Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello everyone.
I'm Mariana, creator of the DayDynamic Show and your guide, to
remind you to align with yourown dynamic well-being every day
.
Today we're focusing on ourunscripted and unpredictable
off-the-cuff recording entitledSomething to Do with the Gap.
(00:25):
With this show, it'll help youplant the seed so you can become
more aware around this topic.
It realizes noone-size-fits-all path.
Choose what serves you andfeels right for you along the
way, because it is ouroff-the-cuff usually.
(00:46):
I would like set the tone andask you to focus for this time
together and be open and committo listening to the show and to
find your balance on thissubject, which I just did in a
roundabout way.
But we'll start with thequestion to our listeners.
It's like have you ever heardabout this gap?
(01:09):
So it's either closing the gapor opening the gap.
Have you heard of that?
It seems to be spoken aboutmore lately and it's been around
for a while.
It's something that Idefinitely just wanted to talk
about in this off-the-cuffbecause, again, like always,
(01:31):
it's unpredictable, it'sunscripted.
We're just focusing onsomething that's up in my
awareness right now and feellike it would be of benefit to
our listeners.
We always usually start whenwe're talking about something
that maybe others don't fullyunderstand, and that is usually
(01:55):
with some kind of definition.
So, closing the gap, openingthe gap, let's just sort of see.
When I did the research on whatthis gap part meant, because
I've been using it for a longtime, but it's more on the
closing the gap side, it's sortof.
Well, let's just start here.
The gap refers to thedifference between where you are
(02:18):
and where you want to be, andit's rather important to
identify and acknowledge thisgap in your life.
And where you are is whatpeople call your reality, and
where you want to be is usuallybecause you feel like you'll
(02:38):
feel better being somewhere else.
Now people can refer to thisgap as like a goal.
You know, like I want to be.
You know I'm here and I want tobe over there Like it's a goal,
something that you work towards.
It's just that the verbiageright now is closing the gap,
(02:59):
because when you think aboutfrom point A to point B, or you
think about going from some cityto some city or flying from
some city to some city that'sfrom point A to point B the
closing the gap is going on thejourney of it.
(03:19):
Now how that journey unfolds iswhere you come in on a personal
level, because it does have alot to do with your beliefs,
your feelings, your thoughts, your intentions, your choices,
your decisions along the way.
(03:40):
But before let's just backtrackon that just a little bit.
First of all, you might want toask yourself you know, before
you do the, you know the gapagain, point A, point B is why
do you want what you want?
Have you ever asked yourselfthat question?
And we've.
We may have already talkedabout it somewhere in one of our
(04:03):
podcasts or in one of ourvehicle videos or blogs or any
of the resources that we have iswhy do you want what you want?
I mean, that is a really validquestion to ask yourself, the
why.
Because sometimes it's likelet's just take money for an
(04:23):
example Well, I want to win, orI want to have, or I want to
receive, I want to whatever say.
Let's just say a thousanddollars, because that's what you
need at that moment.
It could be less amount, higheramount, but just use this and
put your amount in.
So why do you want it?
(04:44):
It might be to pay bill or paysomeone back or buy something
for yourself or for others.
So there's always the why thereas to why do you want it?
Now, one thing I want to sayabout the why is if you're doing
it for the sake of some form oflack, like you feel you're
(05:06):
missing, or there's some kind oflack in your life because you
don't have what you want to have, or you haven't got close that
gap from point A to point B,then you're still going to
attract more of that.
Law of attraction pays a bigpart in all of our lives and
(05:26):
everything that we do.
If you want to be aware enoughto understand the law of
attraction and how that works, like attracts like.
But if you're doing it for thesake of you, know you just this
is what you want and this iswhat you believe and this is
what you expect and this is whatyou know what's going to happen
and you're not having anyresistance or anything around it
(05:51):
or bombarding yourself withyour own beliefs and feelings
and thoughts that it couldn'thappen.
I don't know how it's going tohappen.
The worry, the doubt, the oh, mygoodness, how is this going to
unfold If you don't have all ofthat and you can just like trust
that would be amazing and nottrusting anything outside of
(06:18):
yourself other than the universe, because universe, you're a
part of it, so it's a part ofyou.
But more about the trust ofjust knowing, because you've
done the why.
It's because something isexpanding, it's you're becoming
more, it's an evolution.
(06:39):
It's not because you're missingsomething or there's a lack of
it, because, again, likeattracts like, so it'll just
bring you more of what your truefeelings are.
So you might have to do alittle bit of work on that.
You might have to clean up yourvibe, your energy, your
thoughts, your beliefs, yourfeelings around what you want,
(07:02):
just to make sure that you arein fact doing it from the purity
of again wanting to have andbecome more, like a think of the
definition of dynamic, and it'salways becoming better, more.
