become entrepreneurs and youdesire the confidence, pursue a
business.

things faith, confidence, marketing, and sales, you are in

(00:25):

Oh, and don't forget tosubscribe.
Hey, hey, hey friends! Welcomeback to Faithfully Confident

(00:45):
Podcast.
Okay, so we're getting realtoday because I know firsthand
how easy it is to say you trustGod with your business, but
you're secretly still panickingover your sales and your income
in your business.
Like I see you praying forclients, you quote the
scriptures, but when it's timeto actually post your offer or

(01:08):
follow up with that lead, suddenly you're questioning
everything.
Was that too pushy?
Should I have said thatdifferently?
Why hasn't anyone replied yet?
Oh my gosh, you left me on red.
And before you know it, you'reoperating out of fear instead of
faith.
Hands up if that's you.
Not that I can see your hands.
Anyway so today we're breakingthat down.

(01:29):
The difference between strivingand surrendering, what
fear-based selling actuallylooks like, and how to shift
your heart to sell from peaceand faith instead.
So let's invite God in before webegin and let's pray.
Lord, I thank you for everysingle person listening right

(01:50):
now, for the calling that you'veplaced on their life and
business.
You've trusted them to steward.
Father, we know that fear is notfrom you, it is from the enemy,
Lord, and we don't want to beshackled by fear.
So right now, we lay down everyounce of anxiety, every ounce of
striving and self-doubt that hastried to attach itself to our

(02:11):
business and our work.
Lord, we surrender our goals, wesurrender our launches, our
numbers, our timelines, everything with our business to
your feet, Lord.
We give it to you.
Father, remind us that you arethe ultimate provider, not the
algorithm, not the inbox, notour next sale, not our next

(02:32):
conversation.
Lord, you are the one who opensdoors that no one can shut.
So I pray that you would renewour minds today, Lord, that you
would teach us to sell and servefrom a place of confidence and
knowing that we are simply thevessel you're using to reach the
people you've already chosen.

(02:53):
When we start to cling tootightly, Lord, just gently
remind us that surrender iswhere peace is at.
Lord, we want to beentrepreneurs who move with
faith, not fear, who trust theprocess because we trust the one
who called us to this purpose, the one who equipped and

(03:14):
qualified us.
Lord, that is you, and we wantto trust you in the process of
building this business.
So have your way in our hearts,Lord, in our businesses today,
and guide us and lead us.
In Jesus' name we pray.
Amen.
I'm gonna tell you somethingtoday that is going to hit a

(03:36):
home.
It's something that we all know, but we don't really actually
know.
Like we know it it's true, butwe don't really process it.
And that is that fear and faithcan't coexist in the same
breath.
Kind of like how you can't beangry or happy in the same
moment.
You can't be fearful but befaithful at the exact same time.

(04:00):
You're either believing in God'spromises or you're believing in
your fear.
Now, don't get me wrong, thisdoesn't mean that you'll never
ever feel fear again because weare human beings, fear is
natural for us.
It just means that you don't letit make your business decisions
anymore.
So here's how to tell if you'reselling from fear, and you're

(04:22):
probably going to either feelyou align with all of these and
this all hits home, or it mightbe just a few of them.
But either way, we have all beenthere.
You are not alone, and fear isvery sneaky, and it often
disguises itself as beingstrategic or being humble, but
underneath it's reallycontrolling you.

(04:43):
So some things might be youconstantly second guess your
pricing, you're, you know, oh,is this the right price?
Oh, I should make it higher, Ishould make it lower.
And you're just constantlythinking about the pricing when
really you just need to price itonce.
Go with your guy, go with whatGod told you to price it at and
go with it.
You don't need to change itconstantly and second guess

(05:04):
yourself because you're justwasting time.
Something else is you changeyour offer every week because
you think, oh, this is the onethat will finally people will
buy.
Stop changing your offers, youguys, and just make that offer,
master it, and sell that offer.
That is how millionaires aremade is they master that one

(05:26):
program, they master that onestrategy, and they just keep
repeating it.
So stop reinventing the wheel.
God already has equipped andqualified you, He's already
placed that desire on your part, your part, your heart.
He's already given you thatprogram, he's already given you
that price.
So just get out there and do it.
Stop selling from fear andchanging every single little

(05:46):
detail.
You maybe spend more timerefreshing your analytics than
resting in God's presence.
I know I've done that before.
I sometimes still do that, and Icatch myself when I do it and
go, wait, no, it doesn't matter.
God's gonna, you know, push thisto whoever needs to see it.
Doesn't matter if, you know, 10people see it or 10,000 people

(06:09):
see it.
God is going to put it in frontof the people that need to see
it.
Ah, something else.
You feel guilt or shame afterpromoting your offer, even
though you know it's there toserve people, you know it's
there and it might be the answerto someone's prayer.
Selling from fear is so sneaky.

