After being trafficked in her early 20's, Kristin has passionately fought human trafficking and worked in the anti-trafficking sector since 2008. She is an active member of key organizations such as the Regional Interdisciplinary Collaborative Working to Disrupt Human Trafficking, The Virginia Coalition Against Human Trafficking, Survivor Alliance, and more.

Kristin serves as the on the Board of Directors as the Survivor Affairs Expert for Liluye, a global anti-trafficking organization. She is a recognized speaker and published writer on topics like vacatur & criminal record relief, survivor engagement & leadership, current policy issues. Her advocacy work reaches state, national and international audiences. She has done multiple podcasts, webinars, media interviews and keynotes.

A valued contributor and advisor to organizations like One God Foundation & Recover Hope,as well as sitting on several Boards, Kristin actively champions survivor involvement.

She presently is dedicating all the
free time she can find to work alongside the amazing, all volunteer team behind We Fight Monsters & Sparrow House. Kristin is the Fundraising and Grant Coordinator, as well as acting in the capacity of the Survivor Services & Anti-Trafficking Specialist. She is humbled to be a part of the team that is comprised of retired and active duty veterans, passionate allies, and addiction survivors. 

Kristin's diverse roles include grant proposal writing, consulting, blog writing, speaking engagements, and grant award compliance. Her technology skills are advanced, and include extensive knowledge and experience in numerous applications, programming, web design, marketing, social media coordination, writing copy, SEO, various AIs and more. 

She's dedicated to amplifying survivor voices, fostering leadership, and promoting accountability. Kristin also is highly skilled in networking - pulling in numerous sectors to work together to combat human trafficking across all modalities. 

Off-duty, Kristin is a skilled chef, avid gardener, and animal enthusiast, sharing her life with her boyfriend Jon and their home with a cat, a dog, and two guinea pigs.
