The next three or four messages will be based on differences. What are the differences between specific end time events? Since we are told more than 30 times to be watching we might want to know when prophetic scriptures occur so that we know the time of His visitation. Ha…no but more accurately the timeline of His return within reason.

These next three or four messages will not be long but packed with spiritual clarity. We will lightly touch on the 1st and 2nd judgement as all of the 1st and 2nd messages are somewhat related so it cannot be helped. I will be doing a fuller message on the two judgements in a future message.

Let’s get it!

I asked AI when the first resurrection occurs will it be occurring at the time of the rapture? It stated the following:

Views among Christians differ, but many traditions teach that the resurrection of believers who have died occurs at the exact same time as the rapture.

The Connection Between the Rapture and Resurrection

Happening Together: Passages like 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 state that Jesus will descend, the dead in Christ will rise first, and then living believers will be caught up together with them.

Let’s look at the whole scripture:

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 - 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

Blessed be the God and Father ofyour Lord Jesus Christ who has
blessed you with every spiritualblessing and the heavenly places

(00:35):
in Christ.
Just as he chose you and himbefore the foundation of the
world, that you should be holyand without blame before him in
love, having predestined you toadoption as our son or daughter
by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure
of his will, which he purposedin himself, to the praise of the
glory of his grace, by which hemade you accepted and beloved.
In him ye have redemptionthrough his blood, the

(00:55):
forgiveness of sins, accordingto the riches of his grace which
he made to abound towards you inall wisdom and prudence, having
made known to you the mystery ofhis will, that in the
dispensation of the fullness ofthe times he might gather
together in one all things inChrist, both which are in heaven
and which are on earth in him.
I ask that the God of our LordJesus Christ, the Father of
Glory, may give to you thespirit of wisdom and revelation,

(01:15):
and the knowledge of the mysteryof him, and to the deepest
knowledge of him that you arewilling and able to receive,
that the eyes of yourunderstanding would be open
wider, and that you would beenlightened to who he is, that
you may know what is the hope ofhis calling, what are the riches
of the glory of his inheritancein you, and what is the
exceeding greatness of his powertowards you, who believe
according to the working of hismighty power, which he worked in

(01:36):
Christ when he raised him fromthe dead and seated him at his
right hand in heavenly places, that he would grant that you
would be strengthened with mightthrough his spirit in the inner
man, and into your spirit andheart, consistently walking in
the spirit, so that you would beable to stand against the
appetites of your flesh, thecorrupted spirit of this world,
the devil and his demons, andany in all fleshly desires and

(01:57):
temptations.
I pray that your love may aboundmore and more in all
discernment, that you mayapprove the things that are
excellent, that you may be realabout your Christianity, and
unoffendable until the day ofChrist, being filled with the
fruits of righteousness, love, joy, peace, long suffering,
kindness, goodness,faithfulness, gentleness, and
self control, which are by JesusChrist to the Holy Spirit to the

(02:18):
glory and praise of God.
I ask that you may be filledwith the knowledge of his will
and all wisdom and spiritualunderstanding, that you may walk
worthy of the Lord, fullypleasing him, being fruitful in
every good work, strengthenedwith all might, according to his
glorious power, giving thanks tothe Father who has qualified you
to be partakers of theinheritance of the saints, who
walk by the Spirit and in thelight.
I pray that your hearts may beencouraged, being knit together

(02:40):
in love and unity, and that youwould attain to all the riches
of the full assurance ofunderstanding, both of the
Father and of Christ, in whomare hidden all the treasures of
wisdom and knowledge.
I thank my God always concerningyou for the grace of God which
has been given to each of mylisteners by Christ Jesus, that
you are enriched in everythingby him, in all utterance and all
knowledge, so that you do notcome short in obtaining or
operating in your calling andpurpose, nor in using any

