Presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ simply and without the rules, rites, and rituals of institutional religion.
Jesus is our high priest, but what does that mean?
Join me is walking through Hebrews 7:11-25 and we'll find out together.
What does the Love of the Lord Jesus look like?
How can we know He Loves us?
Maybe He Loves us, but does He like us?
This time I finish discussing the elements of the armor of God, talk about practical application, and examine what spiritual warfare really looks like.
Really, it's all about Jesus!
Everything hangs on Truth.
Everything hangs on the Lord Jesus.
Righteousness guards your heart.
Children, Parents, Servants, Masters
An Introduction to how we STAND, who our enemy is, and an overview of our battle instructions.
Biblical submission. The very term elicits angry defiance in some.
You may have heard all sorts of terrible teaching about this, but we're going to discover the truth is stunningly glorious. These 11 verses communicate something simple, profound, and very freeing.
Don't be unwise. Don't drink too much. Don't be foolish.
Instead be wise, know what the Lord's will is, and get to know Him better.
There's so much here to help us navigate the world, the tribulation we're facing, and the evil that surrounds us.
How do we follow God as dear children? What does it mean to expose the deeds of darkness? What are the ramification of being Light bearers?
The Hebrew Scriptures of the Old Testament foreshadow Jesus a Christ. Let's look at how His body and blood and His sacrifice are shown there and fulfilled in the New.
We're learning what living out the Christ Life looks like, and what it doesn't look like. In this episode we will see the amazing truth found in the Lord Jesus.
Life in this world is filled with threatening news, calamity, politics, and bad weather.
The Apostle Peter, inspired by the Holy Spirit helps us remember who and whose we are. We learn that growing in the knowledge of the Lord allows us to live above the fray. We are in the world, but not of it, we're on a mission, and it's glorious.
There are some difficult to understand verses here, and we'll dive into them pretty deeply. There is also a glorious message about Jesus, and about you.
Join me, won't you?
Peter denied even knowing Jesus. It was no momentary lapse. He did it three times in one night.
But later, he and Jesus have a very interesting interaction where Peter is corrected by Jesus.
We can gain some insight from this into the way we should expect the Spirit to correct us, and it's wonderful.
Worthy Walking, How we Do It, Unity and Peace
These things are the topic of discussion and there is great blessing and peace to be found.
Chapter 3 of our continuing study of Ephesians.
Paul's job and the power of the Spirit in us.
This two-part series begins in part 1 by seeing that Christ is in Us, we are in Christ and in Him are other things we need to live the Christ Life.
We'll conclude this part with the first of several practical examples. In this episode we learn about expressing Christ in worship, and it doesn't look the way many expect.
In this second and final part of our discussion on expressing Christ in everyday life, we will look deeply at the practical application of this concept. We'll talk about good works, how to know what is tight and good, and how to put it into practice by resting.
The record of the first people living in the Garden of Eden is full of interesting details. It presents important insights about people, God, and the relationship He desires to have with us. In this episode I discuss the first presentation of the Gospel. Along the way I examine the fall of mankind and God's expulsion of the first people from the Garden He had created for them.
As we close out chapter 2 of Ephesians we'll discover the foundation that anchors our hope, the name we carry and what that means for us, and so much more.
