The Church: It’s makeup, it’s marks, and it’s mission - Part 3 - Worship

Author Wayne Grudem in his book “Systematic Theology” identifies three purposes of the Church. Firstly the Church exists to love and worship The Lord. Secondly, it functions to build itself up in Love; and thirdly, the Church works together to fulfill the Great Commission. 

In this episode Tim focuses on the first of these purposes - worship. Many hours could be spent teaching on this subject, and there are hundreds of relevant passages of scripture. Tim provides however, a brief overview of the topic of worship,  looking into what the act of worship is, how worship is expressed in scripture, and what the significance is for us as believers.
