'm saying?
That's kind of what happenedhere with Jones Grappers.
Some of these people with thisparticular group, uh uh was like
about 30 people orders uhordered something that had gave
their money to one person thatwas over the order.
(05:46):
And she lied and told them, itwas a girl too, in black.
She lied and told them, do whatyou're doing.
She lied and told them that itwas getting one thing and they
got another.
So that that that is crazy.
That is motherfucking crazy.
And you shut up.
You know, that was definitelydefinitely crazy.
Got a co-worker here, ooh, yeah.
(06:07):
I'ma say it.
That was fucking crazy.
Don't say you're gonna get one.
It was a jackass black lady.
Jackass.
And you know, it could have beena white lady, but it was a
jackass black lady.
And uh I I I you know, they sayblack people is is um what's
that word I'm looking for?
(06:27):
Black black black people is umagainst black people, they are
against black people.
They very much so.
And I, you know, I uh in thebeginning the person was very
professional, then turned out tobe unprofessional.
And then I look at it at my ownkind that always trying to tear
each other down.
And I don't see nothing wrongwith saying that.
(06:49):
If you black and you're tryingto tear down another black
company, you should be ashamedof your goddamn self.
I don't give a fuck who don'tagree with what I'm saying.
You should be ashamed ofyourself trying to tear another
black company business that youknow is owned and run by black
people.
Now the investors is white, butyou you know, you know what I'm
saying?
Yeah, what are you doing?
(07:10):
I can that's on my heirs.
Don't do that.
What the fuck is you doing, man?
Watch what you're doing overthere.
Yeah, so that that that that'sanother another thing that that
it's always our people with thebullshit.
I ain't saying white peopledon't got the bullshit either,
but it's always black peoplewith the bullshit.
Damn.
(07:30):
I don't get it.

That was fire.
Let's get into the untoldstories.
What you guys came here for.
So I yeah, I'm ready.
We've been ready.
So let's talk about Master P.
Master Let's talk about MasterP.
You guys think y'all know MasterP.
(46:38):
Let me let me move this mic likethat.
You know, everybody thinks theyknow P.
You don't know P.
I know P.
And the Master P I know willgive you the shirt of his back.
But he didn't play.
If he was not a team player, hewasn't you can play on the
stage.
You could not be a part of NoLimit unless you was a hard
(47:01):
worker.
And if you at the time when theygot into there, they were still
understanding.
Before he moved to Richmond,California, he went New Orleans,
living a fast life.
He'll tell you, you guys knowthat.
Most of these rappers back inthe 90s and 80s.
See, Master P was out there withBaby.
(47:21):
Not out there with Baby, butthey was in the same era.
Master P Master P started in the80s.
He didn't he didn't blow upglobally into the early 90s.
Master P had his made his firstmillion in the 90s, right before
(47:44):
Ice Cream Man came out.
But he he he became to be who hewho he is when he got we got
with Parardy and he got withUniversal and he got with, you
know, party records first.
And then uh he had he had towork his way to Universal and
all the other big big players, the all independence that he was
with.
(48:04):
All the majors that he got hisdistribution deal with.
Now Master P was the only recordrecord company I know to get
90-10 split.
Yeah, he kept 90%.
The record companies got kept10.
And you know, Baby cut a deallike that, but it was not sweet
as Master P because Master P was100% independent.
(48:27):
Baby was not 100% independent.
Cash money was not when cashmoney got in the scene, it was
it was a little different fromyou know, it was way different
than Low No Limit.
And it, you know, No Limit wasmore like the Walmart of when I
mean by Walmart, that chain iseverywhere.
(48:48):
You can't go nowhere withoutseeing Walmart.
So No Limit at once Master P gotwhat he was doing and he went
out to California and he gothe's he he's planted his flag
out there in California,Richmond, California, and then
he was back and forth fromCalifornia and Louisiana.
He put on his plant his flag onwhat he was doing in the music
industry.
(49:09):
A lot of see baby didn't dothat.
