Episode #121 - New Year, New Direction, New Thoughts

Happy New Year everyone!

Like many of you, this past year has been incredibly transitional for Kim and I.  We had some BIG CHANGES.

I remember a few months ago Kim asked me a question I'm not sure she asked me before:

"Are we going to be OK?"  The answer by the way was YES, and I meant it, it wasn't a buffered answer.

New home.

New town.

New schools.

New businesses.

New partners.

New relationships.

New opportunities.

New goals.

And crazy enough, through this year of transition and transformation of our personal and professional life, and through the moments of chaos that come from all that change, we've found more direction and peace then we have for awhile.

We talk decompression, hibernation, getting clear and focused, slowing life down to actually speed up what we want to be intentional on.

We talk all about this change and how the way in which we operated the past 10 years set us up to have a successful transition to two brand new businesses.

I think integrity, how you act, your moral compass, it all matters, and as long as you feel good about your decisions, walk in confidence.

Kim said it best: "Just because you make a decision that doesn't align with someone else, doesn't make you wrong." Bingo.
