Apparently ancient physicians couldn’t tell…or at least they thought that the classic rash across the faces of patients with the commonly known condition Lupus, looked close enough to a wolf’s bite to name it after the Latin word for wolf! Then we’ll talk about its prevalence in women and some interesting theories on why its so common in women over men!
