Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, hey, hey you

Faithfully Confident Podcast.
I am your host, courtney Berry, and I am thrilled to connect
with you all today.
Whether you're a new listeneror regular, it's great to have
you with us, and in today'sepisode we're diving into a
topic that's incrediblyimportant for every entrepreneur
the power and the necessity ofslowing down as a business owner
(00:24):
, especially a Christianbusiness owner.
So it's been a month since ourlast episode and I just wanted
to thank you for your patience.
I needed to take some time offjust to slow down and
recalibrate so I can show up asthe best version of myself for
you, and I truly felt that Godwas leading me towards that.
So I just wanted to thank youfor your patience and for
(00:45):
sticking around for this episodeand the episodes to come.
Anyways, as business owners, weoften feel the pressure to
constantly push forward, andsometimes that's the best way to
speed up.
Our progress is truly just byslowing down.
Slowing down, it allows us toreflect, it allows us to reset,
(01:05):
reassess and recharge, and itallows us really to set the
foundation for that sustainablegrowth and that long-term
success.
So today we're going to beexploring why taking a step back
can be the key to unleashingyour business potential, and how
embracing a slower pace canlead to that clarity and that
(01:27):
strength in your journey.
So, without further ado, let'spray, you guys.
Heavenly Father, we gatherbefore you today grateful for
this moment of connection andlearning.
Though we are physically apart, lord, we are all united in
spirit, seeking your wisdom andguidance.
Through this podcast and theseepisodes, lord, we acknowledge
(01:50):
the pressures and the demands ofbeing business owners.
We often feel compelled to pushforward, constantly striving
for progress and success.
Yet we recognize that sometimesthe best way to advance is
truly by slowing down.
Father, help us to understandand embrace this balance,
trusting that it leads tosustainable growth and true
(02:12):
success.
Lord, we thank you for themoments of reflection, the
moments of reassessment andrenewal that comes with slowing
down.
Father, teach us to see thesetimes as opportunities for
growth, aligning our paths withyour divine plan.
Proverbs 3, 5-6 reminds us totrust in you with all of our
(02:33):
hearts and not rely on our ownunderstanding.
May we submit our ways to you, confident that you will guide us
perfectly in our ways.
As we listen to today's message, remind us of the importance of
your perfect timing.
Let us find peace in knowingthat slowing down allows us to
align with your will, leading toclarity, leading to strength.
(02:56):
Isaiah 40 31 encourages us thatthose who hope in the Lord will
renew their strength, soaringon wings like eagles.
May this truth inspire us toembrace the pause and to trust
the process you have set beforeus.
We pray for everyone tuning inthat they may find patience and
(03:18):
encouragement in the upcomingplans and content.
Help us to remember thatslowing down is not about losing
momentum, but about gainingdeeper understanding and
renewing vigor.
Thank you, lord, for thiscommunity and the shared journey
that we are on together.
Bless each listener with thecourage to slow down when needed
(03:39):
and the faith to trust in yourperfect plan.
In Jesus' name, we pray Amen.
Trust in your perfect plan.
In Jesus name, we pray Amen.
Hey guys, so welcome back to thepodcast.
Like I mentioned, it's been amonth since our last episode and
(03:59):
again I just, I really do trulywant to thank you for your
patience, because I did needthat time to slow down and just
recalibrate and just actuallyshow up as the best version of
myself for you, because I knowwhen we are just not stuck, but
when we're just not feeling likethat best version of ourself.
We don't show up as excited andjust with that zest for life
(04:19):
and just loving what we do.
And I felt like I really neededto step back and slow down so
that I could continue to show up.
Because, oh man, we are ontoday's in part three, where
it's going to be coming.
I promise you it's coming, butI just I wasn't I'm feeling
aligned with doing part threeyet and I feel like it was
(04:40):
because God was preparing me fora just a really, really
powerful part three.
You guys, it's going to bereally powerful, I don't know,
but I promise you part three ofour series is going to be worth
the wait.
And if you're going part three, what do you mean?
Part three, I haven't.
(05:01):
I didn't even listen to partone and part two.
Go back and listen to it,because those are powerful.
Go listen to it if you haven'tyet, but anyways, so I just I
needed that time to step back, just to, as I mentioned, to just
recalibrate and just find thatversion of myself that I can be
for you guys to be able to bethat expert, be that leader and
(05:24):
show up for you guys in a waythat I want to be as a business
owner, as a podcast host, I wantto be that person for you guys.
