Leave a five star review.
It really does help with the rankingsand let me know how I am doing.
But this week we're gonna betalking about A MD RX nine 70 xt.
The supposed announcement thatmay come is supposed release
(00:24):
date plus with an interesting 32gigs of VAM on the graphics card.
And what does that mean forthe 50 90 and everything else?
We also got a microphone to talkabout and more my recommendations
of what microphones to get.
I'm fine with these gaming companiesmake microphones, but I don't trust them
enough as opposed to road or Elga orBeacon or those types of microphones.
(00:51):
Those generally focus on sound and.
NZXT and all those others don'treally, so they're not, even though
Gato uses Lewit to make their mic.
So that's a company that well reversedin understanding how to make sound.
So we'll talk about it, talk aboutthe interesting design, and then
we'll be talking about Ubisoft andit's apparent, double down on things
(01:13):
that shouldn't be double down on.
We're gonna be talking aboutKingdom Come Deliverance Two and
the new surprise announcement,or to me a surprise announcement.
Also be talking about Overwatch twoand its new features, including perks.
Something returning from Overwatchone and Stadium and my feelings on it.
(01:36):
And then we were talking about how EAalmost bought Blizzard and Activision in.
In a way, and then you're talking aboutthe layoffs from Crytech and why it's not
great, but it's their own doing in a way.
And then an interesting thing aboutBobby Kotick and what he thinks
(01:58):
or what he perceives as a lawsuitbeing fake and it being pushed to
u to have unions in his former.
Publisher slash developer, which makes more sense.
I live in California, soI know they're pro union.
I know the government is way more corruptthan they're telling you, so I tend to
(02:18):
believe him a little bit more, even thoughhe has done some I some questionable
things about how monetizing their games.
It doesn't mean everythinghe says is wrong.
Also, the killing floor too.
We'll talk ab.
I'll talk a little bit about that andwe'll talk about avowed and the reviews
coming out and why a lot of thesedevelopers are and publishers are leaving.
(02:41):
Men like me, and men that aretraditional, more masculine, leaving
us behind for better or for worse, andwhy that probably isn't a good thing.
Anyways, let's get on with the show.
That's good.
All right, so happy Friday everybody.
Happy Valentine's Day.
If you actually have somebody, or HappySingles Awareness Day for those that
(03:04):
actually don't have anybody because.
It happens.
We all struggle with different thingsanyways, moving on to a m DRI RX nine 70.
XT is reportedly gonna have a 32 gig.
A bit.
Graphics card is reportedlycoming, but with a catch.
(03:26):
It seems like this is mainly forai specifically for that, but if
I was a MD and I was looking atwhat NVIDIA's troubles have been
going on, basically that they're58 and 59 were a paper launch, they
weren't as great, and sometimesthe 50 80, the founder's edition.
As its base clock it didn't do as well asit should have, and there were some times
(03:49):
where the 7,900 XTX beat it out, which isnot a, that's not comforting for Nvidia,
but if I was smart, I would look at thatand be like, look, okay let's pivot again.
Let's maybe not launch this, the 32 gig version in March, but
let's launch it as our flagship.
Yeah, just with more memory as thesame as the 50 90, but let's put at
(04:14):
like a thousand dollars price point.
So in that way, you undercut by athousand dollars, the 50 90, and if
you just barely go toe to toe with it,like you're almost on track to beat it.
You beat it because.
Basically 50% price reduction from the50 90 and you're actually doing a better
(04:38):
job or doing relatively well, or a farcheaper card is the best price point.
Like I know that they said they'regoing to actually get out of it, but
right now NVIDIA's not doing very well.
People are very mad at Nvidia specificallybecause when it launched, and I actually.
(05:01):
Actually launched pretty close to mybirthday the last, the end of January.
Actually, the day before my birthday lastJanuary, I knew what was gonna happen.
'cause there's too many reportssaying there's not much stock.
There's not much stock, they'renot gonna have much stock, they're
never gonna have enough stock.
This is going to all theS capitals gonna buy.
And guess what happened?
There wasn't enough stock.
All the scalpers bought it, ormost of the scalpers bought it.
(05:24):
And so it became a paper launch whereeverybody was joking to the YouTubers.