(07:26):
Well, that's what part of thisclosing the gap could be.
If that's how you want to lookat it, it's you're, you're at
where you're at and that's yourreality right now.
But that's the past.
Now and now it's about where doyou want to go and where's your
point be so it's not like, oh,okay, well, no sense asking for
(07:51):
it, because I've tried to askbefore and it just doesn't show
up for me, it doesn't manifestfor me, it doesn't do anything.
Well, that's the past.
That's a belief that you needto like, readdress for yourself.
You need to find your balancearound that because you want to
have new realities come forward, you want to tell that new story
(08:15):
, you want to feel the essenceof what it's going to be like.
So later on we'll sort of tellyou the process or take home
tools that will help you withthat.
Okay, so let's go on to thingsthat play a part in your closing
(08:38):
of this gap, and we'vementioned a few of them already.
Let's talk about again love, attraction, like attracts, like
thoughts and emotions attractsimilar energy, similar
experiences to you.
Now, another thing is youremotions.
(08:59):
They play a big part becausethey're your guidance when
you're at point A and you'remaking your way to point B.
Sometimes I mean giving yoursituation, your and what you
want to close the gap on that.
That could be like a minutething, that could be a day thing
, that could be a month thing oryear thing.
(09:21):
So there's no timeframe on hereother than the ability for you
to allow it in.
Emotions will play a part andwhen you have, like, the
positive emotions, it makes youfeel like you're in alignment,
(09:43):
it makes you feel happy.
So that shows you that you'reon your way to your closing the
gap and on your way to thatpoint B.
If you're feeling negative stuff, then that just gives you an
indication that it's time to,like I said, clean up the vibes
around it, clean up your beliefs, your energies and just be open
(10:04):
to a new understanding and anew experience.
Now I want to say this rightnow this is all about you.
It's about no one else.
Don't try to manifest forsomeone, don't try to close the
gap for someone.
You can be the example and thenthey can ask you and then you
(10:29):
can help them that way, bytrying to do something for
someone else Doesn't always work, and I'm not just talking like
the little things, like ofcourse I'll do the laundry for
my husband or I'll help mydaughter with something, or
whatever it might be Like.
That's just like in the momentstuff.
(10:50):
I'm talking about trying tomanifest or close the gap for
someone else.
It is a personal thing.
So just focusing on you willultimately help everyone around
you and you will be the example, and then people will go well,
how did you do that?
(11:10):
Wow, good, can you share someof that with me and whether you
want to share.
That's up to you.
So a few other things that playa part is we talked a little bit
about resistance and it's likeyou have this resistance
sometimes and again that isbecause of your past, of your
(11:32):
beliefs, of your feelings, ofyour thoughts that are around
that it's like a barrier toletting your gap close.
And it's more about againstaying in the knowing and the
positive and the trusting of theprocess, because I always heard
and I will always believe it'slike when you ask the universe,
(11:55):
the universe delivers and thenyou need to allow it to unfold
into your life.
So, like I said, trusting theprocess a little bit and just
believing in that, I mean justthink of the times when you have
asked for something and it'sshown up and you're like I don't
(12:17):
know how that happened, butthank you so much.
That's the universe having yourback and going hey, yeah, you
just allowed it to flow in foryou.
And the other thing that playsa part is your gratitude and
your appreciation, becausehaving gratitude, appreciation
(12:38):
for what you presently have, andthen the excitement and
anticipation and the expectationof what is coming is awesome
and feeling the essence of thatand appreciating it and
appreciating anything that mightbe like it or things that have
happened before or to otherpeople, and just seeing that,
(12:58):
hey, they wanted this, theirpoint A to point B closed in the
gap and they've received it.
So appreciation really doeslift your energy, lifts your
vibes and it really does help inthe manifestation process in
your life and closing that gap, because you want to close the
(13:19):
gap, because you again.
The point A to point B is notnecessarily a place.
It could be a thing, it couldbe an event, an experience, a
journey, whatever it might be.
I just say point A to point Bbecause it's easiest way for me
to bring it across.
The other thing that may play apart is just being similar to
(13:45):
what I just said, with thatgratitude and appreciation is
just being in alignment andbeing at peace with what you
have and where you are now andappreciating everything else
around it.
And then, when you appreciatewhere you are because you always
know, and I always say, thepower is in the now.
(14:06):
What story do you want to tellnow?
What peace do you want to have?
What do you want to appreciatenow?
What do you want to be gratefulfor now?
Let that be a thing for you isappreciation, alignment, trust,
following your emotions, tellingthe new story, having a good
(14:28):
vibe all of the things that arearound that day all play a part.
Now I'll tell you a quick story, an example, all intertwined
into why this.
When I was younger, I know whatI wanted.