(03:02):
spiritual gifts or talents toperform mighty miracle signs and
wonders, and that we would dothe greater works of Jesus yet
to be accomplished, that wewould be found eagerly waiting
for the continued revelation ofour Lord Jesus, who will confirm
you to the end, that you may beblameless in the near coming of
the day of our Lord.
God is faithful by whom you arecalled into the fellowship of
His Son Jesus.
Okay, so now therefore, mysisters and brothers in Christ,

(03:24):
when things get tough, thinkabout whatever things are true,
noble, just, pure, lovely, andwhatever things are of a good
report.
If there is any virtue, and ifthere is anything praiseworthy,
meditate on these things alone.
I pray that in these very end ofend time days that you would let
your love be without hypocrisy.
Show people your faith by yourworks and service and love, hate
and loathe what is evil, clingto what is good and righteous,

(03:46):
be kindly affectionate to oneanother with brotherly love, in
honor, giving preference to oneanother, not lagging in
diligence, fervent and fullyengulfed in spiritual fire,
serving the Lord, rejoicing inhope, walking in the peace of
God, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in
prayer, distributing to theneeds of the saints, that is
each other, and that you wouldbe given the hospitality.

(04:07):
May the God of patience andcomfort grant you to be like
minded towards one another, according to Christ Jesus, that
we learn to be of one mind andone spirit, striving to get
along no matter whatdisagreements we may encounter,
operating completely and fullyin love, always striving for the
working out of God's specificwill for each of our lives,
while working in partnershipwith each other within the
church and the Holy Spirit, asHe manifests His miracle signs

(04:29):
and wonders through the dailyactivities of our ministry and
kingdom work, and while we alsogo out preaching the gospel in
the word indeed.
Let us love and serve oneanother, our enemy, and those
who wouldn't expect us to do so,considering each person better
than ourselves.
Bind up any words or thoughtsthat are contrary to the love of
God, or which would set you backin your Christian walk.
Guard your hearts from anythingthat would hinder the growth of
your character.

(04:49):
Never forget that you can do allthings in Christ, and never
forget this means all things.
Step out of faith today and walkwith God and with each other,
being assured that nothing willseparate you from Him as long as
you abide in Him.
Call those things that don'texist as though they do.
Remember the faith of God ofwhich we have created the
universe by the Rama and LogosWord of God, so that what is
seen was not made out of thethings that are visible.

(05:11):
All that you need for this lifeis invisible until you apply
your faith to receive it, butmake sure you make your requests
known to God without fear, doubting, or unbelief.
Always remember that he that isin you is greater than he that
is in the world.
Be more than a conqueror today, submitting to the will of God
and everything.
Never forget that you can do allthings through Christ who will
strengthen you this very today.
Let each of us expressuncompromising love towards one

(05:33):
another in humility whilemaintaining a teachable spirit,
seeking to grow, no matter howmuch it challenges our current
thinking.
I pray that God would give youthe revelation within this
message that He intends you toreceive with the understanding.
Now to him who is able to keepyou from stumbling and to
present you faultless before thepresence of his glory with
exceeding joy, to God ourSavior, who alone is wise, be

(05:54):
glory and majesty, dominion andpower, both now and forever.
In Jesus' name we pray amen.
The title of this message is TheDifference Between the First and
Second Resurrection.
The next three or four messageswill be based on differences.
What are the differences betweenspecific end time events?
Since we are told more thanthirty times to be watching, we
might want to know whenprophetic scriptures occur so

(06:17):
that we know the time of hisvisitation, know them more
accurately, the time of hisreturn within reason.
These next three or fourmessages will not be long, but
packed with spiritual clarity.
We will lightly touch on thefirst and second judgment, as
all of the first and secondmessages are somewhat related,
so it cannot be helped that wewill see parts of one in another
part of another.