Baby stayed in this what I like,I like about both gentlemen.
Baby planted his flag in NewOrleans.
You're like, why are you talkingabout baby?
And this is untold story ofMaster P.
The two brothers made history inthe music industry, not just
because they from Louisiana, NewOrleans, it's just they they
(49:33):
changed the the outlook on howto be a CEO.
You you you couldn't want to bein this music industry without
wanting to say, hey, I want tobe a master P, I want to be a
baby.
So I will never be biased andsay I just did Big Thomas on
Thursday.
So I and I talked about MasterP.
I will never be biased about thetwo.
(49:55):
Even when they did the verses, Iyou know, caution, yeah.
You know, no limit won thatshit.
All right, we're not gonna actlike we didn't see you.
No limit had the Unity.
Unity always win.
Even people think that baby andcash money had better universal
songs.
When I mean by that, that theyall the songs that they put out
(50:15):
was commercial hits.
Well, no limit didn't have abunch of commercial hits.
They had commercial hits, butnot like cash money.
But one thing that no limit hadthat cash money didn't have,
they had unity.
Even though when they had beef, they know how to come together.
Hey man, y'all cut that shitout.
We gotta do verses, or we gottado an album, or we gotta do a
(50:36):
toy.
Everybody chill the fuck out.
Let's get this money.
Master P had that draw on peoplethat make people say, all right,
we're gonna stop our bullshitjust from now.
We get back to the bullshitafter we get to the money.
Because money over moneyoverrue, money.
Hey, when you're trying tofeature a family, and most of
these people is in their 50s and60s and late 40s and shit.
Nobody got time to be out herebeefing and shit.
(50:59):
Yeah, I see I can buy JonesGraphics clothes on.
You see this shit.
We represent Jones Graphics, niggas trying to shit on a
brand, nigga.
Man, you see that JonesGraphics.
Jones graphics to I'm dead inthe coffin.
The fuck?
We always gonna push that brand, always, and we're gonna stand
behind it 100%.
Because that's the brand mymother started, and that's the
(51:21):
brand I'm gonna I'ma keep andI'm gonna fight for, and no
one's gonna ever tear thatbrand.
I don't give a damn if I'mbroke, I'ma still fight for
Jones Graphics.
All right, back to Master P.
So people thinking that thisshit happened over.
When you know when Ice Cream Mancame out, I'm like, I'm gonna
tell you something.
(51:42):
The last dawn one, two, three, four, all the shit that Mass.
I was actually, when I firstwent and uh got introduced to
Master P is when I was incollege in Winston State
University.
I was I w I I went to college in90 95.
I wasn't I was there in WinstonState in North Carolina, and I
was introduced to Master P bysome uh Crip Crip brothers and
(52:06):
Vice Lords and the and uh and uhyeah GDs and the people was on
Master P when I ain't no I'mfrom New Jersey, so I wasn't I
wasn't listening to no Master Pshit until I got down south.
I ain't hear no Master P shit inNew Jersey, I'm gonna be honest.
So that's one thing I respectedSouth because the music down
south, the the shit I washearing here, I'm in Atlanta
(52:28):
now, of course, but the shit Iwas hearing in South, we wasn't,
they wasn't playing, it wasplaying hardcore hip-hop.
So when you, you know, that'swhen you know you start
traveling.
When I started traveling theworld, I started hearing
different music.
And Master P was dominating thecharts in the West Coast, the
Midwest, and the dirty South.
He had the charts.
He had the underground, he hadthe mixtape circuit.
(52:50):
And one thing about Master P wasno internet back then, like I
said, with baby and cash money.
It was no internet shit backthen.
It was strictly guerrillamarketing.
The shows, it was the shows, itwas the um, you had to go out
there, do the the you know, shake hand and kiss babies.
It was no girl, it was nointernet back then.
(53:10):
It was no Facebook with none ofthat shit in the 90s.
You had to get up your ass, doyour radio promo, you had to do
your your your your your youryour your promo tours, you had
to go to all the record storesand promote your shit.
