(00:00):
When you recognize that by justrelaxing into Why is the world
(00:04):
so perfect and allowing what tocome forth, to come forth, you
can really just let go of a lotof the that you are going to
clearly see is total andcomplete, and you can be so
grateful for all the amazingthings that you've gotten to
experience, and are experiencingthis very moment you're able to
hear this or read this, or seethis, or experience the emotions
(00:24):
that are coming up when I saythings. There's so much going on
right now. You are here in thismoment with me. And how cool is
that getting to be able toexperience this connection, this
love, this joy that you and Iget to share, and when you can
rest in that and then go fromthere and recognize that that's
where you want to be operatingfrom, not from when it's okay
(00:47):
outside, then things are goingto be okay inside.
Are you ready to live a lifewith enough time, money and
energy have relationships andconnections that delight you?
Are you ready for theextraordinary life you know
you've been missing? If so, thenthis is the place for you. I'm a
(01:08):
best selling author, coach, consultant and speaker who's
worked in technology for overtwo decades. I'm a leader at
transforming people andorganizations from operating in
fear, obligation and guilt torunning off joy, ease and love.
It's time for engineeringemotions and energy with me.
Justin Wenck, PhD,today, we're going to be
(01:33):
answering the question, Why isthe world so perfect? Now you
might be like, What the fudgeI'm learning. I gotta like watch
the watch the swears, at leastearlier on, because I like
YouTube. It doesn't like that. Ithink it's after you get a
minute, two minutes in,something like that, then I can,
(01:53):
I can throw the hard F's and theBig B's and the C's and the, I
don't know the MF ers and allthat, but for now, when you can
answer, why is the world soperfect, then you will start to
see a more perfect worldstarting to form to you as you
live it. And because I get it, alot of you might be going, like,
(02:17):
Justin, it's insane, becauseit's like, you know, if you're
watching the news, it's like,there's there's tariffs, there's
horrible things withimmigration, and there's people
being harmed, and there's warsin the world. And I get it, I'm
not saying it's not happening.
I'm not saying that it isn'tsomething that needs to be
(02:38):
improved yet, if all you focuson are the problems. You're just
going to get more problems. WhatI do, and what I'll encourage
you to do, and what we're goingto talk about is, how can you
see that this is the beginningof even more amazing things,
right? I think also a goodquestion is like, why are you so
(02:58):
perfect? You know? Why? Why am Iso perfect? Because each of us
are perfect. It's kind of likewhen I used to do computer
repairs. Sometimes people wouldcall and go, my computer is not
working. I turn the button on,and nothing happens. It's just I
shake it. I'm doing all thethings, and it's just not, it's
not working. And more than once,it's like, oh, is is it plugged
(03:25):
in? Is the power on? Andabsolutely, more than once, the
answer is like, oh, yeah, itwasn't plugged in. Or oh, the
power supply was offered. It wasworking perfectly. When you
understand how you work, howyour world works, you're going
to recognize that it's thatyou're perfect, that the world
is perfect. And when you startrecognize this, it starts to
(03:47):
just become a whole lot moreenjoyable and beneficial, even
when you even when the externalknow, and that's really what a
lot of this is. It really iskind of like focusing on, you
know, we'll use a little bit ofa crass metaphor here, and it's
like, Ah, my body's My body'sbroken. There's skin falling
off, and there's, there's crapthat comes out the back side,
(04:08):
like it's a complete mess. Um,there are some messy parts to
being alive, yet they can be apart of the healthy process of
living, growing, getting moreinformation and coming into
stronger, better selves, right?
Like, it's like, and whenworking out, it's sort of like
that, that pain is the rightamount of pain is, you know, the
(04:29):
lactic acid buildup, all thatkind of thing is part of the
strength, strengthening process.
And when we're sick, you know, sometimes that, like, you know,
the literally vomiting stuffout, getting things out, is part
of us healing and becoming morehealthy. And likewise, when we
look at our world, sometimes wesee these things of like chaos.
