My guests today are Tom Hering and Mary Anne Harmer the force behind Benefit Corporations for Good a certification program for businesses focus on their triple bottom line: Planet, People, and Profit. Tom and Mary Anne are long-time veterans of the marketing world. After knowing each other for many years, they decided to collaborate on two books 25 Building Blocks to Create a Conscientious Organization (2016) and Putting Soul into Business (2017). Afterward, they teamed up again to further their positive impact on the world by creating Benefit Corporations for Good. In this podcast, we discuss their journey, the certification process, the ethical responsibility of businesses in our capitalist society and much more.