Master P was the king at themixtape circuit shit.
(53:31):
Underground selling shit out histrunks.
Most of the people down south sodid out of the trunk.
I'm doing that shit now withpunk of a shit.
But that shit so it's stillgoing on.
And the music industry is goingback to out of the trunks.
Master P made multi Master P andBaby.
I gotta give it to Baby as well.
Because I gave it to Master P onthe baby show.
(53:52):
They sold records out of theirtrunk, become millionaires on
top of other shit they wereselling.
And we ain't gonna get intothat.
But when Master P moved toRichmond Richmond, California,
and he opened up the recordstore.
His words, he was sleeping inthere with his son.
Um and uh they was living in therecord store.
You know, you know, Iunderstand, I understand the
grind, man, because I'm goingthrough that shit now with Jones
(54:14):
graphics.
And you know, you you gottabelieve in this is what I'm
gonna tell everybody while I'mlooking in the camera.
This is a perfect show for me,and I'm learning while I'm
talking.
I'm not just taught, I'm justjust I'm not just teaching
people, I'm learning because Isee how hard it is when your
money's tied up in yourinvestments, but you believe in
it.
You have to believe in thisshit.
Master P believed in no limitrecords.
He believed in him wheneverybody was saying he was
(54:35):
corny, he couldn't rap.
But he didn't give a fuck aboutthat.
Niggas was turning on his music, they were saying he was wacky,
not lyrical.
He didn't like he couldn't makeit and he made it.
See, you don't gotta be the bestrapper, you gotta be the best
businessman to make it out here.
It's not about and you know, youand you gotta know how to
market.
You gotta know how to marketsome shit.
You gotta know how to promoteyourself.
If you don't know how to fuckingdo that, one thing about DJ
(54:57):
Butter Rock, I'm gonna justgonna, I gotta do me out there.
I'm gonna get a shameless plug.
I know how to promote CX1 DJs, Iknow how to promote Jones
graphics, I know how to promoteanything that I'm affiliated
with.
You know why?
Because I from the ground, Iknow how to do the guerrilla
marketing, I know how to promoteto my haters, I know how to get
other DJs that's neutral tostart fucking with other people
(55:20):
that I don't fuck with.
And shout out to all the newDJs.
We got up about 20 DJs thatsigned up for CX1 DJs this week.
You guys didn't even know thateither.
And guess who helped me get themDJs?
DJ for Real 800 from Houston,Texas, is out there working, the
vice president of CX1 DJs.
He got me 20 DJs from differentstates.
(55:42):
So shout out to DJ for Real 800.
He out here working.
He only been in president vicepresident for two weeks.
And uh shout out to T Cap.
Uh DJ for Real said he likedyour record, T Cap, and uh I
sent him the record, and he outthere working.
Yeah, so back to Master P.
So he it's I only got a coupleof stories to say, really.
(56:06):
Master P is a multi uh almost abillionaire.
He's selling products, he has adocumentary coming out.
His son's gonna be playing him,Ice Cream Man, the documentary,
and that's gonna be played byhis son.
And that's another reason whywe're doing a show to promote
the documentary that's gonna becoming out soon.
They did no limit, uh, Master Ppeople didn't tell me when that
shit coming out, but they saystay tuned.
(56:28):
They're gonna give me the updatewhen they come out.
But his son will be playingthem.
You know how Master P is.
They they work it on, they gotcereal, they got products, they
got um rap snacks, they got awhole bunch of shit that Master
P got.
Now let's talk about this untoldstory.
I gotta tell you a story.
We was in a compound and DJ Meowwas there, and Master P people
(56:50):
showed us not my class.
If you ever did a press releasefor Master P, any radio, any
interviews, and he tells youhe's coming to your city, the
untold story.
I want to I'm gonna say tonight.
Master P and his team stuck totheir word.
When he said he was he said,Butter rock, when Jay Tweezie
said, yo, when I come toAtlanta, I'm gonna hit you up.
