Marietta is filled with an eclectic mix of the past and present day. Its close proximity to Atlanta makes it the perfect day trip to experience the spookier side of this quaint, Antebellum city.
Learn the folklore of a cemetery statue that responds to a question about her babies. Visit a Civil War era hotel that is now a museum where the ghosts of wounded soldiers refuse to leave. Next, listen to the ghost stories of two restaurants and a coffee shop located in Marietta Square. Finally, hear about a former Civil War battlefield that still often still smells of cannon fire smoke and blood.
