(00:00):
The crisis of brilliance comesto shake everything that you
know as normal.
Because everything that you knowis normal is not what aligns
with who God created you to be.

coming in and talk to today. Andalso who the HEartwork Academy
is for you all have heard metalking about the HEartwork
Academy, if you've beenfollowing for a while you've
heard me mentioned it before, but I'm here to tell you that
(01:29):
it's not what it used to be,because I'm not what I used to
be.
So I am just going to beobedient. And I'm going to share
with you all, from my hearttoday, as Holy Spirit shares
with me, it is pressed on myheart to call out to women who
(01:51):
feel like they are in the throesof frustration.
I am using a megaphone today, toconnect with the hearts of women
who know that there's more whoknow that this something but
(02:12):
they don't know what it is. Theydon't know how to get there.
They just feel disrupted. Theyfeel disrupted, they feel
disturbed, like everything isshaking.
Everything that used to hold youup is now shaking. Everything
that you used to lean on is nowshaking. Everything that you
(02:33):
felt was a support to you at onetime. Now you're questioning
questioning it. And I'm talkingabout everything I'm talking
about to the point of did Imarry the right one? And my in
the right church? Am I in theright career? Do I even know who
I am? Have I gotten this thingwrong? I'm talking to you today,
(02:58):
I'm calling out to your heart.
And I need to let you know thatyou are not losing your mind.
You are not crazy, you are notfalling apart, you may be
breaking apart, but you're notgonna fall apart. Stay with me.
Stay with me, I'm gonna talk youthrough this, I need you to
understand that what you areexperiencing is what I call a
(03:19):
crisis of brilliance. It's acrisis of brilliance. And this
crisis does not come to destroyyou. But it does come to unearth
everything that's in you andeverything that's connected to
you that cannot go into yourpurpose. Hear me
(03:42):
this crisis comes to on Earthand disrupt everything that's
connected to you, and everythingthat's in you that cannot go
into your next season. As I wasthinking about this, and this is
this is a section that I wrotein the book, but I can't wait
until the book comes. That's afew months from now. But I have
(04:06):
to say now and I have to sharewith you. Now, as I thought
about this crisis of brilliance.
One of the things that came tomy memory was when Hurricane
Katrina attacked the Gulf Coast, there were so many horrific
things. But there was one thingthat stood out to me and stuck
to me. I remember hearing in thenews how when the flood waters
(04:29):
came in on Earth caskets. Thefloodwaters made the ground show
unstable, that people in theirfinal resting places, those
casting caskets began to comeback to the surface the thing
that was supposed to stay buriedthe thing that was supposed to
(04:52):
be still the thing that wassupposed to have no movement all
of a suddenBlood caused the shaking caused
the foundation to be soft, andthose things begin to rise to
the top. And that's what happenswhen you are in a crisis of
brilliance, things that you putto bed, things that you put away
(05:13):
things that you thought youwould never deal with, again,
things that you've neveracknowledged, all of a sudden,
they start popping up towardsthe surface, and you can't
figure out why you feel thisway. Why you're thinking this
way, why you are souncomfortable, why it feels like
the pressures of your life, orpulling on all in on you,
(05:35):
everywhere you look is justpressure.
I need you to understand, youare in a crisis of brilliance.
You didn't make it up, and youdidn't do anything wrong. Let me
say that again. Hear me, hear myvoice. You didn't do anything
(06:01):
wrong.
There is no decision there is nobehavior. There is nothing that
you have done that has causedthis shaking in your life. The
shaking comes to prepare you towalk in to your brilliance. God
loves you too much to allow youto walk into to brilliance
(06:23):
unprepared. He loves you toomuch to allow you to take these
dead things into brilliance withyou, the shaking calm so that
the foundation can soften. Andeverything that's under the
earth that has no luck should nolonger be attached to you has to
float to the top so that you candeal with it.
(06:46):
You're in a crisis ofbrilliance, the work that you
once loved and you praise Godfor and you told the testimony
and you posted about it. Now youcan't imagine staying
in your mind. You think what iswrong with you? You're in a good
place, everything's fine. Whyare you tripping, but it's
something in your spirit. That'sjust prodding you and poking you
(07:09):
saying this is not it. This isnot it. This is not where you
stop. This is not where yourest. This is not the end. But
this is not it. There is morethere is more. There is more,
there is more. There is more.
And people around you don'tunderstand because they look at
you. And it looks like you gotall the things it looks like you
(07:33):
have everything that they prayfor. And even if you tried to
tell them you would lookungrateful. So you keep it to
yourself, because who do youtalk to? Who do you tell her? I
don't even have language. Ican't even say what's wrong with
me. I don't know what's wrongwith me, friend, you are in a
crisis of brilliance.
(07:57):
I related to a woman who is inthe final stages of labor,
how she has carried this gift.
How she has carried this gift tothe term to which it is mature
enough to come forth, and beginto learn to live on the outside.
