The true Teacher exemplifies what they are teaching, and brings you to the point where you no longer need a Teacher at all.

Also, the true Teacher will not diminish you, will not humiliate or embarrass you, nor will they ask anything of you, and they will always be honest, even if harsh. They will always exhibit kindness.

The true Teacher is in you. The Teacher reflects this back to you.

The true Teacher is always there.