Like, oh my gosh, it's like thechaos. One of my favorite game
of thrones quotes is, I think itwas like, was it little finger?
(04:52):
Little Finger. His quote was,Chaos is a ladder. And
basically, when things are goingwild.
That means that there'sopportunity, opportunities for
new things to happen. Chaos ishighly related to creation, and
because, like, if you look athow a lot of art is done, it's
messy. And if you look at theworld and you see mess, think of
(05:16):
it not in terms of, like, brokenbut in terms of part of the
process of creating somethingmore beautiful, more amazing,
the world is also really fuckingperfect, because a lot of great
things to celebrate here on theshow with me that are going to
benefit you. All right. So firstthing, and I'm teasing, I'm
(05:38):
teasing this answer of of how tolook at things as part of growth
before we get going too far. Ido want you to know that this is
the 200th episode, so that we'recelebrating. So stick around
because lots of other cool stuffis also being celebrated, like
the two year anniversary of mybook and some great freebies on
(05:59):
the website. So stick around andmake sure that you enjoy the
show. So this is episode 200This is the 200th episode of the
engineering emotions and energypodcast. So started it in 2020
and been doing it regularly. Andhere is episode 200 and so that
(06:20):
is something really incredibleto celebrate. So would love for
you to if you haven't already, make sure you're subscribing
following, leave a comment. Tella friend. Word of mouth is
fantastic. And also, if youlove, if you love the guests
that I that I bring on the show, because lately, I've been
(06:42):
ensuring that I only let gueststhat I know are going to like
really bring something amazing, amazing yet, if not, I just do
it because I like to bringamazingness to you. But if
there's a guest that you thinkwould be fantastic on this show,
please suggest them send metheir name contact or have them
reach out to me. Conversely, there's a show that you're like
(07:04):
Justin, why are you not on thisshow? You would be such a great
guest again. Put me in contact.
I'm looking would love to be onmore shows to get my word out,
my message out, about how youcan see the world as perfect and
enjoy your life being perfect, because one of the things that I
used to do is this thing calledthe perfect life meditation,
which part of it was a series ofmeditations that I walked you
(07:28):
through to let you see and learnhow your life works and that
it's perfect. You just gottakind of know the instructions
and how your life works. Andgood news is that's free. It's
on my website recently, like, revamped it. So go to Justin
wenck.com there is resources onfree resources, free meditation,
(07:49):
something like that. And thismeditation is great. Lots of
people said, like, oh my gosh, Ican't believe you give this
away. I sometimes I forgot thatI even had it to give away. So
that is, that is there. It'seasier to find than ever. So
definitely check that out. Sogot this 200th episode, got
(08:09):
that, and what else do I got foryou? Like, oh, no, big deal.
It's just been two years sincethe launch of my book.
Engineered to love going goingbeyond success to fulfillment
with joy, ease and love. It'sright, getting out of the fear,
obligation and guilt or fog andinto gel. That's joy, ease and
love. That's what the book isall about. Kindle, hard back
(08:31):
paperback and an audio bookthrough Amazon, also through
where all the better sellershave books it's not at your
bookstore, ask them say, like, Iwant this book. If you do go
through Amazon, it's bangingdeal now till I believe, we're
gonna do two weeks to celebratethe two years. So from May 5, so
(08:51):
be like may 24 so May till May24 it's like the ebooks 99
cents. I think the 599 for thepaperback, and 1399 something
like that. And then, based onyour geo, it's going to be
adjusted like so basically, Ihave practically nothing on
(09:12):
these just to celebrate, to getthe book out. So if you haven't
gotten it, now's a great time,if you like, want to get copies
for friends or for yourworkforce teammates, whatever it
is, let me know. And if you'dlike me to you know, come, come.
