Documenteers: The Documentary Podcast

Documentaries. We all love them. They educate, manipulate and enlighten us to the world. A good documentary can get everyone talking, and on this podcast, bad documentaries can do that too. The Documenteers podcast features a guy named Bob Sham, and a revolving cast of enthusiasts, discussing a myriad of documentary topics. True crime, nature, sports, music, history, the classics and more. The hosts give heartfelt analysis that is never too serious. Sometimes real emotions actually occur. Documentaries tell the story of humanity, and on the Documenteers, we tackle the issues as well as the documentaries. Mostly it's dumb jokes though. Really dumb jokes. Hear the podcast everyone SHOULD be talking about. The best documentary themed podcast in the universe. The cool people are already talking about it. Like your dad. Don't you want to be cool like your dad? Keep on Doccin'®... Show More

A Bonus episode of Akil & Bob discussing episode 1 of Nanette Burstein's Hulu original "Hillary". It's a docuseries about Hillary Clinton that we made it a point to not finish. Remember when the balloons came down at the 2016 Democratic National Convention and Hillary and Bill seemed weirdly over-excited about all the balloons? Yeah, that shit was funny. It'd be cool to smoke a blunt with Hunter Biden.

Barbie, from mall ditz to thicc queen, the doll has been a cultural sensation since the moment it hit the shelves. As you can imagine, a cavalcade of variating voices criticizing and praising a piece of plastic go down in Angela and Bob’s discussion of Andrea Nevin’s Hulu documentary “Tiny Shoulders, Rethinking Barbie”. The history of Barbie and it’s road towards a body size that makes sense has been an awkward road with sexism and...

In these times of uncertainty, all of us can collectively agree that the last thing we need are celebrities singing overused songs into their smart phones. Gal Gadot may mean well, but what her and her friends left us with has got to be the most uninspiring bit of privileged back-patting ever. Every celebrity in this video, even the ones we like, are on notice. It’s fortunate we got Comrade Britney Spears and Comrade Cardi B to get...
