Habló de sus relaciones con el Cabildo insular, que considera "cordiales" a pesar del cruce de declaraciones, y aun reconociendo discrepancias con la institución insular, y de otros temas como la puesta en marcha de zonas de aceleración de energías renovables; el desmantelamiento de la central térmica de El Charco, aunque no será pronto; o la próxima reforma de la Ley del Suelo, que tramita la Consejería de Territorio que lidera el consejero majorero Manuel Miranda.