(57:12):
Jay Tweezy hit me up.
This is Master P manager.
He hit me up as soon as they wascoming to Atlanta.
He hit me up.
He said, Yo, we're gonna be inyour city in a week.
As soon as he got here, he madesure everybody's name was on the
VIP list.
(57:32):
Not the regular.
I'm telling we was on stage.
Y'all could go on YouTube afterthis over and look up DJ, but

You could look that shit up.
It's we is up there.
I ain't I know y'all don't know.
Oh, you're gonna play it a bit.
I ain't gonna do that.
That's corny.
I'm not gonna go back there andpull up the video when I was
with Master P.
I've been with a whole bunch ofrappers and a whole bunch of
stars.
(57:52):
That's corny.
I'm not gonna take his mass.
I'm giving flowers to Master P,not CX1 DJs.
Y'all could go look it up,though.
All right, you could see me, DJButterock, uh DJ Meown, uh
Punkerfoot was there, um, and uhand a couple other people was
there that was with CX1 DJs.
Yeah, this is before DJ Meownran over there with the other

Now you got a deal, nigga.
I uh we'll see, we'll see.
Uh my manager hit you up.
His manager never hit us up.
He now see Master P was by hisword.
When they came in the city, theyain't had to.
Master P and Motow almost abillionaire.
(01:00:47):
How the fuck can a Mr.
Port Chop Sandwich take his wordback?
And then you have almost abillionaire with all this shit
going on, Mr.
Ice Cream Man, have his managerhit me up telling me they're
gonna be at the compound.
They gotta he asked me foreverybody's name.
I gave him everybody's name, andwe was on the list.
We had to wait outside.
(01:01:07):
It was a line around a goddamncorner at the compound.
We walked right in thatmotherfucker.
And we was on stage with MasterP.
Master P was like, where allthese niggas came from?
But Master P kept a G.
Oh they DJS, DJ, CX1, DJs.
Oh, all right, Master P.
Y'all can go watch the video.
Master P didn't look like, whatthe fuck?
With all these niggas?
(01:01:28):
DJ Man said, We back, nigga, weback.
Like, nigga, calm your ass down.
You in you in space butgreatness.
Shout out to DJ Meown.
I fuck with you, nigga.
I still love you, nigga.
Um, um, so let's get back to JayWick.
(01:01:49):
Cause I'm gonna tell you thedifference for Master P and Jay
Wick, and these young niggasdon't keep their word when you
got the OGs that keep theirword.
So Jay Wick got his deal withEmpire and Gazi.
He's Mr.
Honey and Gun and the Part ChopSandwich.
Plug come on in and shit andhang.
So, okay, so he shitted on us.
He he came in town, he's onstages and the the the the
summer jam and hot one on sevennine birthday bash, all the
(01:02:12):
shit.
I said, Well, my birth, what CX1DJ was pushing your music.
DJ Money, I was we promotingthis shit.
You saw he was liking this shit.
But when he as soon as he gothis record deal with Empire and
with Ghazi, that nigga turned,he was already white.
He turned true super white.
But he act like a nigga.
So he all niggas go, damn, JWick, that's what we that's how
you're treating us.
(01:02:33):
Two months later, a nigga killeda nigga in Florida.
Now that nigga facing uh life inthe death penalty in Florida.
Damn, calm as a bitch, Jay Wick.
Now I want to see your pork chopsandwich in jail.
I don't never wish nothing onnobody that go they get caught
up.
But nigga, you shot your ownhomie.
Who shot you?
You did it, Jay Wick.
You did it.
(01:02:55):
Ain't no legendary.
He said it before.
And then the guy passed away.
He said, Jay Wick came from thebeach.
He shot me.
Now, I don't know why he shotme.
Then two weeks later, thebrother died.
Now Jay Wick's facing Jay Wick, the Mr.