Hey you basically got all the stockfrom Nvidia and from the third
parties, plus the third parties areway more expensive, so A MD really
does have a shot to take on Nvidia, and I know they said that back away,
(05:47):
but I would actually seriously changemy plans right now because right now.
Nvidia is pretty vulnerable.
Now, given I actually own stocks in bothof 'em, so I'll be completely honest.
So I don't really carewhich one actually does it.
I just want the best price pointand the best product for the for
gamers because that's what we want.
(06:09):
We all want the best thing for us.
So I'd say A-A-M-D-I would rethink your.
Strategy on not doing it and actuallydo put a 32 gig ran for gamers.
Not just ai, but for gamers to actuallyutilize and maybe have your own AI too.
Nvidia does it too, and you, they can utilize that too.
(06:31):
It's not a bad proposition.
It's actually a pretty decent one, andyou should seriously heavily consider it.
Now given the nine 70 is gonna bewith 16 gigs of ram, which we'll put
it around the 50 seventies, and we'llsee how well they do with each other.
Now, it's not gonna have themore expensive ram that Nvidia
(06:54):
has, which is the GDDR seven.
It's gonna have to still have the GDR six.
So we'll see which one doesbetter, who optimized it better.
And it is usually NVIDIA's a lotpricier 'cause they do all this stuff.
But alright, so the latest newsis that AMD's RDX nine 70 is going
(07:14):
to be revealed on February 28th.
So it's within a few weeks.
It will be launched in early March.
So if you're looking to get a newgraphics card, you're frustrated
because Nvidia won't actually, doesn'tactually have any graphics cards.
This might be your best bet toactually get one, given the fact that.
The A MD ones are actuallypretty competitive when it
(07:35):
comes to per to performance.
A lot of times it really hasn't been,so it's been, they traded blows,
but it hasn't been good enough.
So we'll see what the RDA four doesand FSR four does as well, and see how
well that helps it with it because.
Whether we like it or not, the futureof graphics cards is going to be
(07:56):
within ai, and it's gonna be withoptimizing that and making sure your
frame rates are as high as possible.
So we're not ever goingto get away from this.
NVIDIA's already pushed it reallyheavily a m D's probably gonna start
pushing it a little bit more, andthat's where we're gonna see it.
A MD usually has the more costeffective cards, also with
(08:17):
more open sourced options.
So it generally, they're usually betteras with their VRR system between g SY
and I forget AMDs off the top of my head,AMDs one because it didn't it didn't
ha you didn't have to have optional,or not optional, but extra hardware
(08:39):
equipment within your monitor to run it.
And then Nvidia had to do more compatible.
No one wanted to do their G Sy.
'cause every time someone did it,some monitor company did G sy.
You like raised the pricelike $200, which was insane.
Alright, moving on toNZ xts new microphone.
(09:04):
It actually looks pretty nice.
I'll give him that.
But.
I just can't recommendthese gaming microphones.
It, the reason why is because a, whenyou get like the gaming headsets,
the microphones are terrible.
Usually they peak all the time.
And these companiesaren't audio companies.
Yeah.
They make great parts and everything, andthey make some cool stuff, but they aren't
(09:27):
really as good as say, like a beacon micor like an Elga wave mic or even their dx.
XLR mic or road or anything like that.
So I really don't recommend these.
They'd be good as long asyou know what you're doing.
But a lot of times it'sjust the gain's not there.
(09:49):
The peak level's bad.
It just doesn't do as well as it can.
That's usually why I highly recommend,if you want a more streamlined
approach, is to get like theBeacon mic, because the Beacon mic.
It comes with the necessary softwarethat they have that does a really
good job of making you sound better.
Now, Elga, I justreleased the new Wave 2.0
(10:11):
software, which also helps as well becausethen you could easily switch different
types of programs to different audiochannels and help yourself be a little
bit more organized in that because it is.
Difficult to do that now.
Road did release a few months ago,the beta version for their own
(10:34):
through the road Caster Pro two, which I'm using and it's pretty good.
But Delgado's kind of got himbeat with the new Wave 2.0
in that regard.
But I get physical faders on theroad, caster Pro to so teach his own.
I just, I can't recommend this stuff.
It could be, it looks like a really good.
