By the end of this episode, you'll know why skipping or skimp on breakfast
can throw your hormones into chaos.
The nutrients your ovaries actuallyneed in the morning to support
egg health and balanced hormones.
How eating a fertility optimizedbreakfast helps regulate your

blood sugar, cortisol and circadianrhythm, all critical for conception.
So I will die on this hill.
This is probably one of the most impactfulchanges my clients make that end up with
them getting their big fat positive anda healthy pregnancy, and on average a lot

of times within just a couple of months.
So if you are rolling out of bed.
Grabbing coffee, maybeyou're even exercising.
Maybe you're having a piece oftoast or oats or nothing at all.
You are putting your body into ablood sugar rollercoaster that is

quietly sabotaging your hormones,ovulation and egg quality.
So let's break it down.
When your blood sugar is dysregulated,it is going to impact your hormones
on such an extensive level and notin a good way when your first meal

of the day consists of caffeine.
Mainly carbs or nothing at all.
Your blood sugar is going to spikeand then it's going to crash.
Every crash tells your body it'sin survival mode, and that triggers
stress hormones like cortisol.
And when you have high cortisolover time, this throws off your.

Delicate sex hormone balance, and itmakes it harder to ovulate consistently
and also sustain a healthy pregnancy.
And your ovaries need enoughprotein and healthy fats.
Your eggs and reproductivehormones are built from the

(02:44):
ground up from protein and fat,
not from coffee and not fromsuper high carb focused breakfast.
Okay, so we wanna focus on a breakfastrich in protein and healthy fats
to stabilize your blood sugar.
And this is going to give your bodythe raw materials it needs to produce

strong, healthy eggs and hormones.
So think.
Eggs with avocado on organicsourdough toast, a protein smoothie,
or even salmon with greens.
If that sounds good to you in the morning,
your circadian rhythm in fertility are.
Quite intermeshed together eating anutrient-dense breakfast within an hour

of waking signals safety to your body andaligns with your natural circadian rhythm.
This is going to help regulate insulinand cortisol, which in turn will help
regulate estrogen and progesterone.
And when your body feels nourishedand safe, it's much more likely to
prioritize fertility and reproduction.

So let's recap.
If you are skipping a realbreakfast, here's what's happening.
Your blood sugar is spiking and crashing.
It's raising your cortisol and it'smessing with your sex hormones.
You are quite literally deprivingyour ovaries in your body of
the protein and healthy fats.
It needs to build strong,healthy eggs and hormones.

You are signaling to your body thatit is in a stressful situation instead
of a safe situation, which is wherefertility is going to thrive the most.
So what is the most simplestshift that I offer my clients?
I do myself.
Okay.
It is starting your day witha fertility focused breakfast.

So aiming for.
At least 20 to 30 gramsof quality protein.
Pairing this with healthy fats and somefiber rich complex whole food carbs.
This simple shift can dramaticallyimprove blood sugar, balance hormone

regulation, and the quality of your eggs.
I have had so many clients get pregnantshortly after implementing this into
their morning and breakfast routineif I had a nickel for every time.
So I just want you toremember, fertility isn't.
Built on restriction orskipping or skimping on meals.