Port Chop Sandwich, is facinglife in prison, death penalty,
and I don't think they got wellthey do got pork chop sandwiches
(01:03:18):
in the state penitentiary, JayWick.
I just want to add that.
Because you didn't keep yourword like Master P kept his
word.
Now we're gonna get off yourpork chop sandwich ass.
Don't drop the soap, nigga.
Now, back to Master P.
He kept his word with us.
He didn't pull a J Wick.
He kept his word.
And when he came to the city, hedefinitely looked out for us.
(01:03:40):
Because we was looking out forhim.
We was playing his song he hadwith Rick Ross.
And um he kept he kept he keptit real, man.
He kept it real.
He kept it real.
He kept it real.
So let's let's let's what thehell going on over here?
Yeah.
So he kept it, he kept it real,he kept it real.
So I want to say this realquick.
(01:04:02):
If you give your word tosomebody, in this game, you
gotta keep your word.
Master P helped, he he let'stalk about all that all the
artists that he rebirthed.
He rebirthed Snoop Dogg.
When he Snoop Dogg left, oh God,when he left, Death ro he came
to No Limit, he rebirthed him.
(01:04:23):
When he when he when when heleft when he left when he uh
when when he when he I'm leavingreading the comments when when a
lot of artists that left NoLimit and came back, he showed
love to them.
So we we gotta definitely giveit to Master P of staying legit.
(01:04:43):
I'm reading something, y'all.
Staying legit and keeping hisword and not turning his back on
none of the people that was withhim.
And even though a lot of peoplemisjudge Master P on a lot of
stuff and say that he owes themoney, you got Fiend talking
shit.
You have the, you know, and thenand and Fiend came back and they
was cool.
(01:05:04):
They went back and did an album.
They did a no limit album.
And you know, I'm not sayingeverybody's coochie crunch, but
one thing about Master P he mademillionaires.
If you was with No Limit and youwas smart and you knew you knew
the business, he made you.
Now, you know, Miss School, youknow, every everybody had their
bad things to say about P, butone thing P did, he tr he
trained them on how to havetheir own shit and how to be
(01:05:27):
their own boss.
You can't want to be under aperson's wing forever.
All right, nigga, we made younow move on.
Branch out, branch out withoutshitting on the person that
pitch you in position.
And this is what I will sayabout Master P everybody that
that he put in position that ifthey ever said something bad
(01:05:50):
about him, he he would not trustthem, but he will still help
them.
Because a lot of them artiststhat was at Versus, I was
surprised to see them on thatversus stage.
But he like, well shit, we gottacome together to do this as
whoop some ass real quick andhopefully we could come together
as a family and move on.
But one thing I did see, helike, I'm gonna forgive, I'm
gonna forgive you, but I ain'tgonna forget.
(01:06:13):
Because what after the verses,Master P dropped his own goddamn
EP.
And had nobody from No Limit onit.
And shout out to Master P fordoing that.
He said, Hold on, nigga.
We came, we you niggas shittedon me.
You guys supposed to be you guysand girls supposed to be by Paul
in No Limit, but then you, youknow, we we gon we gonna forgive
ya.
(01:06:33):
But I, you know, everybody usethis platform that I'm pitting
in place for you to start yourown shit.
Me X went ahead and did thewhole album.
Uh uh the Everybody got togetherand did a whole compilation.
Everybody.
The producer, everybody gottogether and did the
compilation.
The fiend, the producer, me X,everybody got together and did
(01:06:54):
their own thing, man.
And uh Master P had a separateproject from that.
And the Master P project waskind of old, but he said, yo,
why wouldn't I re-release it?
He re-released it.
So I'm telling everybody, ifyou're an artist, please
re-release your music.
Please do.
Now I'm not gonna, you know, I'mnot gonna sit on here, untold
stories, and talk about shit youguys know.
(01:07:15):
We're not gonna talk aboutRomeo, we're not gonna talk
about Master P beautifuldaughter that passed away.
We're not gonna talk about noneof that.
We we will talk about this.