So I just I really wanted tofocus this episode and educate
you guys on the importance ofslowing down, because I know we
live in a very fast-paced world, especially as entrepreneurs
online.
We see so much noise around usabout how fast and how quick we
(05:49):
can grow.
There's tons of terminologythrown out there, how we can
quantum leap, how we can, youknow, just amplify our results,
how we can manifest our results, and just there's so much noise
out there and just seeing otherentrepreneurs who are doing all
the things and just making thesesuper quick transitions in
(06:10):
their business and quick, fastresults, and we feel like maybe
we're not doing enough, as we'reseeing that.
I know I've felt like thatpersonally, which is again why I
really want to record thisepisode for you guys today,
because I was rushing.
I'm I'm actually in a um, amembership right now where
(06:32):
they're teaching us to create amembership site which, as you
know, I'm creating one for youguys, super excited about it, um
, um.
But seeing all these results, Iwas like, oh my gosh, like
everything was going so fast andI just I I didn't take that
step back, to just remember, toslow down, to reflect on the
(06:54):
journey, to reassess the journey, to have that you, that how do
we word that Basically just beable to step back and see, like,
okay, god did this, like thismembership site didn't do this,
god did this, I didn't do this,he did this.
And it's really important to beable to step back so that you
(07:15):
can acknowledge that and knowthat it's only possible through
God.
These results are possiblebecause it is your divine
purpose, because he set thispath here for you and you're
seeing these incredible, amazingresults in your life and in
your business because you wereable to step back and assess and
(07:38):
go okay, lord, take the wheel, where do you want me to go?
What is the next step for me?
And until we're able to do that, we're going to be in the
driver's seat, we're going to betaking the lead.
And sometimes, when thathappens, we go too fast and we
end up crashing and we burn ourbusiness down.
We deal with that burnout, westart struggling because we just
(08:01):
we went too fast and I feltlike that was honestly where I
was going with everything.
So I just I needed that stepback to just reassess everything
.
So, all right, truth, bomb outthere, honesty out of the way.
So, if you can relate to that,we're a team, we got this, we
are doing this together.
We're a team, we got this, weare doing this together, anyways
(08:25):
.
So, like I mentioned recently, Iwas about to launch that new
membership.
It's focused on building yourbusiness without the constant
stress of searching for newclients.
It teaches you how to signthose clients confidently while
mastering the art of sellingwith ease, with a faith-based
approach and I really want tomention that it is a faith-based
(08:46):
approach.
It's not new age, it's notanything like that, like it is
completely focused on my value, which is God at the center of my
business.
So I just want to throw thatout there.
It is a faith-based membership.
I just want to throw that outthere.
It is a faith-based membership.
But anyway.
So I just like I said, I feltlike everything was moving so
(09:09):
fast and it was almost like Godwas just telling me to slow down
.
And the last time I had thatlittle nudge from God to slow
down and I was obedient, itturned out to be the best
decision ever.
I won't go into details becausethat's not what the point of
this podcast is, but I will sayit was the best decision ever
for my business, when I sloweddown, I took that step back and
(09:33):
even at one point I took asabbatical and it was amazing,
you guys.
So if you ever have that nudge,be obedient, go listen and go
do the things.
Do whatever he's telling you todo, because, oh, my goodness, I
could write an entire episodeon that, but again, not the
point.
But anyways, like it saysProverbs 3, 5 to 6, it says
(09:58):
trust in the Lord with all ofyour heart and lean not on your
own understandings.
In all of your ways, submit tohim and he will make your path
straight.
Trusting in God's timing isessential.
It's essential, you guys,slowing down.
It allows us to align with hisplan and his timing.
And his timing is always soperfect.
(10:20):
And his timing and his timingis always so perfect.
We don't know it, we don'trealize it until everything is
set in stone and finished andcomplete.
But oh, his timing is always soperfect, it is so perfect.
I love his timing.
And, again, we may not feellike his timing is perfect as
we're going through the seasons, but he knows exactly what he's
(10:45):
doing when he is orchestratingyour life, he knows exactly what
he's doing.
But by the time we slow down,we're able to refocus, we're
able to shift, we're able tojust reestablish where we are in
our life and our business, andI wanted to share that.
Just by taking this time toslow down, I've been able to
(11:10):
just make sure that mymembership launch is perfectly
aligned with my mission, withour mission, and I've been able
to prepare content that, oh man,it's so empowering, it's so
empowering, it's so powerful.
