In this episode of Everything Hurts, Danielle and Cheryl give a little breakdown of beauty issues women in their middle age face. Taking a page out of Andie McDowell’s interview with Katie Couric in 2024 - where she exclaims, “To be an older person trying to be young, what an effort!” - they chat about whether we should finally stop the nonsense. They discuss growing out grey hair, hooded eyes exacting revenge on flawlessly applied cat eyes, and avoiding discount Botox and lash lift kits. They also hit you with treatments that are worth the time/effort/money (hello, Keratin, Latisse, GrandeBROW, microblading, to name a few). And don’t think Cheryl didn’t take notes on Danielle’s brow hack that uses Just for Men for just the right shade.