(10:56):
Wide capsule, but
it's A USB or looks like A-U-S-B-Cto USBA cable, which is okay, it has
a good light and everything has alittle knob, which I guess is good.
It just,
(11:19):
and it also goes for $200, so youcan get the beacon mic for two 50.
And it's got a really goodsoftware baked behind it.
So
I, it's just, if you're gonna go withlike audio gear, go with the com companies
that do audio gear, not the companiesthat do audio gear, water cooling.
(11:46):
Your PSU, your case, like all thisother stuff, and the audio is an
afterthought because that's not whatthey do, because audio is an important
thing, especially if you're a streameror you're trying to get into stuff,
because if you have terrible audio, noone will listen to you or they'll turn
it off because you have terrible audio.
So I would get something that's gearedtowards that or something that can help
(12:09):
you create really great audio like beacon.
Like El Gado, like road, like thesewill all help you in the long run.
This looks cool, but you don'twant to care about what looks cool.
You wanna care about what'sgoing to make you sound good.
(12:32):
Alright, moving on to UBIs Sawfor reports of 52% drop in Q3 net
bookings in line with guidance.
So they're not doing very well, which.
Surprises nobody.
But the problem is that they'redoubling down again on open
world and live service games.
The problem is that exdefiant failed for them.
They basically are shuttering that.
(12:53):
They also are shuttered hypers.
Escapee, which did not last long.
They have skull and bones, whichnobody really likes that much
because people wanted, was a blackflag, basically spiritual successor.
And what they got was a.
Dumb down pirate version, which you cando the rare one and see a thieves instead
(13:15):
and have a much more enjoyable time.
'cause it's a little bit more, it's justbetter and it's better with friends too.
Or you just go back toblack flag because why not?
So
the problem with Ubisoft is not thetypes of games they want to make.
It's the people making them.
(13:36):
The problem is that they made poorchoices in their design, their character
design, and just how it was implemented, and it seems to be this formulaic way
of Ubisoft doing it, which yes, you wantto have standards, you want to have some
formulas, but you can't have everythingvery formulaic or it feels stale.
(13:58):
It feels old, it feels not very fun.
The last assassin Creed, Valhallajust felt like it was a chore to
play instead of a joy to play.
And that's what we really want.
We want it to be a joy to play, a joyto discover things and not a chore to
do it, or we're beaten over the headabout how terrible we are, which a
(14:19):
lot of gamers are having issues with.
Now, some of you may notcare, and that's totally fine.
You can play whatever you want.
It does not hurt me.
You can use your money however you want.
That is completely up to you.
But when we criticize publishers, developers for not doing something
(14:40):
that actually caters to themajority, they lose money.
They don't do very well.
They shutter studios.
This is what happens when youdon't do very well, and they
just haven't gotten the hint yet.
And I think it's becausethey actually were.
Our own US government waspaying them to do this too.
(15:02):
I'm pretty sure there was a grantor a fund to fund Marxist ideals,
which is why it was like so prevalentin the United States right now and
why it was so just like just driveninto the ground with everybody and
everybody was like, we don't like this.
Stop doing this.
And this is probably one of thereasons why Ubisoft is paying the
(15:22):
price, and you always have to have.
An example for other publishers to followor for other publishers to at least
understand that we don't like this.
But the problem is a lot of 'emaren't getting it quite yet.
And so I have a feeling there's gonna bea lot more pain in the gaming industry
until they get the hint and go back.
(15:44):
To marketing your games,to your customers.
Not looking for obviously looking for newcustomers, but not alienating your old
customers 'cause you just don't like them.
If you don't like yourcustomers as a marketer, then
don't work in that industry.
It's as simple as that.
We don't need you, or evenif you hate them, who cares?
(16:09):
Market the game the best you can.
It shouldn't matter.
The problem is that they keep on doingthis, and so people will keep on going.
I'm not buying your gamesuntil you learn your lesson.
And if it takes a while, so be it.
(16:31):
All right, so moving on to can you cometo Learns two has announced that they're
going to be supporting Mods for Steam,so it basically means that maybe you'll
be able to mod out the gay stuff ifyou want to, and there are mod out some
of the other like annoying things thatyou may not like about it in the game.