But I've been able to preparecontent that it's going to
(11:31):
empower you and help you withgetting those sales, and it
hasn't been adding anyunnecessary stress to my life
like feeling that, oh my gosh, you have to get this done now,
all right.
So I'm not sure where itstopped there.
My daughter woke up, so I hadto go deal with that, and this
(11:51):
is an unended podcast.
I do not edit this at all.
I love that about this podcastand apparently so does everyone
else.
So no edits here.
But anyways, recalibratingyourself for just better
outcomes by taking that time toslow down, it's allowed me to
prepare content that's going tohelp you with selling with
(12:16):
confidence.
It's going to help you withshowing up in your business as
the leader that God has createdyou to be.
And I've done all of thatwithout adding any unnecessary
stress of oh my gosh, this needsto get done today, this has to
be done tomorrow, because I'mlaunching tomorrow, I'm going to
have people signing up tomorrowand if I don't have the content
(12:39):
out, like oh my gosh, so muchunnecessary stress, that did not
need to happen.
I want this membership to be sopowerful and impactful for you
guys, without the pressure ofhaving a set date for it to come
out, and I mean this is whyI've never actually launched
anything with an actual launchplan.
(12:59):
I've just gone out and wingedit, like if you know me and
you're in my world and you'vebeen in my world for a while,
you know, if I decide I'm goingto do something, I decide and my
launch is like okay, bam, thisprogram's coming out.
Here's the link.
Like I've never, even untilthis membership site, ever, ever
and I kid you, not ever made alanding page.
(13:23):
I've always just basically sentpeople links and talk to them
about the program and talk tothem about what they're signing
up for, and they know whether itis for them or not for them,
and they sign up.
I've never done a landing pageuntil now.
So I just, like I said, I feltlike everything was just coming
so fast and I feel like I wasn'tquite aligned with how fast it
(13:45):
was going and just how I was.
I felt like I was just gettingthat.
You know that feeling in yourchest you get when you're like,
oh, I'm not sure if I'm ready, was just getting that.
You know that feeling in yourchest you get when you're like,
oh, I'm not sure if I'm readyfor this yet, and you just you
feel like you are almost holdingyourself back.
But you don't know, like I wasgetting that feeling and I'm
like I don't like that.
We're going to take a step back.
(14:06):
I don't like that.
So I trusted myself.
I trusted in that little nudgefrom God and I know taking that
step back is going to be sopowerful when I take that moment
back into getting themembership going.
So, anyways.
So some exciting upcoming plans.
(14:27):
I'm excited for what's going tocome when part three is
launched.
I promise you it's going to beworth the wait.
You guys, whenever I take astep back to just refocus and
recalibrate myself into where itis that God wants me to be oh,
it is so worth the wait, it's soworth the wait.
And then, when it comes to themembership site, it is going to
(14:51):
be coming.
I will make a communityannouncement when everything is
all set up and figured out, withan official date and so on and
so forth.
So I will have that coming heresoon.
And I say soon because I don'thave an official date yet.
So it takes the pressure off me.
But yeah, anyways, in themeantime, you know, hang tight
with me.
Great things are on the horizonand I want you to remember that
(15:19):
slowing down isn't about losingmomentum.
It's about gaining that clarityand getting that strength and
where it is that God wants us tobe.
So, just if you feel that nudgeto slow down, slow down, it's
okay.
Slowing down is what we need todo in order to speed up, and
Isaiah again reminds us butthose who hope in the Lord will
renew their strength.
They'll soar.
They will soar on wings likeeagles.
(15:41):
They will not run and not growweary.
They will walk and not be faint.
Read that scripture, memorizethat scripture.
It is so powerful.
It is the most impactfulscripture I could probably share
with you regarding this episodeis just slow down, you're going
to be okay.
Slow down, it will be okay.
(16:03):
You will not grow weary, youwill not be faint, you're going
to soar on the wings, god isgoing to renew your strength and
everything will work out.
So just take that step back, slow down if you need it, and I
want to again thank you for yourunderstanding and your
continued support with thispodcast, and just remember to
(16:25):
embrace the pause, trust in theprocess and get ready for an
amazing journey ahead, becausewhen we're able to do that,
powerful things start happeningin your life.
It is so beautiful.
But anyways, stay blessed and Iwill see you soon for our next
episode, when it comes out here, soon after this little breather
(16:47):
here to step back, and, yeah,I'm excited for our step three,
our part three of our series andthis membership site.
I'm just oh my gosh, you guys,I'm so excited for it.
It's going to be so good.
Anyways, I love you guys.
God bless you and thank youagain for your continued support
