⏩ Descubre cómo Simon Whetham transforma sonidos cotidianos en experiencias artísticas inmersivas.
🎬 SIMON es artista de origen sonoro británico, crea experiencias sónicas inmersivas desde 2005. Transforma sonidos ambientales en cautivadoras instalaciones y performances, convirtiendo espacios y objetos en instrumentos. Su trabajo abarca eventos globales, desde la Bienal Fresh Winds en Islandia hasta la Bienal Nakanojo en Japón y el Festival Tsonami en Chile. Sus colaboraciones con artistas como Tarab y Gregory Büttner expanden los límites del arte sonoro. En Asia, Whetham participó en el ACC Showcase 2018 en Corea del Sur y realizó talleres en Taiwán. Sus exploraciones se extendieron a Europa del Este, donde organizó ‘Active Crossover’ en MoKS, Estonia, con apoyo del British Council. Este proyecto, entre otros, ha recibido becas del Arts Council England, fomentando intercambios culturales internacionales. Como diseñador de sonido, su trabajo ha destacado en películas y exposiciones premiadas.
🖖🏽 La práctica de Simon Whetham incluye la realización de talleres globales sobre escucha activa y grabación de campo, involucrando a audiencias diversas, desde niños hasta refugiados en países como Colombia, Noruega y Alemania.

The Brothers Ortiz is the story of two brothers–both successful, but in very different ways.
