"Las Puertas de la Percepción: Cuando Aldous Huxley Vio el Infinito"
Hoy quiero llevarte de la mano a través de una de las experiencias más reveladoras que he encontrado en la literatura: "Las Puertas de la Percepción" de Aldous Huxley. Este no es solo un libro sobre drogas o visiones psicodélicas - es un viaje filosófico que cuestiona los mismos cimientos de cómo percibimos la realidad.
Cuando leí por primera vez cómo Huxley describía su experiencia con la mescalina, sentí que alguien finalmente ponía en palabras algo que siempre intuí: que el mundo es mucho más de lo que nuestros sentidos nos muestran. En este episodio, quiero compartir contigo:
- Mi fascinación por la idea del cerebro como "filtro reductor" - ¿por qué solo vemos una fracción de la realidad?
- Las conexiones que descubrí entre Huxley y místicos como William Blake (de quien tomó el título del libro)

Me sorprendió encontrar tanta sabiduría en un texto tan breve. Huxley no solo narra su viaje psicodélico, sino que:
- Cuestiona nuestro materialismo moderno
- Propone que el arte y la espiritualidad son ventanas a lo infinito
- Predijo (en 1954!) muchos debates actuales sobre sustancias y conciencia