Everybody's family have mentalhealth problems, everybody's
family have something deep goingon.
This I ask everybody to pray foreverybody.
You're only gonna do what youcould do.
You cannot save the world.
It don't matter who the personis, you can't save the world.
(01:07:36):
And Master P stand by hisdaughter do all that pain and
hurt, and he only could do whathe could do.
And a lot of people try to blameme.
Yo, you Master P, how can thathappen?
Man, it can happen to all of us.
It can happen to the it canhappen to all of us.
This nigga calling me, what thefuck is stop calling me?
It can happen to all of us.
You can never, never, never, um,never, never understand when
(01:08:02):
tragedy could come to you.
So I tell that person, we all ison the same shit.
It can happen to me, it canhappen to you, it can happen to
everybody.
We know no one is but abovetragedy.
And that's real shit.
You know, everybody thinkingbecause you got millions of
dollars and you're almost abillionaire, you're living in a
big mansion, that tragedy.
(01:08:23):
Master P know he came from that.
Coming from New Orleans, comingfrom where he came from,
shouted, you know, C Murder isstill fighting for his life.
And that's that's the let's fixsomething real quick.
Untold stories of Master P.
I want to fix this.
Master P been, everybody'ssaying that Master P turned his
back on C Murder.
And I'm gonna, all theinformation I got from the PRs
(01:08:46):
and everything, and Master Ppeople.
Master P been fighting for theappeals.
Who you think been paying forthe lawyers?
And everybody say, yo, C Murdersaid P P been behind the scenes
fighting for his brother.
So I don't want no one, youknow, which one thing I'll say
about P, he don't give a damnabout what nobody says.
I'm personally independent gonnatell you.
(01:09:07):
No one, no one like P will havehis brother sitting there
without fighting.
But when you locked up in in uhLouisiana, it's the worst place
that you could fight a pill at.
They're gonna say that it wasone thing, even if they wrong,
even though if something waswrong, they still gonna try to
keep it there.
It's all up to God now.
It's not up to it's not how muchmoney you got, it's up to God to
(01:09:30):
change whatever C Murder gotgoing on.
But I'm gonna say this, like Psaid it.
Sometimes when you recordcertain music, that could
convict you anyway.
There's a lot of shit that CMurder said in his music, that's
what the that's what the whenyou go for a pill, they listen
to your music, they listen tocertain, they try to pit things,
you know, they try to pit thingstogether to try to say you was
(01:09:53):
talking about a situation.
That's why I try to tell all mypeople, watch how you rapping,
because it could come back andhaunt your ass one day.
I had to tell myself that when Iwas out there rapping and shit.
But uh, untold stories of MasterP.
Um, he you know, you know, hegot all the products out, go
ahead and buy some rap snacks,go buy the cereal, go, go, go,
(01:10:14):
go go, go go just look up allthe adventures, go to Master P
Instagram page, you know,Instagram Master P.
Go support everything he hadgoing on.
His kids is playing ball, he'sstill coaching a college team.
Master P is doing a whole lot ofshit, man.
He's staying inveling.
He still um, you know, he likehe don't really want to do the
music shit.
He like, you know, he rather doproducts than uh deal with the
(01:10:36):
music shit.
He like the music shit, once itain't how it used to be.
A lot of people don't want towalk away from the shit, which I
would love to see Master Pstill, you know, do dipping and
dabbing and fuck with artists, like he still fuck with Alley
boy, but just to see him produceanother legacy, another dynasty
(01:10:57):
like he did with No Limit backin the 90s and the 2000s and the
80s and shit like that.
I would love to see that again.
I would love to see a dynastylike that.
I ain't seen nothing like that.
That Master P and Baby.
I gotta Puffy was a littledifferent, Bad Boy was a little
different.
But Master P and Baby rap a lot.
(01:11:19):
They produced the dynasties.
I'm not knocking puffy.
Puppy had the bad boy shit wasmore, you know, it was more
major label, record label, yousign an artist and sign all work
and don't work.