I don't have it 'cause personally I,it was weird the character development.
(16:54):
Changed between the firstone and the second one.
It was a little weird for me, so decidednot to do it, but it did really well.
I props to them for basically gettingback all their development costs 'cause
they already sold over a million.
But I think this is a good step inthe direction 'cause basically just
lets people play the game they wantto play and I'm fine with that.
(17:16):
And it goes around Nexus mod, which I.
Basically I do not recommendsupporting that company.
That company's weird.
I keep on saying that they're inclusive, but they're really not, because every
time someone says they're inclusive, they're really actually exclusive.
And the fact that there was a mod thatbasically changed all the American flags
to the progressive flags that I'm like, what in Spider-Man Two, I think it was.
(17:39):
And I was like, what?
Like it's not inclusive.
You should have taken that down.
But no, that's fine.
But this is actually really good.
I actually really commend them for this.
This is actually a really good ideabecause the funny part is that mods
actually help your game last longer.
(17:59):
'cause people create their ownstuff and they do their own things
and they add their own things, andso they basically extend the life.
That's why Skyrim.
Has lasted as long as it has.
That's why Battlefield Two lasted along time, which EA doesn't understand,
or they're finally slowly getting it.
That mods extend the life of your game ifyou allow your audience or your customers
(18:27):
to two,
make something for your game.
It brings more participation, which basically brings it
an investment into the game.
Even it's a small investment, it addssome type of bond to it for gamers,
(18:48):
and then they'll play it more often.
They'll tell their friends toplay it because they have this
cool mod, and then it cascadesinto that when you cut mods out.
People will play it for a while, butonce you stop support the developer,
people don't generally play it as muchanymore because they're like there's
nothing new coming, so why does it matter?
(19:09):
But if you have your audience creatingstuff for it, that takes the pressure
off you to create more stuff andallows you to focus on other things.
There is a lot of benefits for mods.
It's just the problem is a lotof developers and publishers.
Don't get it.
They don't see the long-term effecton it or they don't, they don't see
(19:32):
the long-term effect it can haveon it, but history has always said
it has a positive impact on it.
Battlefield too lasted a really longtime because of mods, and a lot of
good games came out of that too.
So you actually get, you actuallycan find great talent from it.
Skyrim created a lot of great mods.
Fallout created a lot of great mods.
(19:54):
Atomic fall is basicallyfallout London in a way.
So it created that for it too.
So you created more developers, youcould actually fleece the talent
for your own development team.
Like it's dumb that theywere done away with.
It made no sense.
Except that they wanted more money.
(20:15):
'cause then they could just basicallyget people to come over to the next game.
But it didn't always guarantee thatloyalty is guaranteed through how much
you give, and you don't feel like you'rebeing nickel and dime when people feel
like they're nickel and dime, theydon't want to buy your game anymore.
And you can only do that so manytimes before people are like,
(20:37):
I'm done buying games from you.
And it's gonna happen moreoften until they figure out.
Giving more goodwill does work.
Live service games peopledon't like very much.
'cause it feels like it's a chore.
It feels like you're just trying to getmore money out of us and it's not as fun.
(21:01):
Alright, so Overwatch two hadthis big announcement this week
for several different things.
It was quite a bit one.
Overwatch Classic GoatsMeta was not the best.
Meta to play against is eventuallyComing Perks, which is an interesting
system, is coming in season 16.
(21:22):
Basically, it gives every hero a minorperk and a major perk, and it changes the
way the game's played to a certain extent.
Obviously, people will figure outwhich one are the better perks and
they reset if you switch heroes, so it.
It cuts down on the hero swapping.
(21:42):
That has been pretty relevantwithin Overwatch two.
They also have a new game mode stadium.
It kinda looks like moreof a Moab type mode for it.
They'll have new maps, new hero, Freya, which basically is a bounty hunter,
kinda like almost a little more keento like what DIA three had in a way.
(22:02):
Crossbow and stuff.
So it looks all interesting.
My issue is the pronouns were very strongin the announcement, especially one of
'em that was she they any, and I'm like,I don't even understand what that means.
Can you please stop with the pronouns?
I don't care.
Just tell me what the game is about.
(22:22):
You don't have to put pronouns anywhere.
