1. What is one thing God has taught you throughout our investigation of the life and ministry of Jesus, according to the Gospel. of Luke?
2. Why would Jesus spend time eating with people who did not like him?
3. Read aloud Luke 14:1-6. What do you think was most important to these Pharisees What do you think was most important to Jesus?
4. Read aloud Luke 14:7-14. What is your main takeaway from these verses? How would you apply that takeaway in your daily life?
5. Read aloud Luke 14:15-24. What do you think are some common excuses people make for not following Jesus? What have been some of your excuses?
6. Pastor Chris said, "In the Kingdom of God, there's always room for those who respond." What do you think is the appropriate response to Jesus' invitation to follow Him?
