It was a beautiful August afternoon when Laura Letts Beckett and her husband Peter were out on the lake for an afternoon fish, when suddenly Peter heard a splash. Initially believing that it was a tug on the end of his fishing line he tried to quickly reel it in only to then see Laura's yellow shorts sinking down 30 feet. Peter claimed to have made the quick attempt to save his wife but when he realized he was to large to go down, he raced to the shore and retrieved a 10 pound rock and was finally able to reach Laura.......But, was this really what happened? was Peter just a grieving husband, or a cold blooded killer?
