Hey, hey, hey.
Welcome to, or welcome back to,the Faithfully Confident Podcast
(00:47):
, where we talk about all thingsfaith, sales and marketing.
I'm excited.
So today's episode we're goingto dive a little bit into the
topic of sales and just thatfear and that anxiety that some
of you get around just not eventhe word selling, but just
selling your services, sellingand putting yourself out there,
(01:10):
putting your offers out into theworld.
We are going to dive into thattoday.
So, without further ado, let'spray.
Heavenly Father, we come beforeyou today with hearts open and
minds ready to receive yourwisdom.
Lord, we thank you for thegifts and talents you have
placed in each and every one ofus.
(01:30):
Lord, help us to remember thatthese are not for our own glory,
but to serve and bless others.
In your name, father, we askthat you remove any fear or
doubt that tries to hold us backfrom fulfilling the purpose
that you've called us to.
Lord, strengthen our faith sothat we may step out boldly,
trusting that you are guiding usin every decision.
(01:51):
Lord, may we walk in confidence, knowing that you are the
source of strength and that withyou, all things are possible.
Lord, help us to use theabilities you've given to us to
make a difference, and leteverything we do reflect your
love and grace.
In Jesus' name, we pray amen.
Have you ever felt paralyzed bythe fear of putting yourself out
(02:14):
there?
Whether it's offering yourservices, pitching a new idea or
even just sharing yourexpertise in general, the fear
of rejection or not being goodenough, it can hold you back.
I've been there too, and it canfeel very overwhelming.
But I realized something it'snot me that I'm putting out
(02:35):
there.
I want to repeat that it's notme that I'm putting out there.
When you are selling, it is notyou that you are putting out
there, and that is a lot of whatpeople are afraid of is their.
I don't want to put myself outthere.
I don't want to put myself outthere.
It's the gifts that God hasentrusted to you, your work,
your services and the value thatyou bring to others.
(02:56):
It isn't about promotingyourself, but it's about serving
others with what you are goodat.
There are people out there whoneed what you have to offer, and
staying stuck in that fear anddisbelief, it not only holds you
back, but it also denies themthe help that they're seeking.
(03:16):
They have been praying for yourservices.
They have been praying for whatyou have to offer, and that's
what I want to talk about todayis overcoming that fear with
with a heart rooted in yourfaith and the understanding that
God has called us to step out.
God has called us to use thosegifts, those talents, and trust
(03:38):
him with the outcome.
So let's dig deep into thattoday.
So again, it's not about you.
It's not about the value youbring.
It's not about you.
It's about the value that youbring.
I want you to remember thatwhen you are offering your
services, you're not sellingyourself.
You're sharing a solution thatsomeone else desperately needs.
(04:04):
They have been praying for theanswer that you are about to
provide them, and if you staystuck in that fear and remember.
2 Timothy 1.7 reminds us thatGod has not given us a spirit of
fear, but of power, love andsound mind.
And when that fear creeps inand holds you back, it's really
(04:25):
important to recognize that thisfear is not from God.
He has equipped you with thestrength and the wisdom to step
out in faith.
He has equipped you with theconfidence and the courage to
push through and perseverethrough the challenges and
provide you with the solutionsthat you need to give to your
(04:46):
clients, to give to youraudience.
God gifted you with thesetalents and abilities so that
you can help others.
And when you're holdingyourself back with that fear,
when you give into that fear ofputting yourself out there, of
pitching that idea, sharing yourexpertise, you know that fear
(05:06):
of rejection, that fear of notbeing enough.
Yes, there's a lot of fears outthere, but fear is not from God
.
I want you to step out in faith, not in disbelief.
I don't know if you know thisstory or not, but Peter walked
on water and when he kept hiseyes on Jesus, the doubt still
(05:41):
set in he to sink.
And in the same way, whenyou're focused on that fear, you
begin to sink in disbelief, butwhen you're focusing on christ
and the mission that he's calledyou to that god-given purpose,
you're going to find thatcourage and that strength to
continue to move forward.
I want you to trust God withthe outcomes of what is
(06:02):
happening within your life, within your business and when
you are selling your services, when you are putting your
services out there, when you'reputting your offers out there,
when you're putting your giftsand your strengths and your
abilities out there into theworld.
I want you to put your trustinto God and know that selling
with confidence is also an actof faith.
By stepping out and sharing yourservices with confidence, you
(06:24):
are trusting God to use yourgifts and your talents for his
purpose.
You're not selling to takesomething from someone, and I
know that's.
Another huge disbelief is youcan't take money from people
because you're taking somethingaway from them and you should
just as a Christian, you shouldgive your services away for free
.
No, you're selling to provide asolution that can improve their
(06:49):
lives, and you're alsoglorifying God with your work
when you offer your serviceswith that excellence and that
integrity, and you're alsoglorifying God with your work
when you offer your serviceswith that excellence and that
integrity and you stay withinyour beliefs.
You are glorifying God throughyour work.
Your success isn't just foryour benefit.
It reflects the goodness andthe provisions of God.
When you continue to step outin faith and act within that,
(07:13):
your service is a blessing toothers.
I want you to step out today.
I want you to step out todayand I want you to remove that
fear.
Stop being paralyzed by thatfear.
That fear is just an emotion.
It's not a truth.
It's not.
It's just an emotion.
(07:34):
It is not a truth.
It is just an emotion.
It's not a truth.
It's not.
It's just an emotion.
It is not a truth.
It is just an emotion.
It is put there from the enemyto stop you and to give you that
paralysis so that you feel likeyou're not enough.
You feel like you can't putyourself out there.
You feel like you're not theexpert in this area.
It's so many things, but it'snot.
(07:56):
It's just an emotion.
Put your services out there, putyour trust in God, give God the
outcome and say you know what?
This is what I offer, this iswhat I do.
Here is the price, here's myservices, and put it in God's
hands and step away and walkaway and trust that what is
meant to here is the price, here's my services, and put it
in God's hands and step away andwalk away and trust that what
(08:17):
is meant to happen is going tohappen.
We don't have to feel icky orpushy or salesy in any
circumstances when we areputting our offers out into the
world.
Just like Sally has her idealclients, susie has her ideal
clients.
You have your ideal clients too.
So put your offers out there, because otherwise your ideal
clients are going to findsomeone else who offers the same
(08:39):
thing.
But you're never going to knowthat you can help those people
unless you trust in yourself, unless you trust in your
abilities and you realize that, hey, I am enough, I can do this,
I am capable, I have God withinme, I cannot fail and God
blessed me with this purpose andthis task.
I can do it.
I can do it.
(09:00):
I can do it.
I can do it.
It's not about you.
It's never, ever been about you.
It is about the value that youbring.
It is about the gifts and thetalents and the abilities that
God blessed you with to helpothers.
So get out there, push that fearaside and go and serve those
(09:21):
people and fulfill that callingthat God has called you to.
You are meant to serve, you'remeant to serve.
You can do it, you are capable.
I believe in you, I trust youand I know that God is going to
give you everything that youneed in order to take the next
step.
So I love you, god bless youand I will see you around for