The the downside shit, and I'mnot knocking bad boy, but the
downsoft shit was more familyorder, it was more
family-driven, it was more likeyo, you we're gonna stick with
(01:11:42):
you.
It was more like it was no wham, bam, decky ma'am shit.
I saw that with I saw that withBad Boy.
And I don't know, I don't notwant to talk bad down about no
label, but I'm just gonna saywhat I saw.
And I it was it's a differencefrom rap a lot, cash money, and
no limit.
It's different from Bad Boy andand um all the other labels that
(01:12:03):
was up north that was ran by DefJam, Atlantic Records, and
Warner Brothers.
It was just a you could tell, pen like this, you could tell
who was independent, who wasmajor back then.
You could tell how how how hardMaster P and all the other
record independent record labelsfrom the South had to fight to
(01:12:25):
get their name out there.
And all the the all the uhrappers from the West Coast had
to fight.
Because I'm from the East Coast,y'all.
But I I know when I was backback back then before radio
changed what it is now, you youcan hear certain region music in
New York City.
You can hear one thing I willsay that's about the South.
(01:12:47):
When I went to the South, Iheard a lot of the New York and
up north music in the South.
But when you go to New York, younever heard the down south music
there.
Let's talk about it.
Because I'm from New Jersey.
I love I'm you know, I'm fromKiss FM, uh, B W B L S Hot 97.
I never heard the music I'mhearing now.
Now you could go to the now,it's like change, bro.
(01:13:09):
Now you go down to go to NewYork, you hear nothing but down
south music.
And people say, oh no, itchanged.
No.
The whole culture changed.
That that the lyrical rap andshit ain't working on commercial
radio now.
It is only on make shows.
Back then you could hear thatshit all day long.
You heard nothing but Ut Northmusic.
(01:13:30):
Or you heard Bad Boy, had theradio unlocked.
You had uh Murder Inc., you hadthey had the radio on lock.
You had La Face Records or orSocial Deaf.
One thing I would give SocialDepth, they you heard Social
Deaf music and you heard La FaceRecords music like um uh TLC and
(01:13:50):
uh the Brad and uh uh Bow Wowand shit like you heard that up
north because that's driven byColumbia Records.
It was driven by a major.
But if you had any kind ofindependent record company with
a major, a little bit of majordistribution, they was not
running radio.
Like Master P was not runningradio.
Only person that came close torunning radio from the south was
(01:14:12):
Cash Money.
They had the Universal behindthem, they had the, you know,
baby was doing what he had todo, they had all the commercial
hits to back that ass up and allthe other records that Cash
Money had.
That's why they thought they wasgonna win the roses.
But one thing I will say thisbefore we get into the video
part of this show, one thingCash Money was lacking that
(01:14:34):
night was unity.
Anybody learn anything from thisuntold stories?
Master P had unity.
He continued to he know when tobring everybody together to make
it happen.
Even if everybody don't geteverything even if everybody
don't get along, guess what?
It looks like everybody getalong.
For the moment.
I saw Master P do the no limittour.
(01:14:57):
Everybody was on that goddamntour.
Because he tell you, listen, ifyou ain't gonna do this to get
this money, why are you here?
He like, nigga, I really don'tneed you here.
And all the people that you sawthat, you know, people like, yo,
what you know, what happened tothis person, what happened?
He didn't have everybody there.
But one thing about Master P, hestill, if you wasn't there, he
(01:15:19):
still played your record in thebackground.
If you wasn't at the verses, hestill made sure you had your
record played.
Like people like, what happenedwith Moby Dick?
I actually Moby Dick lived outhere in Atlanta, the one that
seen, Mr.
Ice Cream Man, that's Moby Dick.
He lived here.
He didn't have Moby Dick at theverses or on the tours, but he
(01:15:40):
all show all always played.
He didn't ever cut out Moby Dickversus his vocals.
He kept it on there.
And that to me, that shows thatMaster P is still paying homage
to the people that was with him.
