All right, Hey, it's DennisDavis with iHeartRadio and we're here with one
of the contenders for Rookie of theYear the Axfinity Series. Mister Chandler Smith
is with us. Welcome, Iappreciate it. Thank you. You're currently
third in the point standings of theAffinity Series. You're in contention for Rookie
of the Year. Tell us abouthow this would feel like deja vu all
over again for you. You're referringto last year, yes, yeah,

(00:25):
yeah, no, I mean Ifeel like my experience is definitely a lot
more than what it was the previousyears that I've been racing full time,
so that experience pay it off atranslator over a year is just a completely
different atmosphere of how to race whenyou're racing for points each weekend, and
just being smart and precise about thedecisions of moves that you make, so
all that stuff adds up and that'swhy we're sitting third. Darlington is definitely

(00:47):
a racetrack with its own charm. What are the keys to racing here at
Darlington? Yeah, I mean beingthere at the end is obviously one of
the biggest first things. Just beingable to make it there to the end.
Keep the tires on a longevity isalways going to be a thing here
Darlington. But I haven't just ina fire off speed where you don't believe
too much. But yeah, Ilove this racetrack though a lot. It's
one of my favorite racetracks. I'mexcited to be here, Collie raising in
my number sixteen Camaro. Things thatkeep you motivated, things that keep you

(01:11):
focused, things that keep you stayingfresh mentally. What are the secrets to
just staying on top and being ata high level. Yeah, I think
separation from the atmosphere itself is big. You know, I have a kid,
a wife on my own, andthey're they're probably all the motivation that
I need and whatnot. So havingseparation and being able to get myself separated

(01:34):
from racing for a little bit,be a family man and put the cat
back on when it needs to beback on is I'd say he has been
pretty big for myself. And nowlooking ahead, of course, we're racing
in Darlington this weekend, but youalso have plans ahead for North Wilkesboro.
Tell us a sneak beak into thefuture. Yeah, it's gonna be cool.
It's gonna have a lot of tirefall off, more than Darlington does
and it's gonna be a really coolevent. That trophy they just released a

(01:57):
picture of the other day and it'sawesome. With this being the big throwback
weekend. What would you say isyour favorite thing about the Throwback Weekend here
in Darlington. Yeah, just allthe different paint schemes, all the variety
and the stories of what each paintscheme kind of tells. Each one has
its own little story and choice tous, so it's pretty neat and good
history for our sport. One ofthe drivers that you absolutely have to watch

(02:20):
and he's always fun to see onthe track, mister Chandler Smith. And
thank you so much for joining usright here on iHeartRadio. I appreciate it.
Thank you.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