(06:37):
I will be doing a furthermessage on the two or three
judgments in a future message.
Let's get it.
I asked the eye when the firstresurrection occurs, will it be
occurring at the time of therapture?
It's stated the following.
Views among Christians differ, but many traditions teach that
the resurrection of believerswho have died occurs at the
exact same time as the rapture.
The connection between therapture and the resurrection

(06:58):
happening together.
Passages like 1 Thessaloniansfour, sixteen through seventeen
state that Jesus will descend, the dead in Christ will rise
first, and then living believerswill be caught up together with
them.
Let's look at the wholescripture.
For the Lord himself willdescend from heaven with a
shout, with the voice of anarchangel, and with a trumpet of

(07:20):
God, and the dead in Christ willrise first.
Then we who are alive and remainshall be caught up together with
them in the clouds to meet theLord in the air, and thus we
shall always be with the Lord.
Two key components is that wewill go to him.
He will not be returning toearth at this time of the first
resurrection.
The other thing is that hestates, we shall always be with

(07:41):
the Lord.
Right then at the rapture andresurrection, we will be with
him always.
The first resurrection is nottalking about Jesus, though
technically he was the first andonly to be resurrected and still
living.
This is what separates him fromall other false gods and beliefs
about those who falsely claimthat they were the Savior of the
world.
They died and stayed dead.

(08:03):
So in essence, they couldn'tsave themselves.
So how are they going to saveus, right?
Jesus did not die and stay dead.
And we have over 500 witnessesto this account.
1 Corinthians 15, 6.
The first resurrection,Revelation 26 describes the
first resurrection as a raisingof the righteous.
Many teachers view this group asincluding the church age

(08:24):
believers during the rapture, asI do as well, because it can be
scripturally supported.
Revelation 26.
Blessed and holy is he who ispart in the first resurrection.
Over such the second death hasno power, but they shall be
priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a
thousand years.
So you see, we will be beingtrained during our stay in
heaven to rule and reign withChrist after the first

(08:46):
resurrection.
After the first resurrectionslash rapture of the church, the
trumpet and bold judgments ofGod kick off the seven year
tribulation.
We who have been raptured andresurrected will be being judged
for our righteous works.
It is the first of twojudgments.
Now the first resurrection isthe bodily resurrection of
believers to eternal life, occurring at Christ's return.

(09:09):
This is not his final return, nor does he touch earth, as
stated again in the followingscripture.
For the Lord Himself willdescend from heaven with a
shout, with the voice of anarchangel, and with the trumpet
of God, and the dead in Christwill raise first.
Then we who are alive and remainshall be caught up together with

(09:30):
them in the clouds, to meet theLord in the air, and thus we
shall always be with the Lord.
The second resurrection is theresurrection of the unrighteous
occurring more than a thousandyears later to face final
judgment and the second death.
The distinct features of boththe first and second
resurrection events are asfollows The first resurrection,
who was raised?

(09:50):
Believers and martyrs who belongto Christ.
Timing at the second coming ofJesus initiating the millennial
reign, often associated with therapture.
Now this is not going toinitiate the millennial reign
because the earth will be goingthrough the seven year
tribulation event.
I believe this assessmentassumed that everyone's going to
be going through the tribulationevent, which is clearly
disproven in the Bible.

(10:11):
My message titled Velasa Rapturetalks more about this in detail.
I have done additional messageson the rapture, and you can find
them in my podcast library formore information.
Back to the definition.
Outcome.
Participants receive glorifiedbodies, are judged favorably,
and will not be subject to thesecond death, eternal separation

(10:31):
from God.
Scriptural reference describedin Revelation twenty, four
through six as a blessing.
And I saw thrones, and they saton them and judgment was
committed to them.
Then I saw the souls of thosewho had been beheaded for their
witness to Jesus and for theWord of God, who had not
worshipped the beast or hisimage, and had not received his
mark on their foreheads or ontheir hands, and they lived and

(10:52):
reigned with Christ for athousand years, but the rest of
the dead did not live againuntil the thousand years were
finished.
This is the first resurrection.
Blessed and holy is he who ispart in the first resurrection,
over such the second death hasno power.
But they shall be priests of Godand of Christ, and shall reign
with him a thousand years.
The second resurrection, who wasraised?