Even if him and the singer MobyDick didn't get along, he made
sure his voice still was heardso he could get a piece of check
(01:16:01):
on the royalties, alright?
So shout out to Master P onthat.
I just wanna I I wanna put thatout there, because I I I love
the whole no limit era when Iwas in college, that's all I
listened to.
And uh when I when I got into myDJ career and I and I actually
met Master P, he's a good dude.
He have all the people that'saround him is OGs.
(01:16:22):
He has no young people runninghis business.
And shout out to Jay Tweezy, andRP to JPC, JPZ, um, J Jay
Tweasie um mother and father.
And um and Jay Tweasy was a gooddude, and he still is a good
dude.
And um I'm uh, you know, shoutout to Jay Tweasy, Master P
manager.
Now we're gonna get into thisvideo part of this, and um we
(01:16:44):
come back with I got some morenotes I gotta say before we sign
out.
But I think I did good.
I, you know, even though we ourvideo feed took forever to come
on, uh shout out I'm gonna shoutout to my um just like this.
I'm gonna shout out to myengineer, Skeletor, because he
was working so hard tonight.
Um and shout out to everybodythat's checking in, and um, I I
appreciate everybody for beingpatient.
(01:17:07):
And uh, we're gonna get into thevideo part of this this um
untold stories of Master P.
Let's go.
SPEAKER_09 (01:17:16):
How you like me now?
Go teeth when I smile, try totake me out to ghetto, but I'm
still buck wow.
Buckle up with us, knuckle upwith us, that's the code for the
wheel.
(01:17:52):
Ice cream.
SPEAKER_12 (01:18:00):
That's the ice cream
ice cream Mr.
SPEAKER_06 (01:18:22):
Ice Cream Mr.
Ice Cream, it's the ice cream.
Mr.
Ice Cream is the ice cream, Mr.
Ice Creek.
SPEAKER_09 (01:18:37):
That what makes us
different than the other record
companies, record labels outthere.
We independent, black owned, butwe family.
You know what I'm saying?
Silk is my brother, you knowwhat I'm saying?
See, Murder, that's my brother.
We all one big family, the wholetrue cousins, partners, we done
grew up together, you know whatI think.
That's what makes it differentthan the rest of the labels that
out there.
We all loyal to what we do,because uh no limit is like, I
(01:19:01):
mean, it ain't no limit to whatwe could do, you know.
We still we showed y'all whathappened on the Ice Cream Man
album.
They built number three onBillboard, and we show them how
players do it, and we still topten, top five on Billboard and
been doing this for a while.
I'm beef up in the game, I can'tsleep at night.
And Mama played because sheknows her boy ain't living
(01:19:23):
right.
And when I die, they say I'mgonna buy the gun.
Cause I refuse to be fucked upin this ghetto.
See, I be dripping on life tolike the damn trip.
And when I read that flip, 50 inthe 90s, don't go change.
I never thought I throw up to bethe double thing.
But in reality, I guess I damnit all.
(01:19:46):
This is the other day I put mybrother next to wall.
Yeah, they didn't kill thisdeep.
I know one day somebody gonnatry to kill a beat.
Then if they do, I guess it wasmy time to go.
But if they feel stupid aboutsome dead folk, it's not the
worst.
Can you feel me?
Then if you come out, you knowthe devil tryna kill me.
(01:20:09):

They might send me to the templedoing time that don't get me.
RIP homies.

Trapped in this hood erase by agrown trigger.

The way I work a triple B,right?
It's like a pig.
(01:21:52):
I wanna turn, I wanna make achange below, let my brother

I done seen a nigga lose hislife with a cube in your stone.
Every night, my AT bring a niggahome.

SPEAKER_06 (01:28:21):

SPEAKER_09 (01:29:46):
When I ride with the
club, cruising with my girls,
even rolling with dubs.
I need dubs, 22, 24s, shining.
I don't want to do business withpeople that don't have
integrity.
I don't want to do business withpeople that don't believe in the
