Krantje van het Noorden ging nat met nepophef door het verzinnen van nieuws over een zogenaamd geheim rapport over toerisme. Half Groningen op achterste benen op een paar honderd extra toeristen per dag.
Om bij toerismepromotie te helpen de dorpen van Groningen elk hun eigen identiteit te geven zijn DeMannetjes een samenwerking met MarketingGroningen aangegaan en een paar gave commercials gemaakt voor Bedum, Appingedam en Hoogezand-Sappemeer.
Ringweg Zuid is open en dat mocht ook wel eens na 7 jaren file! Groningen is eindelijk een autostad! Gezinus blijkt er helemaal niets van af te weten maar heeft wel een mening, zoals dat tegenwoordig hoort.
Ja en dan schokkend nieuws: Burgemeester Schuiling stapt op, hij was er helemaal klaar mee. En dat snappen we wel. Dan zit je lekker wekenlang in Italië en dan moet je op maandagochtend met ambtenaren vergaderen en vegetarisch lunchen. Wie gaat hem opvolgen? DeMannetjes noemen namen.