I can see with my eyes whatsex you are, but all in all.
It was good.
And the return of loot boxes, which I think is a better idea.
I think the battle passes really justdid not resonate very well with a lot of
people because it just felt like it wasexpensive and Blizzard was intentionally
making it expensive for no reason really.
(22:45):
And Loot Boxes at least gave youa chance to earn some things.
And you could also buy stuff.
You could still buy the Battle Pass.
They're not getting rid ofit, but Loot Box gives free
users a little bit more of a.
Way of getting skinsthat you actually want.
'cause you get that loot boxesand the free and the battle pass.
I think you'll obviously get morein the battle pass, but it should
(23:07):
be interesting to see what happens.
They're also resetting ranksit seems like eventually.
And there's gonna be from.
I think it's platinum above youcould, it'll basically show off in
your little banner what rank you are.
So they're bringing it back againbecause everybody, that's what everybody
wanted when they got rid of it.
And it's just bring it back.
It just feels better.
(23:27):
So we're getting interestingstuff, but I don't know.
I'm I wanna play Marvelrivals, to be honest with you.
Alright, so apparently ea.
Almost bought Blizzard Call of Dutyand more so they actually had an
opportunity, thank God they didn'tactually have an opportunity.
'cause EA has a notorious way ofeventually slow the slow death of
(23:53):
killing their beloved developers.
I'm like, can't you buy where?
So it looks like they had anopportunity to actually do it, but
they passed on it.
I don't know if it's a good or bad thing.
People think that they dodged abullet, but Microsoft now owns them.
So is it really dodging a actual bullet?
(24:14):
Because Microsoft has not shownthey're doing a good job either.
And with all the issues that Blizzardhas actually had over the years has
lost a lot of goodwill of players.
Bobby Kodak's view on monetizationhas been pretty piss poor
(24:42):
not gonna lie.
Call of Duty is just a nightmarenow to play with because of all
the weird skins that they have.
It's just it's not the same game anymore.
It's a weird game where it'sthere's these like crazy insane
skins that I'm just like.
I don't wanna play that.
That does not look appealing to me at all.
(25:02):
But here we are.
But it's an interesting thing tosee that EA actually did have an
opportunity and passed on it didn't do.
It
might have been a mistake for them.
I'm pretty sure Blizzard mayhave dodged a bullet on that one.
May not really sure about that one either.
(25:24):
But we'll never know.
'cause this is all about what ifs.
But it is very interesting to see
what actually happens.
Transpires with all that.
But here we are.
Microsoft bought Activision Blizzard.
It's now part of Microsoft.
Let's see if Microsoft can write the ship.
I don't think it can.
(25:45):
I think the ship just sailed on that one.
But more bad news is that CryTech is laying off 60 people
and shelving crisis four.
So we're not actually not evergonna get a crisis game because
they're just not doing very well.
It looks like Hunt Showdownis not doing very well.
Now.
People are saying that aren't reallylistening to the community and
they're just doing what they want, which is never a good thing to do.
(26:06):
But you also take that with a grainof salt because it can be, there's,
people just want unrealistic things.
So we don't really know, butunfortunately there's going to be
still more hemorrhaging within thegaming industry and it's just not
looking very well or very good.
(26:30):
Moving on to killing four.
Three is coming out in March.
Should be next month.
Should be very interesting.
So we got killing four three.
We've got.
Tempest Rising, if you love CommandConquers comes out in April.
We got Doom.
The Darky just comes out in May.
And so all these games look likethey're very just like traditional
(26:50):
games made for their audience.
'cause EA doesn't understand thatthey can make a new Command Conquer
game and it will sell well L.
But no, they did the one and doneCommand Conquer remake, which sold pretty
modestly, but it was just a remake.
It was great that we got like a newversion of it because that's what we
(27:11):
needed, but they needed more of the gamesinto it to remake it, like General's
Remade, so it runs better on systems, likewe needed that stuff, but it was a one
and done thing and they haven't reallydone anything else with the franchise.
The franchise is still technically dead.
You've seen Civ seven hascome out with mixed reviews.
(27:34):
We've seen Microsoft do a bunch ofthings with their old strategy ips with
age of the Empire, age of Mythology.
So it's having a little resurgence.