(11:14):
The unbelievers and the wicked, whose names are not found in the
book of life.
Let's explore that statement forclarity.
The primary scripture thatsupports this statement is
Revelation twenty, twelvethrough fifteen.
This passage describes the greatwhite throne judgment, where the
dead are resurrected to facefinal judgment.
More on this event in a futuremessage.

(11:34):
And I saw the dead, great andsmall, standing before the
throne, and books were opened.
Another book was opened, whichis the book of life.
The sea gave up the dead andwere in it, and death and Hades
gave up the dead that were inthem, and each person was judged
according to what they had done.
Anyone whose name was not foundwritten in the book of life was
thrown into the lake of fire.

(11:56):
Supporting cross references,John 5, 28 through 29, Jesus
explicitly teaches that thewicked will be raised to face
judgment, calling it theresurrection of condemnation or
judgment.
Revelation 21, eight and twentyone, verse twenty-seven
clarifies exactly who thesepeople are, explicitly naming
the unbelieving, the vile, andthe wicked, while stating that

(12:20):
only those written in the Lamb'sBook of Life will enter the new
Jerusalem.
Daniel twelve two, an oldtestament parallel stating that
when the dead awake, some willrise to everlasting life, and
others to shame and everlastingcontempt.
Jesus is your book of life'ssignature.
Rejecting him means no name andthe only book that will matter
at that time.

(12:41):
Also again, just as a reminder, look up the scriptures that are
simply summarized so that youcan gain a fuller picture.
The second judgment timing isafter the thousand year
millennial reign.
Outcome, the dead are broughtbefore the great white throne
judgment, where they are judgedaccording to their deeds and
face eternal condemnation.
Yes, again we will discuss theberm and the great white throne

(13:03):
judgment in another message.
Suffice to say, the great whitethrone judgment is not the
desired judgment of God that youwant to encounter.
Let's close in prayer.
May the Lord make you increaseand abound in love to one
another and to all, so that hemay establish your heart
blameless in holiness beforeyour God and Father at the
coming of the Lord Jesus Christwith all his saints.
Now may the God of peace, theone in whom we call wonderful,

(13:24):
counselor, mighty God,everlasting Father, the Prince
of Peace, may He Himselfsanctify you completely, and may
your whole spirit, soul, andbody be preserved blameless at
the coming of our Lord JesusChrist.
To our Lord of Lords and ourKing of Kings, to our high and
lifted up great eyed priest, whohas once and for all paid the
price, that you might see andhear God, may He hear and
respond to our prayers.
To our God we stand in pray asHe too always lives to make

(13:46):
intercession for you, whileseated at the right hand of the
Father.
May the God of peace who broughtup our Lord Jesus from the dead,
the great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the
everlasting covenant, make youcomplete in every good work to
do his will, working in you whatis well pleasing in his sight,
through Jesus Christ to whom beglory forever and ever.
Now to him we was able to doexceedingly abundantly above all

(14:06):
that we ask or think, accordingto the power that works in us.
To him be glory in the church byChrist Jesus to all generations.
Forever and ever, amen.
Well that's it for today.
Remember, it's not what you findwrong or disagree with regarding
these messages, but what you cantake away from it.
Together we can do more toimpact the kingdom than if we
work alone.
Let's flip the script and stillkill and destroy the works of

(14:26):
the enemy and create space forthe light of light to shine
through into people's lives.
Plant a seed and click on thelike and subscribe buttons.
Repost on your social mediaplatforms and help us to make
disciples.
Link this message out or teachfrom it in your Bible study,
your life or subgroup.
And yes, even in your church, you can be assured it comes from
one call to teach.
And though imperfect, you havethe Word of God to use to test

(14:48):
everything I say.
Let's build this ministrytogether.
Thanks to see you next time inDeep Waters.
