S06E02: Living with Gratitude
Series: Gratitude
Host: Rev. Dr. Charles Zuta
A life of gratitude is a deliberate choice which we must make. While it is not always easy, being grateful for the positive aspects of life can have a profound impact on our mood, outlook, and overall well-being. For instance, expressing gratitude for the support of family and friends can strengthen relationships and foster a sense of belonging. Studies have shown that people who regularly practice gratitude experience a 23% lower level of stress and significant increase in happiness and reduction in depressive moods. Additionally, acknowledging the small joys in life, such as a beautiful sunset or a kind gesture from a stranger, can enhance daily experiences and contribute to a more positive mindset. Furthermore, practicing gratitude aligns with God's will for our lives as it encourages us to recognize and appreciate the blessings we have been given. I discuss how to practice gratitude in this episode.