It's not doing terribly like before, but it's gonna, Beto, it's not very
much, but killing 4 0 3 looks liketo be just basically a throwback to
the glory days of ho shooters, justlike killing a bunch of things and.
(27:56):
Not caring and blood andgore flying everywhere.
It looks like it's gonna be a fun thing.
We'll see.
You can never really trust anygame right now because even the
games that you remember and lovefrom old may not be the same ones
you actually get, but I'm hopeful.
So I saw this interesting articleabout Bo Bobby Codick says that
(28:18):
Activision Blizzards harassmentlawsuits were quote unquote fake.
And this simply a plan todrive up union memberships.
Now, hold on.
I know we don't, he's notthe best person to love.
And granted some of the criticismsare valid, but it doesn't mean
that can't be true either.
Especially someone that actuallylives in California and how
(28:40):
gung-ho the state is about unions.
It's probably closer to the truth thanwe think and especially since this new
administration has come in and we'veseen a lot of just fraud and waste,
it's probably more than likely true thatthis, these lawsuits like really help
push a union into Activision Blizzard.
(29:06):
Now you can say unions are greatto a certain extent, and right now
modern unions really aren't great.
They really just look out for themselvesand usually the leadership and they
really do stifle a lot of innovation.
You can look at the teachersunion isn't, does help itself
out, doesn't help the kids at all.
(29:27):
I'm not saying there's not great teachers.
But they don't really help themselves.
And unions are usually very proMarxist in, in a lot of ways.
Usually don't promote excellence.
Just promote.
Just to promote.
'cause it's your friend, it's yourbuddy, and you get a lot of stagnation.
(29:49):
You get higher wages, but thenyou have to let go of other people
because the higher wages, it just.
Doesn't balance books out andthey don't care if it's a good
or bad year for the company.
They just want their money.
So
it more than likely is true.
Now, saying that there aren't thereall this stuff, or all the terrible
(30:11):
stuff didn't happen within ActivisionBlizzard, I'm not saying that could
happen and very likely did happen, but.
Not saying that these lawsuitscouldn't be just a simple way of
gin up union memberships, that couldvery as well as happen as well.
(30:32):
Now, I know the gaming press and just mostpeople just don't like him, but look at
Overwatch two, even when after he left, they were still weren't doing a great job.
They were doing a terrible job.
They actually had to have Marvelrivals come in and completely
trounce them for them to go.
We probably should start changingthings up here a little bit.
(30:54):
We probably should look at six V six.
We probably should look atbringing the LUT system back.
We probably should look atperks and all this other stuff.
That's probably why they'repushing it so hard now.
Because what they've beendoing has not worked.
(31:14):
I have not really wanted to playOverwatch in a very long time.
I actually just uninstalledit because frankly, it's
just not made for me anymore.
It's sad because.
I love playing the game when I, when itcame out, 'cause it was made for me and
then they just went off this really weirdtrajectory where they pushed political
ID ideologies, pronouns and stuff.
(31:35):
And it's I just don'twanna see it anymore.
Like I don't care.
I care about like the hero and whatthe hero does and its abilities,
but I don't care about it.
Sexuality 'cause it's fake anyways.
Why do I care about that?
Anyways, moving on to a vowed.
So a vowed is, looks like it's doinga pretty good job on its reviews
(31:58):
from the gaming professionals.
Doesn't mean it's gonna be a good game.
We had Mr.
Mattie plays who's basically saidthat this was not a good game and
everybody else is look at a good game.
It's got all our progressive values.
I more than likely.
(32:18):
Oh, I'm not gonna get it, butI'm more likely thinking it's
not going to do very well.
I really get door kickerstoo, to be honest with you.
Or doing the Dark Angels.
Very much.
It looks like a very testosterone, very just, we know who our audience is.
We know who to make this for,and we don't apologize for it.
(32:38):
That's a game to play.
This one.
No.
No.
Which is the same 'cause I love obsidian.
I still think Knightdale Republictwo is one of the best stories
they ever did hands down.
I think Fallout New Vegas is amazing.
I think Outer Worldsis a pretty good game.
(32:59):
Not bad.
Way better than Starfield
and Hell, Starfield had spaceships.
You can fly in outta Worlds two Did not.