Give a talk to your team, whatever it is, again, reach
out. Let's talk. So lots ofgreat things to have
(09:34):
celebrating, like in 200thepisode, two years since the
launch of the book. And youmight be like, Okay, well,
that's great for you. But whatabout for my world Justin, it's
like, so let's take the tariffs, for example, right? Like a lot
of people like, oh, everything'sgonna be more expensive. Yes,
no, maybe briefly, where I seethis is, it's like, we're, think
(09:56):
we're all learning about howthe.
Global Economy is working moreso than we ever thought. And I
think we're seeing how a lot ofthings have not maybe been
working to the benefit of mostpeople involved, like, you know,
wherever it is in the world, itseems like there's been
something that's been out ofbalance, and there's been things
(10:17):
that have been hidden from us.
And so we're starting to seewhat's really been going on, how
things are working, and now thatwe know, I think there's an
opportunity for all of us in theworld to shift the system in a
way that's going to be a lotmore beneficial to all the
workers and all the consumers,no matter where they are. I
think this shit of, oh, we'regoing to explore one group of
people to help another. I thinkthat's time for that to end,
(10:41):
that it really should be be ableto create something wherever you
are in the world and becompensated fairly, and you
should be able to live anywherein the world. And if there's
something, you should be ableto, like, buy it for a
reasonable price. If you thinkit's like, fucking awesome, and
you should know where it'sactually coming from. You should
know who's doing it. You shouldhave be able to know how they're
(11:03):
being treated. Because I thinkwe're kind of finding out that a
lot of the stuff that we thinkis made in certain places isn't,
and we don't necessarily knowwhat money is going to to where.
And so I think this, this leadsto the opportunity for a much
better world for all of us. Andis it a little bumpy? Yeah, it's
(11:25):
a little bumpy, but it's kind oflike, you know, when, when we're
sick and we'd finally decide toget better. Sometimes it's a
little rocky during thatprocess, but it's well worth it,
because the health at the end,it is totally possible to be
feeling even better after anillness or after an injury, or
after something's gone wrongthan before. And that's what I
really view, you know, thistariffs thing. And honestly,
(11:48):
anything that you want to bringup, I would actually love to do
an episode, either per topic, orI just do a bunch of rounds, or
maybe this is a live but ifthere's something where you're
just like, Justin, you can'tfind how this is actually good
for the world. There's no way.
So I would call the segment orthe show what can't Justin find
amazing about something likethat. It's a bit of a play on an
(12:11):
Adam Kroll, a bit called Whatcan't Adam complain about, but
it's me going to be findingwhatever is good about it so
that you're like, Well, what'sgood about lax? And it's like,
well, what's great about lax isthat it helps you appreciate how
friendly and amazing every otherairport that you ever fly
through is. Like, that's justwhat's great about going through
(12:34):
lax is that you have theappreciation for everywhere else
that you might travel through.
So, you know, maybe, maybe it'llbe snarky, but I'll usually try
to find, like, some actual good, good things. So make sure you
send that, you know, either onsocial media, Justin Wenck PhD,
on all the major platforms, orpodcast at Justin wenck.com
(12:57):
you know, I like to ask, Why isthe world perfect anytime that
there's something wrong orsomething you perceive to be
wrong, because it really is justthat perception, because that
perception is based off of whereyou are at this moment in time,
and when you ask that question, like, Why is the world perfect,
it makes you kind of like, tryto shift that perspective and
maybe the time horizon as well.
And this is often where it'salso good to have a lot of
(13:22):
gratitude. I know a lot there'sespecially because I live near
San Francisco, the Bay Area. Sothe most recent president
election here, there were manypeople very, very, very
disappointed, very bummed out.
I thought back to when, youknow, the eight years before,
(13:44):
when this the same president wonthe election or became
president, people were bummedout and thought like the world
was going to end. And then Iwent to the time in between
where that President lost, andthen the other one that they're
supposed to make everythingbetter one. And it was like,
Wait, after the four years ofthe person who was supposed to
(14:06):
ruin everything, lot of stuffstill here. If you listen to
this, you're still here. Youmade it through that period of
time. And if you're listening tothis, watching this, you
probably were able to eat. Youprobably have some amount of
health, and also you made it through the
purse the President that cameafter that. So probably, since
(14:26):
you're still listening to this, you're, you're not one of the
billionaires able to send KatyPerry to suborbital space,
whatever. So you, you know, overthese the Pat, the previous
eight years, your world didn'tend and you didn't become, you
know, the billionaire that'sable to send a penis rocket with
(14:48):
with pop stars and girlfriendsup in it. So what's the point?
