Hey, hey, hey.
Welcome back to the FaithfullyConfident Podcast.
(00:46):
Today we are talking aboutsomething that I truly believe
every faith-driven entrepreneurneeds, and that is learning how
to pray over your business withpower, with boldness, and just
with that expectation.
Because prayer, it isn't achecklist.
It's a foundation of everythingthat we build.
(01:09):
We want God within our business.
And when we pray, we areinviting Him into our business.
And maybe you've been showingup, creating, posting, and
selling, but it feels likesomething's been missing.
Maybe you've been operating morein your own strength than a
place of surrender.
I have been there too.
(01:31):
And today we're going to talkabout how to bring your business
back to the feet of Jesus andinvite him into every part of
your business.
So if you are ready, let's beginthis episode and let's pray, you
guys.
(01:51):
Father, we come before you rightnow, not as entrepreneurs
chasing numbers, but as yourchildren seeking your presence.
God, we thank you for the dreamyou placed inside of us.
Thank you that this businessisn't just a random business.
It's it's an assignment.
You called us to create, youcalled us to serve, you called
(02:15):
us to impact and to reflect yourkingdom here on earth.
Lord, I lift up every listenertuning in right now, every
woman, every man who feelstired, uncertain, and unseen.
I pray, Holy Spirit, that youwould meet them right now where
they are, in their car, in theirkitchen, in their office, and
(02:38):
just fill that space with yourpresence, Lord.
God, breathe fresh wind into dryplaces.
Where there's been discerndiscouragement, pour out divine
confidence.
Where there's been confusion, release the clarity.
Where there's been striving,Lord, teach us to rest in your
(03:01):
rhythm of grace.
Father, we surrender ourbusinesses to you completely.
Our offers, our ideas, ourincome, our influence.
Lord, it is all yours and wegive it to you today.
If there's anything that we'rebuilding that's not from you, oh
Lord, please strip it away fromus.
(03:22):
But if it is from you, breathelife into it, multiply it,
expand it.
Let us give glory to yourkingdom.
Father, give us boldness tospeak about what we carry,
wisdom to lead with integrity, and the discernment to recognize
those divine opportunities whenthey come.
(03:43):
Father, we declare right nowthat every client that we serve,
every message that we share, andevery sale we make will advance
your kingdom.
That through our obedience, lives will be changed, not
because of us, but because youmove through us.
Lord, come and take over ourbusinesses.
(04:06):
We choose to partner with youtoday in this season.
We won't rush ahead, we won'thold back, we will follow and we
will let you lead, Lord.
Anoint our hands to build ourvoices to speak life, our hearts
to remain pure before you.
And we call forth thoseconnections, those provisions,
(04:28):
and just open doors that no mancan shut, Lord, and you are the
only one that can open thosedoors.
Father, when fear tries to creepin, remind us that you've
already gone before us.
And when doubt whispers, oh, letyour word roar louder.
(04:48):
When we feel small, remind usthat we are we are the children
of a king and we lack nothing.
God, we give you the glory, thecredit, and the control.
May we seal seal this prayerwith gratitude, with
expectation, and with completefaith, believing that from this
(05:09):
moment forward something willshift within us and within our
business.
In this Jesus, we pray.
Amen.
I want to start this episodetoday sharing a very powerful
story with you guys about when Ifirst started my business.
I don't know if many of you haveheard this story or not, so I
(05:31):
want to share it again becauseit it really shows the power of
surrendering.
So when I first started mybusiness, I had nothing lined
up.
I had no clients, I had nosafety net, and I just had faith
and just that that thought fromGod saying, Hey, I need you to
quit your job, and I need you tostart this business.
(05:55):
And again, remember, I had noclients, no safety net, nothing
lined up.
Like I did not know what I wasdoing.
All I knew is that I hated myjob and it was time to quit, and
God had this big plan for me.
I was not ready, but I knew Ineeded to surrender and I knew I
had to be obedient and to befaithful and just follow through
(06:17):
with it.
So I remember sitting there andhaving just quit my nine to five
thinking, okay, Lord, you saidto do this, so I'm trusting that
you're gonna provide.
And he did, but not in the way Iwas expecting.
I wasn't an over I wasn't anovernight success.
It was just one small step ofobedience after another.
(06:38):
And it was praying over mybusiness every single day, even
when there was nothing to showfor it.
And that season taught me thatsurrender isn't weakness, it's
where God shows up thestrongest.
And in Proverbs 16, 3, it says,Commit to the Lord whatever you
do, and he will establish yourplans.
That's not a one-time thing,it's it's a daily thing.
(07:00):
It's a daily surrender.
It's handing God your schedule, your strategy, your sales, your
vision, and just trusting thathe's gonna make it align with
his will.
I used to separate my strategysessions from my prayer time.
Like one of them was spiritual, okay?
(07:21):
So one of them was spiritual, and the other one was about
business.
Like I used to separate themcompletely, they were never
combined.
And I actually remember when Ifirst started my business, I
used to completely separate Godfrom my business.
Like He was not a part of mybusiness at all.
I did not talk about God.
And then I remember that feelingof discernment of like, hey,
(07:44):
this isn't right.
Like, no, they are one.
Like, this is the plan that Godhas for me.