I think Pillars of Attorneyare is another great game.
And the second one as well.
I think those are great games as well, but honestly, I just, the game designer or
(33:24):
whoever, the director or one of 'em justbeing very political and very just racist
against his own against white peopleand white dudes is really disconcerting
and probably makes this a terrible game.
So I'm highly skeptical.
This is actually a good game becausethere's too many of these gaming
journalists that actually like it.
(33:45):
Because a lot of 'em said that DragonAge Vegar was great, and that did
not do very well because no one wantsto pull Brava or do even be even get
close to Brava or whatever that means,
which moves into why a lot of the gamingsaren't really made for me anymore.
(34:07):
It seems like this weird push, which happened over the course of.
Almost a decade now, I would sayabout nine years where we had like a
really extreme push of one ideology.
No one, like most normal people didnot like, and it infected just about
(34:30):
every industry you can think of.
People didn't like it.
We gave 'em a benefit of doubtand went to some of the movies,
but eventually we stopped goingto the movies because we're like.
This isn't good.
And then it affected the gamingindustry slowly but surely.
And it's happening here where I'm like Ionly have a finite amount of money, and
if you aren't really gonna make a gamefor me and you're gonna start like pushing
(34:52):
pronouns on me and a bunch of otherstuff, I don't have to get your game.
It's not a requirementfor me to get your game.
I'm okay having fomo.
Please go do your own thing.
But.
I don't have to get this game.
And it looks like a vows doing this.
Overwatch two's doing thiswith their push for pronouns,
(35:13):
especially with their own people.
Like I said, the one of the peoplehad, she, they and any, and I'm like,
that doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
And she wasn't any there's bunchof no rings and everything.
Ooh.
But.
Like I said, Overwatch is not, I don'tthink Overwatch two is for me anymore.
(35:34):
I think Marvel rivals is for me, I thinkDelta Force is for me, maybe Battlefield
six if they can actually get it together.
I'm skeptical about mass effect fivebecause of the Dragon Age, veil guard.
Very skeptical about EV vowed.
I think for RPGs, kingdom come, deliverance two is probably gonna be the G
(35:57):
that game for this year, unless something.
Surprisingly pops up.
I think a vowed will do modestlywell, but not good enough.
'cause, just because of thereputation of up sitting right now,
I think it'll do modestly well.
I'm not saying it will tank, but I'm notsaying it's gonna be doing a good thing.
(36:25):
I think there's gonna be too muchof this woke or Marxist ideology
being pushed into it, and I thinkit's gonna turn people away.
I think that word of mouth isgoing to hurt its sales eventually.
'cause people want somethingdifferent from this.
That's why people are erectingpositively towards doomed
(36:45):
dark ages and not to this one.
It's funny, it's made by thesame publisher, Microsoft, but Id
understands their customers obsidiandoesn't because the old people
that made a Cian great are gone.
They're no longer there.
So you're going to have issues with this.
(37:06):
And if a lot of these developersdon't do very well, Microsoft has
no problem getting rid of 'em.
You've already seen themgetting rid of several of 'em.
They will brutally cut if they need to.
So if it does I'll be surprised, but hey, more power to 'em.
(37:31):
If it doesn't do well, I'll belike, yep, sounds about right.
And I do think games should be goingback to who their target audience
is and ca making a game for them.
I'm excited for the Mel Gear, stink Eater, Mel Gear three
remake or whatever it's called.
That looks cool.
I'm excited for some games, but most of the games now, I
(37:52):
am not excited for whatsoever.
And it's unfortunate because there'sa lot of great storied franchises that
I'm just like, not for me anymore.
Pass Path of Exile twofor me, the have four.
Probably not for me anymore.
Overwatch not for me anymore.
Marvel rivals for me.
(38:13):
That's just how it is.
You're just gonna have topick and choose from now on.
It's not, I'm not saying you just have totake a political stand, I'm just saying.
You're just gonna have to pickand choose which one's the right
one for you, because these gamesare getting much more expensive.
I think GTA six will probablybe massive, but people will
be very disappointed in it.
(38:33):
But we'll see what happens whenwe actually get closer to an
actual official launch date, because we don't only have that.
So we'll see.
We'll see.
