In short, the Naked Soul Podcast is all about getting aligned—spirit, soul and body—so that we can begin to live from a place of truth and authenticity. And honestly, when it comes to living from a place of truth and authenticity, I couldn’t think of a better guest then my guest for this episode—Amanda Bucci. There are so many different things that I love and admire about Amanda, but what struck me the most about our time together was that Amanda isn’t afraid of taking risks with her life. But as you might know, taking risks with your life isn’t easy. Sure, it opens you up to experience life in new and sometimes unimaginable ways, but it also makes you incredibly susceptible to immense pain, heartbreak, failure and loss. And Amanda, as you’ll hear in this episode, is not exempt from that pain. But regardless of the obstacles that she has faced throughout her journey, she has had an uncanny ability to keep her heart positioned in a place of humility where she’s always willing to learn from the criticism or failures, and do the inner work that’s necessary to grow and evolve. In this episode we break down and talk about her problems with people pleasing and how she worked through it. She even goes on to open up and talk about the the perfect storm that the universe orchestrated to get her to slow down and begin to pay attention that what’s most important—her heart. We touched on overcoming Imposter Syndrome, creating a life that you’re proud of and what it looks like to choose yourself. You can find Amanda's Website, here You can find Amanda on Instagram, here

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