(08:19):
How she has carried this gift, and nurtured this gift on the
inside of her. Sometimessecretly. For a while it was
secret, nobody could see it. Andthen people started noticing as
her belly was growing. But theycan still couldn't see they just
knew something was coming. Theystill couldn't see it. And now
(08:43):
she's feeling the pain.
Now you're feeling the pressure.
Now everything in your life islining up to deliver the thing
that God has nurtured on theinside of you. And in that
moment, it can be the mostpainful, the most discomfort,
the most pressure in the momentthat you want to give it all up.
(09:08):
Nevermind, I don't even want todo this anymore. I'm tired.
I'm exhausted. I'm tired. I'mtired. And even as I'm saying
that I'm thinking about when awoman is in labor, the more she
fights against what her bodynaturally knows how to do, the
(09:31):
more painful it is. But when shedecides to submit to the pain
when she decides to submit tothe process, no more striving,
no more pushing. No Well, yougot to push hold on but no, no
more just trying to make ithappen. Right. No pushing
outside of the timing. You haveto wait on the contraction in
(09:54):
order to push. You have to waiton your body you have to wait on
your body to sayNow, in order to push that makes
your pushing productive, you arejust pushing to push because you
want it to be over. You want itto be done, you want to be out
of pain, you want to be out offrustration, you want to be out
of this comfort. But let me tellyou, you will cause damage. If
(10:18):
you don't push with thecontractions, yo, hear me, I'm
not just talking about physicalbirth. But you are in the
process of delivering to theworld, the brilliance that God
has put on the inside of you.
And it is a process, it's acrisis, it comes to shake
(10:41):
everything that you know isnormal.
The crisis of brilliance comesto shake everything that you
know as normal.
Because everything that you knowas normal, is not what aligns
with who God created you to be.
Just because it feels normal, doesn't mean it's right.
(11:06):
And when you find yourself inthis crisis, if you don't have
support, if you don't havecommunity, you can get
frustrated. And you might wantto think you might want to stop,
you want to escape you want torun, you want to get away from
it. But I'm here to tell youthat I'm your midwife.
(11:29):
I feel this thing.
I'm here as your midwifeto help you pace yourself, to
help you push through thecontractions, to encourage you
to work with your body, and towork with your Spirit to bring
your body, your soul and yourspirit into alignment. So that
(11:49):
you can safely deliver the thingthat God has put on the inside
of you.
And I can only help you do it.
Because I've done it. And I amdoing it, I am doing it. If you
all have followed me for awhile, especially if you've
listened to this podcast for awhile, you've seen the changes.
I started out with one name. Andthen I changed it to another
(12:13):
name. And now it's disruptingburnout. I opened the HEartwork
Academy a couple years ago, anddid it for a little while and
then close that. And now I'mbringing it back. What you have
experienced what you watchedfrom me is my aligning and
learning and the shaking. Youwatched my crisis of brilliance.
You watched it. You've been apart of it. You've been along
(12:38):
the journey with me. You'vewalked with me in this crisis of
brilliance. As I've navigatedand learned and God, what do you
want from me? What do you wantme to do? I'll give it all up.
All I want is what you want.
I lay it all down. You want mycareer, you can have it. You
(13:01):
want my titles, you can have it.
Whatever you want, you can haveit.
You have watched me walk throughthe crisis of brilliance. And
you're watching me walk in thebrilliance that God has created
me to live in. At 42 years old,I'm finally living. Listen to
me. 42 years, 42 years. Andafter 42 years, I am walking in
(13:31):
and all of those seasons werenecessary and me. All of those
seasons were necessary. So Idon't I don't despise any one of
them. I'm grateful. But I needto be your example. You're
looking for polished. You'relooking for pretty. You're
looking for cute. And thisprocess right here. This thing
(13:52):
right here ain't nothing cuteabout it.
And nothing cute about it. Oh,but it's worth it. Man. Listen,
listen, it's not pleasant, butit's beautiful.
It's not pleasant, but it'sbeautiful. It is beautiful. Hear
me, sister.
(14:13):
Hear me today. You are rightwhere you're supposed to be.
The pressure that you feel isrefining you.
The fire that you're in isprotecting you. The shaking that
you feel is purifying youand is preparing you to walk in
the fullness. You've always hadbrilliance. You've always allow
(14:39):
brilliance to flow in one way oranother because you can't help
it.
But this is the transition intothe fullness of brilliance. This
is the transition intoeverything that God created you
to be full surrender.
full surrender andI know you're you're watching
(15:00):
YouTube and you're listening toother voices and you're
searching and you're trying tofind an answer and you read all
the books and you just want ananswer. Because if I have an
answer, I can make the painstop. If I can just get a
solution, then I don't have tobe in this place. And I'm here
to tell you that this place isnecessary.
(15:23):
I didn't come to snatch you outof the fire, I came to walk
through it with you.
I didn't come to snatch you outof the fire.
But I came to jump into flameswith you.
And hold your hands and put myarms around you. And let you
(15:45):
know. I know. You can see itright now. But this is
necessary.
I know it doesn't feel like itright now. But this is for your
good.
This fire is making youand when you come out
(16:07):
I'm talking pure gold.
