Revelation 12:1-6 covers the topic of "The Woman and the Dragon." We are working with the idea that God's sovereignty has ordered all the events of the past to instruct us about the future! In this passage there are five aspects that make this clear.
In v. 12:1a we considered the aspect of 1) The Sign.
Then, in vv. 1b-2 we looked at 2) The Woman.
Now, in vv. 3-4a we see 3) The Dragon, noting a) its identity and b) its action.