Point is, is that these externalthings don't really make a.
Difference one way or the other.
What really makes a differenceis what's going on internally.
And when we change the world, weexperience changes. And this is
one of those things where Ichallenge you to try it out. I
(15:11):
challenge you to do the digitaldetox, to stop watching as much
news, when you stop watchingnews, and then every time you
get bits of what's supposedlygoing on again, that allows me
to question, to ask, like, well, what's how is this going to
benefit my world? As opposed togo like, Oh my gosh, I can't
believe they did that. Oh,there's the end of the world.
(15:33):
Or, Oh, finally, everything issaved.
It really is turning inward andrecognizing that you create your
own world by tapping into yourheart, by tapping into your
intuition and by tapping intoyour vision for the world that
you want for yourself and forthose that you care about. And
(15:53):
so that is why the world isperfect. Is because you can do
that at any time. It doesn'trequire anything. You have it.
You always have had it, and youalways will have it. And that is
because the world is has beenand always will be okay. And
when you recognize that by justrelaxing into Why is the world
(16:14):
so perfect, and allowing what tocome forth, to come forth, you
can really just let go of a lotof the bullshit that you are
going to clearly see is totaland complete bullshit, and you
can be so grateful for all theamazing things that you've
gotten to experience, and areexperiencing this very moment,
because there's so muchhappening right now, like you're
you're able to hear this or readthis or see this, or experience
(16:38):
the emotions that are coming upwhen I say things. There's so
much going on right now. You arehere in this moment with me, and
how cool is that getting to beable to experience this
connection, this love, this joythat you and I get to share, and
when you can rest in that, and then go from there and
(16:58):
recognize that that's where youwant to be operating from, not
from when it's okay outside, then things are going to be okay
inside. That's, that's, that's,that's the bullshit, that's the
the nonsense, that's what is thecrazy making. And it's time for
the peacemaking, the lovemaking, the joy making. And
(17:19):
that's why I'm here after 200episodes, and that's why I will
be here for another 200 orhowever many, and that's why I
wrote my book that again, likeyou go till May 24 it's going to
be phenomenal, phenomenal deallike, literally, I can't. I
don't think I could price it anylower. Amazon wouldn't let me. I
(17:44):
couldn't even make the ebookfree,
even though I thought it's like,come on, it's $1 doing. Do $1
put a little effort in becauseof the universe respects
rewards. Effort doesn't have tobe hard work. This has to be
effort in a direction that ismeaningful for you. And that's
(18:06):
how the flow of energylikes to work. Likes a complete
circuit, right? Doesn't like tobe, you know, one way cut off.
So with that, I would love tohear your ideas for Hey, what?
What can't Justin Find. Find isincredible in this world. So go
ahead, send me some things thatyou think are just like awful
situations or problems in yourlife, and I will show you the
(18:29):
gift that is hidden there. And Ithink we'll kind of a lot of fun
with that. Yes, we'd love tohear that again. If you had
other shows or other guests. Youthink that I'd be a good fit for
would love to, would love toknow that. So with that, I'm
going to call this show a show.
(18:51):
And thank you for listening. Iknow some of you have probably
been here since the beginning.
Andyeah, we're going to keep going.
And yeah, if you have ideas tocelebrate future milestones, I'm
feeling like 25250 might be another one to
celebrate. I don't know there'ssomething, something about it,
so we'll see. So if you haveideas to celebrate, let me know
(19:14):
with that. Thank you and goodday. Thanks for tuning in to
engineering emotions and energywith Justin Wenck PhD, today's
episode resonated with you.
