Ever find yourself in a loop, pursuing a long-term relationship without leaving some breathing room for self-discovery and self-enjoyment?

Join me as I take you down memory lane, revisiting an insightful episode from three years ago where I discussed creating space, not just in relationships but in life itself. This classic episode, aptly titled "Creating Space in Your Life," resonates even more today as life has once again led me to a similar space, to immerse in self-exploration and to appreciate the infinite possibilities that space can bring.

With the holiday season around the corner, it's easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle. But it's also a perfect time to reflect and prepare ourselves for new perspectives.

In this replay, I'll also be sharing my take on gearing up for the holiday season. That's not all. There's a fresh, new episode brewing from an exciting location.

Stay with me on this journey and feel free to connect on social media. I can't wait for you to discover the depth and relevance of these timeless lessons. Buckle up and enjoy the replay!

Justin Wenck Ph.D. (00:01):
Welcome.
So glad you could join me.
It's so nice to kind of getstarted on these little more
intimate terms where it's justyou and me, no music, no overly
lavish intro to get between you,me and the love that we're
sharing and are about to share,so welcome.
This is, as you might haveguessed, a different type of

(00:24):
episode than the usual episode,if you usually do listen to the
usual type of episodes.
Yet this is going to be just aspowerful, if not more, because
we're going back back in time toa classic engineering emotions
energy podcast episode.
Now, most shows when theholidays in the US come up, they

(00:45):
phone it in.
They phone it in.
They either don't even do ashow or that's when they do the
best of.
This show is different becauseI'm different and I know you're
different.
I'm phoning it in now, beforethe holiday season, so that you
can get the best, freshestcontent during that time of year
where you might really becraving some new perspectives,

(01:09):
some tools or just a friendly, calming, lovely voice such as
mine, and knowing that it wasrecorded very soon to when you
listened.
So just because this is aclassic episode that I'm about
to play for you doesn't meanthat the lessons aren't very
appropriate for today.
If not, maybe they're even moreappropriate, because when I was

(01:32):
re-listening I was like, oh mygosh, this is still relevant, if
not even more so, now.
It's really really quiteincredible, and what's funny is
some of the things I'm like yeah, that still makes total sense
and there's even more depth thatcan happen about it.
This episode, which goes back tojust about three years exactly,

(01:55):
was recorded November 20, 2020.
It's the 39th episode I everrecorded, and it's called
Creating Space in your Life.
I also thought I would be doingseasons, because I thought that
was the thing podcasts weresupposed to do, so it was the
season one finale.
I did take like two or threemonths off after that, and what
was really fun, kind of likegoing back and revisiting this

(02:16):
episode was one.
I talk about how, basically, Itook space out of trying to find
a long-term relationship, andthat's in the result of how I
ended up meeting my wife, whoI've now been divorced from for
a while now.
And I've kind of gone through asimilar stage recently in my
life too, where I think I'd saywhat's shifted is I kind of was

(02:40):
doing that for that purpose, butthis time I've kind of been
taking a break just to really, really enjoy myself and really
getting a chance to get to knowpeople and myself without that
drive to have to be or havesomebody.
It's really been quiterefreshing and I think there's a
lot of things in life like thatwhere we can start to see like,
hey, maybe I can let go andallow some space and just really

(03:03):
get to enjoy myself, figure outwhat I'm about and what I want,
and allow that to take shape,to take hold, because, as I talk
about in the episode, space isreally a lot of times we think
like, oh my gosh, I have nothing, but really you have infinite
possibility, and that can be alittle unshaky.
And so this episode really isgreat to get into that.

(03:26):
And it also sort of talks aboutgetting ready for the holiday
season, because this was beforethe Thanksgiving holiday back
then.
But don't be worried, don't beworried, I'll be back with a
brand new Piping Hot Freshepisode, possibly from a very
interesting location.
So do stay subscribed, makesure you're following, liking

(03:47):
whatever.
You can Share this with afriend, because I'm sure they'll
benefit and they'll know thatshe care, because there's a lot
of heart, a lot of love in theshow and for me to you.

(04:09):
It would be great.
And yeah, thanks so much, and Ithink that's enough.
Let's get to the show.
Play the show.
Are we going to play the show?
They said, okay, they're goingto play the show.
