Dope Labs, a podcast where we show you how science
intersects with pop culture. We take the stuff that y'all
are talking about online and in our dms and we
put it under the microscope.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Now, this isn't your typical podcast, right.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
For one, we're actually friends in real life, and two
we are actually scientists. That's right, we both have PhDs.
But that doesn't mean we know everything.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Now wait a minute, speak for you, so speak for you.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
So here we believe science is everywhere.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
And science is for everybody, And if we aren't already,
we are going to be your favorite scientist very very soon.
We are answering all of your burning questions and having
some of our very smart friends help us find the answers.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Just listen to what we have coming up this semester.
See this goes back to first impressions. Do we really
want the underwater aliens to this to be their first
impression of us? We got to take that in considerations too.
I said, do you want to hear some Anita Baker?

And she said, is that the lady with the bananas
and I almost lost it. But as soon as I
realized who Anita Baker was, I am now a fan.

Yes, that's right, bake me up.

I love that you're pointing out too, tt like how
big breakups are, and like I think, we don't often
realize how much they shape our minds, those big, big breakups,
they really affect our mental conditioning, and they affect how
we see the present.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Ooh, weit, it's gonna get spice.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
That's just how I like your baby.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
And with everything going on in the world, you know
we've got your back when you're looking for the facts.