(06:33):
You're when you're selling fromfaith, that energy shifts
entirely.
You move slower, you show upwith peace instead of that fear.
You follow up because you care, not because you're desperate,
not because you need that sale, not because you need to have an
answer today.
You can rest after you postrather than spiraling out of

(06:56):
control and wondering if youshould delete that post, or
maybe you should reword it, ormaybe you should post at a
different time, maybe youraudience isn't available right
now.
God is going to put your contentin front of the people that need
to see it when they're ready tosee it.
Okay, God is going to put thosepeople in your path when they

(07:18):
are ready, when you are ready.
It's not the algorithm, it's notlike it's God.
It's God, okay.
But, anyways, so before I go ona tangent, let's get back to
where we were.
So selling with selling throughfear or selling through faith.
So faith says, I trust thatGod's already spoken to those

(07:38):
that need what I offer.
And your fear says, I need toconvince them, or I'll miss out.
I need to convince them, or I'mgoing to miss out.
You just you.

(08:01):
This is why I do what I do, youguys.
I need you guys not to do that.
Um, so another thing, faithsays, I'm showing up to serve.
And fear says, I'm showing up toprove my worth, I'm showing up
to prove my value.
And you can feel the differencebetween those two, especially in
sales conversations, as theperson on the other side, they

(08:23):
can feel it.
They know, they know when you'rejust trying to convince them or
you're gonna miss out on a sale.
They know, they can feel that.
So the truth is you can't faithyour way into peace.
If your actions are still rootedin fear, you can't pray for that
provision and refuse to rest.

(08:45):
You can't expect thesupernatural results when you're
operating in fear.
So here's your reframe fortoday.
Faith doesn't mean doing less,it means doing what God's called
you to do with that right heart.
It's not about abandoningstrategy, it's not about, again,
doing less.

(09:05):
It's about aligning thatstrategy with surrender.
It means showing up for yourshift for the day in your
business and praying to God andsaying, How can I serve today?
What do you need me to do today?
Father, guide me, lead me, blessmy path with those people who I
can help today.
So you need to talk about likestart, not talk about, sorry.

(09:29):
You need to invite God as theCEO of your business into your
business that day.
That's why I love starting thesepodcast episodes with prayer
because I'm inviting God intothis conversation with us.
So with that said, like that'ssomething we do inside the
Confident Sales Academy.
It's that new membership I justcreated.

(09:50):
And it's not another spaceabout, you know, how to sell
more programs.
It's a space where we can bringboth the practical and the
spiritual together.
It's where you're gonna learnhow to confidently show up, how
to share your offers and justsell in a way that feels like
worship and not work, notsalesy, not icky.
We talk about how to invite Godinto your sales process, how to

(10:12):
handle rejection without losingthat confidence, you know, when
you get those no's or not rightnow, or let me talk to my
husband, you know, let me followup with you in a bit.
Anyways, how to follow upwithout fear, speaking of
follow-up, because when you arespirit-led, your sales flow from
peace, not from that pressure, not from just following up

(10:35):
because you need to follow upbecause you need that sale.
There's no pressure when youlead this way.
So if you've been selling from aplace of anxiety or you feel
like your results are dependenton you alone, I would love,
love, love to see you inside.
So you can start with a 30-dayfree trial right now.
You just go toconfidencealesacademy.com

(10:57):
forward slash membership.
That's confidentsalesacademy.com forward slash
membership.
There's no pressure, there's nostrings, just a space to grow in
faith and confidence within yourbusiness and your sales process.
Because you don't need to sellharder, you need to sell, as
they say, holier.
You need to sell holier.
You need to invite God into yoursales process.

(11:19):
All right, my friend.
So before you go, let's justtake a second to reflect today.
So where am I striving insteadof surrendering?
If you can name it, you canchange it.
Bring it to God, ask him to showyou a new way to sell, one led
by his peace.
And if this episode encouragedyou, could you please take 30

(11:43):

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