So God needs to be in my plan,He needs to be out there.
I need to speak about Him.
I need to share what He's doingin my business, in my life.
And that was when they kind ofstarted combining.
And I felt the enemy attackingme during this moment because I
(08:05):
was getting people reaching outto me saying, Hey, Courtney, you
should maybe not talk about Godin your business.
That's very unprofessional.
And you're gonna you're notgonna get get clients if you
talk about God, and it's like,um, excuse me.
That is by the farther from thetruth than it could possibly be.
(08:26):
I need to shout at the top of mylungs that God blessed me with
this business and this purpose, and he qualified and equipped me
for this divine purpose.
Not hide him.
I do not need to hide him.
But, anyways, we're going on abit of a tangent there.
So let's go back.
So invite God into yourstrategy.
(08:47):
You you can pray while you'rewhile you're planning.
You can invite the Holy Spiritinto your brainstorming
sessions.
Ask him questions like, Lord, what do you want me to focus on
this season?
What do you want me to focus ontoday?
Who are you calling me to servetoday?
How do you want me to servethem?
How do you want me to show uptoday?
Questions like that are sopowerful in your business.
(09:10):
And I've learned that when youpray through your strategy, you
are going to receive clarity.
You can't get from any onlinecourse, from any mentor out
there.
God gives direction.
He does not give like God givesdirection that no algorithm can
(09:30):
provide.
No algorithm, no course, novideo, no podcast, no nothing.
God gives you that directionpersonally.
And you can like when things gethard, our our instinct is to fix
it ourselves.
So we always go, like, oh,what's the best what's the
(09:52):
course out there that's gonna, you know, fix this for me?
What's like what training can Itake?
What masterclass can I take?
What mentor can I sign up towork with?
But God wants you to bring thosechallenges straight to him
because he has the answers.
Remember, he's the one thatequipped and qualified you for
this purpose.
He has the answers for you ifyou're willing to go to him.
(10:15):
And I can't tell you how manytimes I've prayed over my
business that felt like it wasfalling apart, or asked God to
help me have the right words andsales conversations before I
started mastering sales.
And sometimes he didn't changethe outcome right away.
But he did always change myheart.
(10:35):
He gave me that peace, even whenthose numbers didn't add up.
It is prayer, it is prayer, youguys, that keeps us anchored
when the outcome isn't what wehoped for.
It keeps our focus on who isleading us and not what we can
(10:56):
control, because we always wantto be in control.
It is natural for us to want tobe in control.
That's why surrendering is sohard for us.
And I want you to, if you haveyour Bible with you or if you
have a piece of paper with youright now, I want you to write
down these scriptures becausethey are going to be such a
(11:17):
powerful business tool for youwhen you don't know what to pray
and you just want to speak God'spromises within your business.
You don't have to have to pray.
You just need to know thesescriptures.
And these verses are going toremind you that your business
isn't it isn't built on trends,it's not built on algorithms,
but it's built built on thetruth.
(11:38):
So this is the prayer that I usewhen I am praying, and I just I
took all of these from theBible.
It is literally word per word ofscriptures in the Bible.
And if you want a copy of thisexact prayer that I use, the one
that I pray before launches, coaching calls, big decisions,
(12:01):
etc., just DM me the word prayerover Instagram at
SheBloomsFaithfully, and I willsend it your way.
So what it says is, if I remainin God and God's words remain in
me, ask whatever I wish and itwill be done for me.
All things that I ask for inprayer, believe I will receive,
but when I ask, I must believeand not doubt, because the one
(12:25):
who doubts is like a wave of thesea, blown and tossed by the
wind.
I do not have because I have notasked, and when I did ask, I
asked with the wrong motives.
Lord, I am asking and I am readyto receive.
Lord, I am seeking and I'm readyto find.
Lord, I am knocking and readyand fully prepared for you to
open the doors.
Amen.
So if you want a copy of thatprayer, just send me the word
(12:47):
prayer at She Blooms Faithfullyon Instagram, and I would love
to send it your way.
Because I want you to havesomething tangible that you can
speak over your own businesswith confidence and faith.
And just if you were like me andyou just didn't know how to
pray, that's a great prayer foryou to pray over your business.
So you don't need the perfectwords to pray over your
(13:10):
business.
Like I said, those are all takenfrom scripture.
Every word on there is scriptureword per word, other than like
the end that I am ready to find,I am knocking.
I mean, those are paraphrased, but they are in the Bible.
But the rest of it is all justscripture.
When you pray, it isn't aformula, it's a relationship.
(13:32):
It's saying, God, I want, Idon't want to build this without
you.
And when you do that, you'regonna start noticing that shift.
You're gonna notice that thatpeace is now replacing that
pressure and that faith isreplacing that fear.
You're not just running abusiness, you are running a
(13:54):
kingdom assignment.
This is your assignment onearth, is to run your ministry.
So I want you to pray over itlike it matters to heaven
because it does.
This is God's assignment for youon this earth.
He equipped and he qualified youto run this business.
(14:14):
So pray over your business.
Invite him into your business.
Be willing to have that heart toserve, be willing to fulfill
that ministry that he blessedyou with.
And really, that's that's all Ihave for you guys today.
(14:35):

iTunes.
