David de León, concejal de Patrimonio Histórico, reflexiona en esta entrevista con Fuerteventura Digital sobre el papel del patrimonio en el municipio, y sobre los aspectos más polémicos del del Catálogo de Protección de los Bienes Patrimoniales y Culturales de Puerto del Rosario, que se encuentra en exposición pública.
El caso más sonado es la cornisa de la avenida marítima, en la zona conocida como Las Escuevas, un conjunto de viviendas del antiguo Puerto Cabras con vistas al mar, donde sus propietarios tienen un proyecto para demoler las casas y construir un enorme complejo, que además avala el Plan General vigente.
