Natasha and Jenna releases a mini-season with special guest Keshia Dennis a Mental Health Advocate discussing how to have mental stability tips throughout the Holidays. Keshia Dennis is the founder and CEO of The Elephant in the Room, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charity organization that educates and strongly advocates for Mental Health & Wellness. Developed after personal mental health experiences and learning of other sufferers, Keshia found the need to support others by promoting Mental Health awareness. Prior to The Elephant in the Room, Inc., Keshia worked in corporate America and in the independent school industry as a Director of Human Resources, where she encountered many people that were suffering from a Mental Health condition. Keshia found herself to be a resource to people and began coaching those close to her. After the daunting discovery of the rise in the number of child and adult suicide rate, Keshia was motivated to take things a step further. Keshia’s solution is simple: “The quicker we normalize it, the quicker we can get help before it’s too late.” Blackout is coming for the Holidays, how will you balance during the pandemic? Are the Holidays a depressing time for you? Let's have this taboo conversation!

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
