Michael is the Inaugural Vice President for University Culture & Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer at Andrews University. He is passionate about creating collaborative spaces where everyone at the table is seen, heard, and valued. Michael believes in supporting a process that seeks to understand and respond to the complexities of a diverse campus community. He commits to transforming perspectives through trust-building conversations, he holds space for people to have dialogue across religious faiths to gain a better understanding and has taken a lead in strategic planning efforts towards building a cohesive model that connects University DEI, Wellness, and Faith Engagement efforts.
