Chris Barnard, elite strength and conditioning coach and Founder and CEO of Overtime Athletes, joins Glenn on the Field to discuss the fundamentals to increasing speed, building strength and improving agility for athletes.  A certified strength coach for professional and elite amateur athletes, Barnard, outlines the main goals of strength building, the exercises used to build game speed, and the types of movements that will increase agility on the field. Chris also shares sports specific tips on developing vertical force, corrective exercises to reduce injuries and enhance athletic performance, how to restore balance and comeback from injuries, and understanding loading patterns that will translate to the athlete’s movement on the field and court.
