She realized her dream in 1997 of becoming a dentist when she graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She started a practice from scratch in Lexington, MA where she would work for the next fifteen years. Having had some challenges along the way with her dental practice from a business perspective, she realized she wanted a more formal education in the principles of business. This led her to pursue an MBA from Suffolk University in 2012. In April of 2014, she began her new role as Assistant Dean of Predoctoral Clinical Education where her major responsibility was to revamp the clinical environment making it more patient centered, increasing the efficiency of the students interactions with both patients and faculty and improving the overall financial picture of the undergraduate clinics. In January of 2016, she became Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs overseeing all of the undergraduate and postgraduate clinical operations for the school. Currently, she is President of the Massachusetts Dental Society and the fourth female president in June of 2020. Following her tenure in dental education, she joined the business side of dentistry as the Senior Vice President of North America for Promethean Dental Systems, an educational and technology company whose mission is to evolve dental education at all phases of the professional’s life.