Pure gold. So if you're feelingconfused, if you're feeling
frustrated, if you're feelingoverwhelmed, if you're
exhausted, if you're questioningeverything, if if it feels like
everything that's held youtogether as falling apart.
(16:27):
Let me share this with you. Andthen I gotta let you go.
God gave methis revelation. And I've heard
similar words before. Butrecently, a family member asked
me to speak at his mother'sfuneral.
And as I was preparing for theservice, God took me to the
(16:51):
scripture where it says, youknow, as long as the earth
remains, see time and harvestminute goes on night and day.
Yeah, go. And he stopped me atseed time and harvest,
seed time and harvest.
A seed never looks like theharvest.
(17:13):
The seed looks insignificant, most people toss it away. Only
those who know how to sew cansee the value in a seed.
That seed in order for what's init to come out, must be planted
in good soil. A seed outside ofsoil is no good. It must go into
(17:38):
the dark place to be planted, not buried, to be planted, it
must be planted into the darkplace. And when you plant a seed
in the dark place, it doesn'tlook like anything is happening
for a while, so you got seed.
Now you need time.
In that soil, there's a processthat's going on in the dark that
(18:02):
you can't see. That process thesoil puts pressure on the seed.
And that pressure causes thatouter layer the outer coating of
that seed to fall away, todisrupt to this disintegrate to
go away. And now the seed isexposed. The thing that used to
(18:25):
protect it no longer covers itis gone.
And the vulnerable thing thatwas the own the inside of it.
That is the thing that is comingforward. And the inside of the
seed continues to go through thepressure of the soil. And in
order for that seed to comeforth. It needs son. It needs
(18:46):
light and it needs water. JesusChrist has already provided the
light he is the Son, your tears.
Your tears provide the water.
People will tell you Don't cry.
They will say oh no What's wrongif you're crying, wipe your
(19:08):
tears. I'm not here to hand youa tissue I'm here to rub your
back as you cry. Your tearswater your seat of brilliance.
God says every tear that you cryyou pop he bottles in heaven. He
is not miss one seed.
Every every moment every sorrowyou gone through he records in a
(19:31):
book in heaven. He journals yourson rolls. He has not forgotten
you. Listen, listen. He has notforgotten you. In this season.
You may feel like he's nothearing you. Like your prayers
are just hitting the ceiling.
Because I can't see anything isso dark. I'm praying, but I
don't think anybody hears me.
(19:55):
I'm praying but I don't thinkI'm heard. And I'm here to tell
you thatThere's no prayer that you pray
that goes on hurt. He isdocumenting all of your sorrows
and bottling all of your tears, but he loves you too much to let
you out one day early.
He loves you too much to leaveyou there one day later than you
(20:17):
need to be here that he's notgoing to let you out one day
early. And he's not going toleave you there one day late.
The soils necessary, you needthe pressure. Because before you
know it, there's going to be alittle sprig that comes up above
(20:37):
the soil, and you'll be able tosee light again, vulnerable, may
be tired, may feel a littleweak. And that's why you need
community to hold you up. That'swhy you need people around you,
to hold you up and to surroundyou when you're in your most
vulnerable state. But if thatseat continues to be watered and
(21:00):
nurtured, before you know it,it's going to be a mighty force.
And it's going to bring forth aharvest. And the harvest is not
just about the fruit.
But the magic of the harvest isthere's more seed in the fruit.
So you may have started with onelittle insignificant seed. But
if you continue to water thatseed, if you continue to expose
(21:23):
that seed to the sun, before youknow it, that seed is going to
be mighty in the land, and thatscene is going to produce fruit.
And that fruit is going to bemore seed is going to be more
seed. And it's going to bereplicated over and over and
over the blessing. The blessingis passed down to the third and
fourth generation, what you'rewhat you're going through is not
(21:45):
for you.
It's not just for you, but youallowing yourself to be buried
you allowing everything thatused to protect you to fall away
you staying in the process, until it's time to come forth.
Not only is that a blessing toyou, not only is it a blessing
to the people that you'reassigned to in the earth, but
(22:07):
it's a blessing to the third andfourth generation of your
family. There are greatgrandchildren and great great
grandchildren that you may ormay not meet, but their lives
will be blessed because youstayed in the process.
Your crisis is necessary.
It's not destruction. It's not alack of love. It is not
(22:30):
punishment. But this is a crisisof brilliance. And the purpose
of this crisis is to transitionyou into the fullness of
brilliance that God created youto be.
I want to offer yousupport. I want to offer you
love. I want to offer youcommunity. And I want to offer
(22:52):
you revelation of what'sactually happening to you and
what's going on. When youunderstand you can change your
perspective. It doesn't mean thepressure stops, it doesn't mean
the pain stops, but at least youunderstand.
(23:12):
At least you know what's goingon. When you don't know what's
going on. Your thought processis the hardest part is the most
difficult part. But when you areaware, and you know that this
process didn't take you come totake you out and it won't last
forever, then it gives you thatextra stamina to stay right
(23:34):
there. It gives your hope backis time for your hope to rise.
It's time for your hope to rise.
