Andrew and Dan discuss their latest project Deviant a podcast that focuses on societies scariest human predators.  Detective Hammond takes a deep look with Andrew and Dan at their first season target; Israel Keyes.

Keyes was a serial killer, bank robber, burglar, kidnapper, arsonist and sexual predator who murdered at least three people.  That victim number may be as high as 11 to 20 people as authorities continue to unravel the truth behind his baffling, mercurial and deeply troubling story. It is known that Keyes committed dozens of felonies including murder, kidnapping, armed robbery, arson, rape, and burglary across the United States from July 2001 to February 2012.  The entire truth behind the story that is Israel Keyes may never be fully known as he committed suicide in jail in Alaska on December 2, 2012.

Andrew Iden is a writer, producer and journalist who has spent 20 years at CNN and HLN as a senior producer, writer, assignment editor, as well as documentary & podcast production. A veteran of the true crime space, he was also a writer, co-host and producer of HLN's award winning podcast Down The Hill: The Delphi Murders, and served as a host and producer on the network's tv adaptation. Andrew has also worked as a freelance writer and video producer, has written about America's heroin crisis, and baseball in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley. Andrew is now a Founding Partner and Co-Host at Cold Open Media and the Deviant Podcast.
Dan Szematowicz has spent his entire career in audio as a producer, editor and leader at a variety of outlets such as CNN, American Public Media (Marketplace), and NPR. Most recently, he was Head of Audio at Warner Brothers Discovery, managing branded content initiatives. Dan is now a Founding Partner and Co-Host at Cold Open Media and the Deviant Podcast.
Clark Goldband is the Executive Producer and a Founding Partner at Cold Open Media and the Deviant Podcast.