I wanted to travel and exploreand to live in other places and
(14:50):
just go out there and have thisamazing dynamic life.
And I wanted to be somewhereelse.
And I didn't know where thatsomewhere else was until knowing
one person that I had had metin an exchange trip that said if
(15:10):
you ever want to come out, thenby all means I will offer you a
place to stay to help you getyou on your feet.
Just trust it that that's whereI was supposed to be.
So that's sort of that gap inbetween where you are and where
you want to be, because where Iwas was fine, but I didn't feel
(15:33):
like it was stimulating anythingthat I really wanted and that I
could see and hold the visionfor myself around that you ask,
and now this person's giving youthis opportunity.
So the universe will alwayshave your back, always give you
signs and if it feels right, doit.
(15:55):
If it doesn't feel right, don't.
It's simple as that.
Like we always say that there'snot a one size fits all path.
Just choose what serves you andfeels right for you.
But as far as closing the gap, Ihad to ask myself why did I
(16:17):
want this?
First, all the things in therethat played a part.
Once I decided, and then I wasable to get from point A to B,
probably within.
Well, we graduated and then Istayed about six more months
(16:38):
where I lived and then afterthat I was like, okay, it all
unfolded and it was time and Iwas ready to go.
So I was able to close that gapand then have been on a journey
of life ever since, the processwhich is part of our take home
(17:00):
tools.
I mean, this is the way I lookat it.
It might be different Be awareof your desires and your
aspirations, clarify the why.
We sort of went over that.
Why do you want it?
How do you want to feel with it?
Can you envision it?
However, you want to do thatand really feel the essence of
it and then know that you wantto go from point A to point B,
(17:25):
which is again where you are, towhere you want to be, because
it is a choice.
First and again, like I said, understanding the why and why
you want to do it.
It really does clarify if youdo really want to do it.
So that's really a good step.
And telling someone else aboutwhat you want to do and then see
(17:48):
how it feels when you say itout loud or see how it feels
when you write it down, reallydoes help it, because it's out
of your just your mind, in youremotional set, and it's on paper
or out into the universe bytalking to someone else as well.
Visualize and feel the emotionsassociated with achieving your
(18:12):
goals.
And then I always find the wordelimination Like when someone
says just eliminate doubt ornegative thoughts, let's change,
eliminate to replace and thenfocus on your new story.
(18:32):
Focus on what feels right, feels the essence of it, feel
what the aspects of it that aregoing to be what you want, and
then take that inspired action.
Look for the guidance, look forthe signs, look for the
(18:54):
unexpected.
Don't always think logical anddon't always go.
Okay, I'm looking for a sign.
Okay, are you giving me a sign?
Is that a sign?
Is this a sign?
Like you, you'll know when it'sright for you, because the
universe will give it to you inso many different ways and
nothing will stop you from doingit.
I remember in my story thatthere was nothing going to stop
(19:20):
me from moving from the EastCoast to the West Coast and
start on this adventure.
I just knew everything waslining up, I was aligned, I was,
you know, I took that time toreally be with it and I was just
like yes and yes, and theneverything just fell into place
perfectly.
So I hope that's really givenyou an opportunity to understand
(19:49):
closing the gap as I know it tobe.
I know that there's whoevertalks about it obviously has
their own take on it, andperfect, listen to them all,
listen to everyone that talksabout this gap, and then decide
which one serves you or piecesof each one will serve you.
So, then again, no one sizefits all path.
(20:13):
Choose what serves you andfeels right for you around this
and then send us a message, sendus a note, to say, hey, this is
how I'm closing the gap, thisis how I chose to do it.
Now, one little point is I doknow that we did a podcast and
(20:34):
maybe even a blog, and it wascalled the known to the unknown
to the known and the space inbetween.
So that is like that gap whenyou're where you're at, that's
the known and where you want tobe is the unknown.
But then, once you get to whereyou want to be, you make it the
(20:56):
known again until you wantsomething else and then you
close the gap on that.
This is not a one time thing, this is.
It can work for any subject, anything in your life, but again
, it's you, it's an inner thing,it's an inside thing.
It's not something that you cando for someone else.
(21:17):
They will see the benefit.
They will get the benefitbecause your energy is going to
shift and it's fun, it's ajourney.
If you're impatient, then it'sjust going to take longer,
because the universe is likeimpatient, impatient, that's a
lot.
Okay, give us more of that.
Make your way longer.
I'm talking about me, notanyone else For this.
(21:42):
Author Kaffin, we trust thatwhat has been shared in this
recording today.

You get to point B, then youwant another point A to get to
point B, like it'll always bemore, because you're always
evolving, you're always becoming.
It's an everyday thing andfeeling good along the way will
certainly help it manifestfaster for you.
