When we are committed to loving the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, and all our strength, and focus our efforts on Him, then it is easy to do the right thing. When we don't focus our love on Him, we can do things our way and let our emotions get the best of us. This message is especially for me because I blow it too.

What do we do when we feel betrayed by a trusted friend?
Learn how to love them anyways as Jesus loved us. 
See Judas betrayed Jesus, and yet he was still chosen and walked with Christ. 
They were friends, but Judas had a weakness, and that was money. 
It is hard to love others when they have wronged us. But God is so good and loves us even when we are faithless.

As parents we wish we could see everything our kid does or be with them whenever they are going through a hard time. But that fact is, we cannot. We cannot be everywhere with them, and this can be alarming, especially as they grow to become young adults. But God, is so good, that when we are asleep He is not. In fact, God sees all and helps us when we need the awakening when our child is up to no good or if they are in danger.
